Every time I come to this chick fil a I regret it. They are not nearly as nice as any other chick fil a I've ever been to, they never say please or thank you, they never have a smile on their face and they always are talking about high school stuff behind the counter. I have always had nothing but amazing experiences eating at this Chick fil A, as well as my kids but not yesterday. The host named Mark who walks the dining area and his helper were extremely rude and had the worst attitude I've ever seen at this establishment. It first started when I asked for some hand wipes that were empty on the way and I got an eye roll when they were finally brought to me. I also noticed that Mark never said "my pleasure" or your welcome whenever we had dialogue or when he would bring something to our table, just a head nod and walk off. Then when I was about to leave with the 3 young children we had in our party, I was asked twice to pick up all my trash in a firm way as I walked towards the door, when I had picked up everything I possibly could hold and had left a cup, straw wrapper and a few napkins. I've never been asked this at any fast food restaurant as I clean up and felt I cleaned off the trash from the table the best I could. In my opinion, the host who walks the dining area is the face of the business/restaurant and should always have a pleasant and happy demeanor when they come in contact with the customers and should not make them feel unwelcome or that they were a bother or too messy when they leave. Pretty disappointed to have experienced this kind of attitude from a Chick fil a employee (Mark) who are most always very nice and professional and go above and beyond and actually love their job. This is a post solely based on customer service. May they never forget to give you an item. They forgot to give me my 8 count nuggets (value $4.73) and my daughter cried her eyes out when we got home. I went back another day with my receipt and they refused to give me the item. I had to go through their online chat and was asked about 20 questions. Seriously! And thank God I had enough money to buy another one but there are others who don't. Most of the time I go to Chick-fil-A and the employees are always very friendly and helpful. Today I asked for some lemon for my tea and the cashier blew me off and acted like I was bothering him. When you sigh and roll your eyes and look at the customer like he's bothering you, that doesn't strike me as professionalism on their part. The only thing that made this experience better, was the food server Jeremy. He got me the lemon any checked back frequently asking if I needed anything else. I'm not a picky person and the lemon was a small request. When you spending $20 for lunch you would think the cashier could pretend he care I went back today and had the same cashier..... Update 1/30/2020 For weeks now it seems things have been sitting there pre-made. We ordered Chicken biscuit for breakfast the chicken was dry and hard as a rock. This biscuit which is supposed to be fluffy was hard. Then comes lunch time and time again tough chicken not made fresh. We keep getting tough dry chicken. The tenders, chicken sandwich, hash browns, it all tastes premade and stale. Please keep food fresh you're making a great place not so great. 8/2019 Love Chic Fil A we eat here a few times a week for lunch. Here's the problem, they keep getting our order wrong. The receipt had the right info, but the prep was wrong. On another day order was taken wrong. Ask for no pickles, and I get pickles every time. Ask for no cheese, and I'm graced with a slice. :/ Ate here about 6 times in the last 2 weeks 90% of the time the order is wrong. I got a FREE chicken sandwich notification on my "Dine in Lake Forest" App for this CFA and when I ordered it and 2 other entrees was told that they do not accept it. I showed them the address and push notification and they said they only take offers from the CFA app. I was motivated to come with my kids here as a result of this offer. Seems likes bad customer service to not honor it unless they have talked to the City of Lake Forest to remove the "sponsored" notification. Honestly the quality and service at this location is beyond horrible. I've been a loyal customer since they opened and from now on I will be driving to the El Toro location or Woodbury one in Irvine where you still get fresh, hot nuggets and fresh fries. They also give good portions which the FHR location DOES NOT!! I've given them a couple of chances over the last 2 months to see if it was a fluke the 1-2 times the fries were dry or over cooked or barely filled.. same with the nuggets. But tonight it was the worst ever. Hard, dry, cold and extremely small nuggets is what I got... the manager was indifferent and absolutely awful insisting I drive back tonight to "exchange them" when I was already home and would have just gone back tomorrow to handle it. When my husband got there they wouldn't replace them because 2 out of the 12 had been eaten... How else would I have realized they were cold and gross? Surprised they even wanted the nuggets back with COVID as an issue but I understand they don't want to be scammed). The worst though, was how indifferent and rude the manager was. This Chik-Fil-A has got to be the worst one I have ever gone too. I went today and if it wasn't for my kids I would of left and not given them my business. First their drive through line was so an organized I had to go inside and placed my order then nobody knew what they were doing inside and then they basically told me they gave me my full order when they didn't, I was right in front of them and they said I didn't pay for it when the receipt clearly said I did. This is the worst chick-fil-a in the area. My boyfriend and I used to go to CFA on Friday nights weekly for three years and always had amazing service and fresh food. Fast forward to two years later and now we hardly ever visit this location because it's been so inconsistent. We drive out of our way to the El Toro or San Clemente location. Ever since the change of ownership it really has gone down hill. Lines are always massive because they still have not opened their dinning room yet. The last two times I've been to this location I've waited in line for at least 20 minutes and both of these times were not during prime rush hour either. The chicken is usually dry and over cooked at this location which is better than undercooked but it's annoying to wait all that time, pay for a meal only to be super disappointed. You have canes right next door so you'd think you want to be on your 'A' game. Nope not this location. I know these employees are overworked and short staffed (hence the reason why you guys close at 8 now) but come on....do better read more

