It is small, but does offer indoor and outdoor seating (or it would have on a nicer day anyway). The sandwich selection includes toasted options and some vegetarian (not so much for the more restrictive diets). I skipped a foccacia option for the breakfast that I ate elsewhere on the expectation that I would eat here and that the bread would be really good, and it was in fact really good. The freshly browned exterior dominated the flavor, but that's not to say that the fresh mix of cheese and vegetables on the inside didn't contribute. I got an options with artichokes and pepper relish and it was a really rounded flavor. They had a few sides and breakfast options in addition to the core flavors. I didn't indulge in those, but I did get a canned sparkling water (the water quality issues in this part of North Carolina are well documented). The sandwich I came for was about as delicious as the other reviews led me to believe. It's a winner.

I am a frequent customer who has always enjoyed your food and service, but today's experience was deeply upsetting and unacceptable. My daughter and I were placing our order -- a Classic Carol meal with a scoop of chicken salad, and a Bacon Cheddar Melt with a scoop of Jalapeño Holly as the side. For reasons unclear, two staff members seemed unable to comprehend the order, even after we repeated it multiple times. When it became clear the order still wasn't being understood, I politely suggested we start over. At that moment, another staff member told us to "get the fuck out of the line." Hearing that language directed at us was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. I have never experienced anything like this at Chicken Salad Chick. As a loyal customer, I am requesting that this matter be addressed promptly. No customer should ever be spoken to in that manner, regardless of the situation.
