Nothing like walking into the location to order a drink and pee to go in and knock on the bathroom door when two girls come out together from a SINGLE BATHROOM and it reeks like weed. Had to wait for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me ands that's only due to me going to the door and waving at them. Manager finally comes up and I tell him and tbh he looks baked himself and could have cared less. Oh and another guy came in and the one girl brings him his food and it was clear as day she was high and he even turned around and said something about it. Way to go sonic! read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Sonic. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, and after sitting there that long with no real updates, we finally decided to cancel our order. To make matters worse, they told us they couldn't process a refund on the spot, which was incredibly frustrating. While we were waiting, the entire restaurant smelled strongly like marijuana, which made the environment feel unprofessional and uncomfortable. On top of that, the employees were rude and dismissive when we asked about our order and the refund. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. Slowest service I ever had here asked for extra cherries. They gave you one extra cherry and it was 20 bucks for three milkshakes and the cashier was very unfriendly. then she handed me my milkshake out of carrier and one of the lids is completely off and milkshake goes everywhere. read more

Terrible, I along with another friend to sonic. Before we were even going to approach sonic we ordered online almost 15 early arrived right on the time that said the food was ready. We explained in the beginning how we had two orders and once we pulled up to the next window had to explain again. We get our order and one drink is missing and the other is wrong. It makes me wonder if they even bothered to check what we ordered? They finally got the wrong drink right but continued to forget the other one. It took almost 20 extra minutes for them to get the drink and the line was getting long for no reason. After that there was no apology for the inconvenience they just handed it over. Sonic Drive-In is not a place people usually rave about when it comes to the food, I know it's a place that I haven't raved about in the past. I ended up needing a quick and fast lunch on Tuesday and somehow I ended up at this location. The place had a decent line when I arrived but the staff was super quick at getting everyone there food fast and with a smile. The menu here isn't too much different then most other fast food style places and Sonic's claim to fame is more in the ice cream category. I ended up ordering the crispy chicken sandwich combo with tater tots and an ocean water. What's ocean water you ask? THE ABSOLUTE BEST BEVERAGE IN THE WORLD! I have no actual idea what's in the drink, but it truly is amazing. The chicken sandwich was pretty alright and even though it was nothing to really remember, it was still a decent chicken sandwich. The tots were, well, tots and pretty alright as well. I also got a small Oreo milkshake that was pretty darn good as well. Sonic Drive-In is a real hit or miss type place. The desserts and drinks are pretty awesome while the food tends to be pretty okay. Is this the best fast food franchise? No, but they hold up alright and you can certainly find something you like here. read more

The slushies were very good and flavorful, however the service of the cashier was very poor and she was very rude.

I understand that it's fast food. I do. Even so, there must be SOME standards for the food that you serve. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with jalapeños and Mayo and an order of jalapeño cheesy bites with a cherry limeade. Simple, easy to do right. They didn't. The chicken was not hot, there was about a teaspoon of Mayo in one little glob towards the edge of the sandwich, and 4 jalapeño slices stacked at the center. Wildly disappointing does it too much service. The jalapeño bites had clearly been sitting out for at least 30 minutes and were not even warm and very tough. This was the worst meal I've had from a Sonic location. The ONLY reasons this got 2 stars and not 1 is because it was technically what I ordered, and it's hard to mess up a cherry limeade. Management needs to step up and do their job so that this restaurant stops serving garbage. I will not, even on my laziest nights, dine at this establishment again. read more

I went to sonic this evening, they messed up my order, bad, and the person who brought i tout to us was very rude and didn't make and effort to fix our order or see if there is anything else we could have possibly needed to make our experience not trashy. Every time I go, they always seem to either forget something or mess up the order entirely. Recently, it was a simple order of a Pretzel twist with cheese sauce, and their new fried cookie dough bites al a mode, which comes with the bites and ice cream. I drove away and realized they forgot my cheese sauce and the ice cream. So I had half of my order. I didn't go back because I used Sonic Bucks from a previous botched order, but I was still upset. Eh, it wasn't that great. We went more for the experience. We drove in and ate in the car. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a #1 (cheeseburger and fries). When I opened my burger......HOLY FREAKING CONDIMENTS. they were dripping everywhere and it made it extremely difficult to eat. The burger also wasn't even hot, it was warm. The fries were old and way over salted. My son ate all of his corn dog and tater tots. I did try the tater tots and they were really good. They seemed to have a lot of offer on their drink and ice cream menu. I will likely return to try those items, but probably not any more food. read more

