I usually expect better from Chick-fil-A, which is why this experience was disappointing. I ordered a Cool Chicken Wrap meal from the Dumfries location (Store #03185) and specifically asked for two Italian dressings. When I got home, they were missing. I called the store right away and was told the only option was to drive back to get the dressing. At that point, I was already home, and it's a 10-minute drive each way. No apology, no offer to make it right, no customer service recovery at all. They also forgot to include a spoon for my ice cream. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. This response lacked the courtesy and care Chick-fil-A is usually known for. Hopefully they take feedback like this seriously and do better in the future. read more

The mobile order lane at this location honestly defeats the entire purpose of mobile ordering. Customers use mobile ordering for the convenience -- being able to grab their food quickly without having to sit through the regular drive-thru line. Unfortunately, this location consistently has the mobile lane blocked off with cones, forcing everyone to merge back into the regular line just to pick up an order that was already placed ahead of time. It makes the mobile ordering option feel pointless. Keeping that lane open would not only improve the customer experience, but it would also help traffic flow much faster and smoother for everyone. Hopefully this is something management will reconsider because the setup right now takes away the convenience that mobile ordering is supposed to provide. read more

After visiting Government Island, I stopped at Chick-fil-A on my way to Gunston Hall. It was right off the main road and easy to access. The parking lot is small, but the inside is surprisingly bigger. There's plenty of seating, some by outlets to recharge your phone, and a play area for kids. Service was quick and friendly. With a smile, staff bring you your food and refill your soda. The space is clean, including its restrooms. This location has a drive thru too. read more

Maybe I'm tripping, but I order ice cream cups from Chick-fil-A all time.... and I've never received one that was only half full. On top of that, the Oreo topping was barely added (not even visible in the photo). If I'm paying an extra 40 cent for Oreo for each cup of ice cream. I expect the portion to actually reflect that. I asked if the cup could be filled properly and if more Oreo could be added. The drive-thru employee called the manager, who said this was "standard." I told him i didn't pay 40 cent extra for this lil sprinkle of Oreo. He eventually added more Oreo, but wouldn't add more ice cream. like the damn ice cream was coming out his check. stingy AF the photo reflects the aftermath of me asking for more oreo. read more

If a employee makes a small mistake, such as giving wrong items to the wrong customer, in a drive thru line, it is 100% understandable. I just had a visit at this Chick-fil-A, received 2/3 of my items, but was questioned multiple times if I had received the third item when I continuously said "no I have not received my milkshake" Manager of the store, Brian was brought out, and I was continued to be asked if I received my drink. I continued saying "no, I have not" and was asked to wait even longer for a drink! I clearly saw the employee give my drink to the wrong car, why can't we just own up to it and give the customer his shake instead of continuing to ask me the same question! I apologize, but Brian, you should give the benefit of the doubt to the customer. From breakfast to lunch salad to a quick snack this place has it all!! Their breakfast sandwiches ( I love the bacon egg cheese biscuit) and burritos are delicious! The biscuit is nice and moist, very tasty. The breakfast burrito has sausage egg cheese and hash browns in it and comes with a jalapeño salsa for dipping. The salads are scrumptious and they have toppings that compliment their dressings from roasted red pepper flakes to chili pepinos and granola with almonds. I like the Cobb and Southwest spicey the best. Their two soups are nice light alternatives and of course their iconic chicken sandwiches are delicious. The staff is the friendliest you'll find anywhere and they serve with a cheerful attitude. Did I mention hand spun milkshakes? Yup they have those too. Chick Fil A delivers for a small fee and your food is always hot and fresh. Their delivery service starts at 7:00 AM and runs until 8:00 PM. ENJOY!! read more

The people are friendly, similar to any chick-fil-a, but this was one of the worst CFA experiences I've had in a while. Stopped in for breakfast and ordered a couple of chicken biscuits, hash browns and coffee. The biscuits themselves were ok. But they had the tiniest pieces of chicken imaginable. It was laughable how thin this piece of chicken was, and completely disappointing. hash browns were fine. Also ordered a cold brew coffee and had no idea it came sweetened with milk. When I asked about it while ordering it would've been nice to know, since I thought I was getting a black cold brew. I love the people here, they're all so friendly! However...the first time I went here, they had forgotten my fries. No biggie, I still had my child's meal and my sandwich. The second time, my daughter wanted milk with her kids meal...that was missing. No problem, I gave her some of my lemonade. But the 3rd time there wasn't any sauce with any of the food items that I had ordered, my daughters nuggets were supposed to be grilled but ended up being fried (which she couldn't eat-sensitive stomach) and majority of the food was cold. I like this location a lot because it's convenient for me coming from work but...I hate getting home to then notice that my food isn't right. I love Chick-fil-A and we eat lunch here at least once a week. They are clean, fast and delicious. We love the deluxe chicken sandwich, chicken strips, mac n cheese and the fries! I love that we can curb side pick up food and the staff is super wonderful. Why didn't they get 5 stars, they have gotten cheap with the fries! This coupled with the parking issue to get in and out of this place are what need to be fixed. I did see construction occurring in the parking lot, which hopefully means a solution to this lunch time madness. Now start being more generous with the fries again. Fingers crossed! read more

