The reason this place gets 1 star is because that can't seem to get your order right. Mathew at the register will get it wrong every time. Ask for extra sauce and he won't do it. As if the owner, who was right behind him, has ordered "be cheap. No extra condiments"! What a joke! Please read the other reviews about cutting corners. first off not only was the drive through line 20 minutes long, i didn't even get my food in the drive though. i was told to park in the front and wait. after about 15 more minutes I had to go inside to the restaurant where i was not welcomed, not greeted, i had to find someone to talk to and when i told them that i had not received my food i was met with an eye roll and no words back to me. upon waiting another 10 minutes and hearing and seeing employees talk about how i was in the wrong, i finally got my food. my goddam pleasure chick-fil-a read more

I love chick-fil-a but this location is just terrible. The staff isn't the normal bubbly, friendly staff that we have all become accustomed to with Chick-fil-a. Here's the deal. You order at the drive-thru, they read it back perfectly, you pick it up under your name, and go home. Only then do you find out they messed up your order and didn't pack several of the items you ordered and paid for. I went ALL the way back, thinking they would simply replace the missing items, but NO, the "manager" Justin refused to refund or replace the items THEIR EMPLOYEES STOLE, because I had the credit card but not the receipt. This is a criminal operation and should be shut down. More people should complain here and to corporate because this is simply unacceptable. read more

Not such a great place, they never have breakfast available and when they do they say it stops at 10:30 but this location opens at 10:30 . It makes no sense just poor management . Oh gosh, I'm nervous to give such a high rating now that I see the other low ratings... I've come in three times. Twice to eat and work (when there are a lot of tables available), since it has a really nice cafe atmosphere. There is service here (wahhh?!), a lady usually comes by during lunch time and asks if you need anything and sometimes hands out napkins. Super impressed with that, and the nice employees in general. Also I typically get the sandwiches and they have always been hot, fresh, delicious. I'm a frequent chick fil a customer and have visited multiple locations. This is the first location that I've been to where the employees aren't very welcoming. They aren't rude but not the chick fil a standard whatsoever. I understand we all have bad days so I gave them the benefit of doubt but I've been 3 times now and each time every employee I interact with gives McDonalds level customer service. I mean they don't even say "my pleasure" and I LIVE for that type of service. This is the WORST Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. They have the WORST customer service and my order is ALWAYS wrong. It's almost as if this location is run independently of the main chain. They don't care about the customers at all and the employees have the worst attitudes. They are more concerned with laughing at the customer than actually doing their job. I am a truck driver, we typically do not have very many options for food. I was delivering a load nearby and walked to the Chick-Fil-A Sloan's Lake. I walked in to make an order, 30 min before they closed, they told me to download the app and order online. As a truck driver, I dont have too much time to dilly dally to get my food (not everyone is savvy with the smartphones). I told them I am a truck driver and would just like to take an order since I already walked there, they told me no, must be done via the app. Then I tried to order in the drive up, but they wouldnt let me order as I didnt have a car. This whole situation is not up to par with the Chick-fil-a standard. So very disappointed, as this whole pandemic has places closing early and here I am with no dinner tonight. Love this location. They are always super nice and accommodating, even when I come in and have to order 10 breakfast sandwiches for work. The location is also extremely clean. Tip: If you want more than one sauce per meal, you should say, "Can I have 4 (or however many you want) Chick-Fil-A sauces?" They will give them to you - you just need to be specific. Also, if they ask you if you want sauces when you place your order, make sure you remind them when you get to the window. Sauce problem solved. :) read more

Ok, so it's chick fil a, you know what you're in for, the food is no better or worse than any location. What sets this experience apart, is one employee, Marianna, I hope the management knows and appreciates what a valuable asset they have with her. Marianna keeps the lobby spotless and offers a higher level of customer service than any fast food establishment I've ever been to. She's always busy, helping guests, cleaning, replenishing the condiment bar, this location ribs smoothly because of her. Need a refill? Sauce? A friendly hello? She's got you. The customer service here is horrible. I ordered two grilled 12 piece nuggets, no meal. Was asked repeatedly if I wanted the meal, said no several times, then was still asked what I wanted to drink - nothing, as not ordering the meal. Finally picked up the order, was only given one 12 count; asked for the other. Wasn't until I got home that I realized they'ed given me the fried nuggets not the grilled. Drove all the way back and was made to pay the $2 difference for their mistake. Seriously? Eat the $2 when you get it wrong. I am not a huge Chik fil a fan, but this one is near an office I am temporarily working out of and I have always found the food fresh, the drive thru fast and when I have gone in, the place is clean. Maybe the busy noon hour brings out the best, but it is a good spot for a quick lunch in Edgewater! read more

They have great chicken sandwiches, the grilled or spicy are my favorites, but I really love their vanilla iced coffe (better than the overpriced chain), their fries are not too salty and they have the big packs of ketchup. read more

Chick fil a is my all time favorite restaurant ever. I just moved to this area last August and every time I go to this location I am utterly disappointed. Every time I go through the drive thru I feel rushed because maybe they're trying to keep good ticket times I don't know. I went back traded my food got back home and then found a hair in the new order of fries the gave me for the mistake. We bring them back and the manager Janay tells me that "those aren't hairs , they are the bristles from our cleaning brush, do you want a new order?" I called the store to let them know and Justin offered me two ways to recoup the cost. He was super friendly and apologized for the trouble. Chick fil a is literally my boyfriends favorite fast food place, we live about 5 minutes from this one so we go all the time. I never even write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one, that's how disappointed I am in this place. They have messed up (missing/wrong items) the last FIVE orders we placed, today being the SIXTH. I thought maybe they just hated me till I saw other reviews saying the same thing, which makes me wonder how much money these people have straight up stolen from people. I have never experienced anything like this at another Chick-fil-A or honestly any restaurant before. It was an extremely long wait for a breakfast bowl meal. It seemed they were in slow mode. The young Hispanic female who took my order, was prepping iced tea and overflowing the gallon jugs. I went to the men's room and came back with others in line in front of me still waiting for their orders.