Terribly inconsistent service. They never work out any kinks because their turnover of staff is so high. Not a clean restaurant on the inside. Every time I've been there I've come across something gross or absolutely disgusting. They don't have a changing table in either bathroom and I once saw a woman changing her baby on a table. Sticky tables, slippery floor, and always some kind of distinct smell. Ice cream is there selling point but I don't think the hygiene is there. No extra steps were taken during the pandemic either. Terrible safety practices for their employees. Carhops forced to skate in the most terrible weather with fear of loosing their job. Food is all very salty or too sweet to count as a meal. Temperature and amount are a variable based on when you come. read more

Went there a couple times already. Every time service was slow. Pieces are decent and good is usually good. Biggest problem I have is that Sonic has a lot of deals/specials if your order through the app and this location does not let your order using the app. Extremely inconvenience and really behind the times. My Hamburgers were burnt, the lettuce was wilted, tomato was soggy. I asked for no onion on my 2 cheese burgers, one was correct, the other one had onions. I ordered chili cheese tots and never received them. While ordering, there were 3 people behind the counter, 2 females 1 male. Ehhh! Horrible! When you order just a Sonic Blast and it took 14mins and we hadn't received it yet. At 15mins my husband went to the counter to say cancel the Shake and they handed it to him. Then said they don't offer refunds but here's a token for a free slushee. We declined and will not go back. This place is good if you park and have them roller skate your food to you. That way if there is an issue they can fix it right there. But I have yet to not have a problem with my order when I ordered online or through the ap for pickup. I couldn't even list how many issues--wrong condiments, wrong order, missing food, missing upgrade substitutions multiple times. If you upgrade those tots to mozzarella sticks you won't get them. Upgrade to a large from a medium, it won't happen. Then you'll be driving back only to be given some Sonic bucks. Really, Sonic bucks? What corporate bigwig thought that one up. They are also, like so many fastfood joints these days, seemingly always understaffed. Still the shakes are great, the barbecue chicken is good fast food chicken. Cheese burgers when half priced are a good deal, as are the half priced Slushies during "happy hour." The kids who work there do their best. I have been to multiple Sonics and have never experienced something like this. It took almost 15 min for them to answer the call. It wasn't really busy at all either. Then we waited for nearly 45 min for our food just for 4 people. As we wait we see the workers skating and running around the parking lot like children. Playing around on the ramp railing and pushing each other around. After we got our food, one of our drinks was wrong and after looking in the bag we realized that we also had the wrong food, it took them another 15 min to get our food. The food was dry and wasn't like any other sonic food we have had. When I go to sonic I always expect fast service and delicious food but instead got the opposite. We have been looking forward to visiting the Erie location..DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The guy taking the order just couldn't get it right no matter how hard we tried. We asked for a #2 Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger, with ketchup & mustard it also comes with lettuce pickle & tomato, a # 3, onion rings and our drinks, we were told they don't have onion rings, the order on the screen said Dixie burger add mayo then another Dixie burger add ketchup mustard then the #3 Super Sonic dbl bacon cheeseburger, after me trying to explain to this kid I don't know what a Dixie burger is that word is no where on the menu, he told us that is what it was called..then after trying to explain I never the ordered the first one on the list he just could't grasp what I was trying to say until I told him to remove it from the order. After a bit of a wait..the food comes no #2 Super Sonic double cheeseburger..just a sonic burger meat ketchup & mustard, got the waitress to understand the mix up so we thought, she brings back the correct sandwich but now no lettuce tomato or onion, pushed the button to let them know we still had a problem, again, same kid, doesn't understand what we were trying to tell him, by that time I had had enough, went and talked to the manager to straighten it out, while waiting I asked what a Dixie burger was..she said that is what their # 2 super sonic dbl cheeseburger was called..again...no where on the menu do you see the word Dixie Burger, how are WE supposed to know that????