First, drive thru lines are ridiculously long and slow, because when they need deal with customer who has issues they hold up rest of the line instead of asking them to pull over and park. She is disrespectful to the people that used to work there, she does not train her employees enough. Chick-Fil-A has the best chicken sandwich hands down. Good quality chicken, simple, tasty. You need to actually go into the location so you can see all the condiments available to put on your sandwich like Texas Pete hot sauce, Chick-Fil-A sauce, honey mustard, etc. The people that work here are polite and helpful and happy. It is a totally different fast food experience. Love their lemonade and sweet tea that you can buy by the gallon to take home. I have used their catering for work and have been very pleased with that also. They treat customers so incredibly well here and have a great customer rewards program through their email with Chick-Fil-A and the cowz program. We were recently invited to their first customer appreciation night at UCI and got to meet other Chick-Fil-A fans and people who work with the company. In one month, three unpleasant experience...My family and I eat at Chick-fil-A at least once a week, the quality of everything at this location is going downhill. Imagine a box of french fries mostly from skin of potatoes. It was more like they put all them in one box in purpose. The second experience was right before the evacuation due to the fire. When I received a drive through order with a missing sandwich (which is not the first time), the person in charge told me that they closed the register and kitchen, and they were closing the restaurant for the rest of the day. She said she would not be able either refund or make the sandwich and instead she gave me a card for a free sandwich. I wanted to use last week, and I found out that it was already used. So...she gave the used card without any value...Tonight, we ordered a curbside pick up food order, and it took only 5 minutes for my husband to arrive to the restaurant after I placed the order. Wow!! Just an amazing amazing experience here at this chick fil a. My fiancé and I came in late night and it was close to closing but we were still greeted with open arms. Not like other places where they might want to rush you out. We had an amazing experience by Faith. She was so attentive and just smiling and willing to get us extra sauce. She even came by the table and asked if there was anything else she could get us. She was so sweet and just an all out amazing server. Best fast food joint. Hands down. I like to come to Chik-Fil-A so I can dine like a goddamn king. Not only do they have the tastiest chicken sandwiches I've ever had... not only do they have such a plethora of dipping sauces that each and every bite of my clucking delight has a new and distinct flavor... not only are their waffle fries (relatively) healthy and they taste awesome... But the service here is unreal. Honestly, from the moment you step inside the place the staff treats you like a Head of State, or something comparable. I can't remember the last time I was called "sir" so many times in a 3 minute period. Everyone working here is extremely friendly and they do whatever you ask. Well, anything within reason, of course. Hell, they even come by your table to askif you'd like to "have your beverage refreshed". Refreshed! Not a refill, a "refreshment". Goddamn. Here I am, putting up with fast food workers that have accents so thick they could be considered morbidly obese, and staff who toss my food at me on a tray like they're hoping to fry my crotch with hot edibles... and all this time the staff at Chik-Fil-A have existed as these pleasant people. I seriously get better service here than most restaurants where I pay 3x the price. If I have one gripe, it's the they aren't open on Sundays. I get that the founder is hardcore gay for Jesus and all, but I think people deserve to eat this most tasty fowl food 7 days a week. He claims it's because God had a day of rest, but you know what? I come here very frequently, however, I usually only go through the drive through. Today, I decided to sit inside for some reason (with much regret). The person taking my order wasn't very nice. She even took a while filling my drink because she was talking to another co worker. When I finally got my drink and sat down, the food took a little while also- which I don't mind especially knowing it was busy. My friend simply asked one of the workers for a new lid and straw, to which he rolled his eyes at her as he walked away. I did write a complaint to the location and they offered me free food... but really... do I want to show up to the location going, "I'm the person who didn't like your service so I'm here for my free meal"? However, this Chick-Fil-A tends to not be like the rest of the other Chick-Fil-A standards. Once again, after ordering large fries, I received half the order. This happens when you attempt to redeem a reward item. As if it was to make up for the free item you ordered. When I received my fries, they filled it up with the sauce packages. I paid for a large and received a small amount in a large container. Definitely stealing back from your customers and disappointed in this location. I honestly hope the owner of this property sees this because my experience here I feel like should be shared with not only the team at this location but the owner as well. I work at the hotel down the street and decided to go to the drive through today for my lunch break. After ordering food for my partner and pulling up to the next window I realized I had not only forgotten to order food for myself but forgot my wallet at work as well. I felt ridiculous and was extremely embarrassed to have to say I couldn't pay for the food. Still I told the manager at the window and he said "Don't worry about it, its on me" to which I quickly responded, "I will come back and pay I promise!" I quickly drove back to work and grabbed my wallet and then back to Chik-fil-A with close to 15 minutes to spare. I went inside and ordered food for myself and the previous sandwich and asked them to not make it so I could pay for it and gave a brief summary on what happened to the cashier. He had no idea what i was talking about, so I told him just make sure they don't make it and let that guy know ( i think the managers name was Joe) I wanted to pay for it and say thank you! After walking away and watching them talk for a minute, another manager (jeffrey?) came over and said we really appreciated it but you didn't have to do that and gave me a card for a sandwich on them. At this point I've already been wowed by the service as that isn't something you would normally get He then came over with the food I ordered. He handed the bag and let me know both sandwiches were in there and they appreciated me coming back to pay. Long story, The service here really impressed me. The service was outstanding as well as the friendly faces, that can sometimes be overbearing at other locations, being completely on point. This is my new favorite location and you can not only expect me to come over more often but also make sure we recommend our guests looking for good food to come over to you. You never know who you'll meet and good service goes a long way, especially with someone else who works in a similar industry.