This was our first stop at this great chain restaurant. While the parking lot seems small, the staff had big hearts and smiles. It was clean and well cared for inside. Finally, the fantastic food! This review is in reference to my experience at the location in Dumfries, VA, 3880 Fettler Park Dr. I have visited this location several times since they opened, and each visit has resulted in incorrect orders and disappointing service. I've been reluctant to visit this location again; however, because of the convenience, I decided to visit once again today, and they've managed to live up to THEIR standard! Without going into complete details, I decided to share the short version. Cashier wanted to charge me for mustard, because they will only allow 4 sauces for each order, only to find out that this location doesn't offer mustard, extra pickles were not provided, no ketchup or hot sauce. During my dining experiences at Chick fil la, condiments are available in the restaurant without an additional charge. Fires were not crisp or fresh, chicken was flat, and it didn't look like the quality of chicken that I'm accustomed to at chick fil la's. I will not give them another chance to disappoint!! This place is PACKED during prime time, so your best bet is to skip the drive-thru, come on in, and get your food to go if need be. It'll save you a few minutes for sure. There's plenty of seating inside if you do decide to stay. My top menu item suggestions are the Chick-Fil-A Deluxe, 12-Count Nuggets (Who gets filled up on 8?!), and the Cobb Salad (Although this doesn't come as a meal so you'll have to order a drink separately). I have been eating at this place for years and have never been more disappointed and dissatisfied as I was this morning. Simple order, bacon egg and cheese biscuit. He gave me excellent service and was patient with my two kids who took a long time to decide what they wanted. He spoke eloquently and nicely, and served my order quickly and efficiently. Doesn't matter what time of the day you go here, the drive thru is always crowded. During my most recent trip, I noticed that they had people out taking orders which made the line move faster but in the past its just a mess with no correlation. Food wise, they've never failed. Last night my spicy deluxe was made perfectly. I always ask for the avocado lime ranch (extra .25) on the side even if Im not getting a salad as its a great dipping sauce for my fries and/or nuggets. read more

Updated review: I called the store directly to ask that the signs directing delivery drivers to park illegally in handicap spots be taken down. They were not taken down two weeks later. After the two weeks passed, I contacted Chick-fil-A corporate. Less than a week later the signs were taken down. I'm very glad to have gotten this issue resolved. Disappointed that I had to reach corporate and this issue wasn't resolved when I first brought it to the attention of this location's management. read more

There are not many places like Chick-fil-a when it comes to consistency in service. I had the pleasure of attending the military appreciation night at this chick-fil-a and all I can say is WOW! First the organization: this place had a line wrapped around the door but the process was so smooth and fast that it seemed like I only waited in line less than 10 mins. Secondly, the cleanliness: there were hundreds of people at the event but the restaurant was as clean and organized as if there were not but 15 people in the store. This impressed me because the signature style of having the condiments stacked so neatly and precisely was still in tack. Lastly the food: it was hot, fast, and most importantly fresh! Whatever chick-fil-a does for training should be bottled and sold to all businesses. As a manager of 560 military officers and enlisted this place is a perfect example of how service is done right. read more

This is a BIG Chick-fil-A guys! It's located in a perfect spot, right next to the 95 exit so if you've got a long drive, feel hungry and need a quick and semi (cause it's chicken) healthy meal, take the Dumfries exit towards Manassas and it's on the left hand side :) I like the fact that this location has 2 drive thru speakers to order from. It helps with speeding along the line, even though there is still some congestion before you get your meal and drive off. I will definitely be stopping by again :) read more

I have been to this Chick-fil-a location numerous times since moving to the Northern Virginia area. I love the convenience (short drive from my house) & the food is always super yummy. My go to order is a 12 count nugget meal or a deluxe chick-fil-a sandwich meal (comes with pickles, lettuce, & a tomato). Now for anyone who hasn't tried the deluxe sandwich, please do yourself a favor & try that thing! It's absolutely delicious. I think it's 100 times better than the original sandwich. Make sure you download their app! You can earn points with each visit & receive free food. I mean, who doesn't like free food?! All you do is scan the app before purchasing your food & voila the points are loaded on. The staff are very friendly at this location & the lines are never long. I will definitely keep coming back! Yup! This has to be the worst Chick-Fil-A I have been to in Virginia! As much as I would like to say that this place is going to improve, they still find a way to make me more disappointed every trip. What's Wrong? 1. Well first off, the staff. They still aren't the nicest or helpful. The only person I have found to be nice or helpful is one of the managers who I don't even think works here anymore. You have to be very specific about your order. They never ask or remind you about the combos. They are very inattentive and inefficient. 2. The Drive Thru. I have NEVER gone through the drive thru and had a right and efficient order. They mess up on meals and the meals never seem to be done with the quality or care of a dine in. If you happen to not be pressed for time, I strongly recommend walking in and saying "To-Go" instead of going through the drive thru. They seem to be extremely slow. I have found that this location treats drive thru like a joke. What's Improved? 1. To start things off, the food. I have found a slight improvement to their food. They have moved up in the tasty ranks, but l find their portion sizes to be VERY small. 2. The Dining Room. Yes, the dining room just BARELY made the improvement ranks. They seem to now start keeping their place clean, but I have really only been here during opening hours. Although I may seem hypocritical about writing this review, because I check in here a lot, it's the only Chick-Fil-A along my route and my love for Chick-Fil-A products trumps this location's flaws.
