I genuinely thought the location was closed because every area I tried to go through seemed blocked off. For some reason, the portion size at this location in Lake Forest on Portola Pkwy is laughably small compared to other locations. I ordered a chick fila biscuit, but the chicken barely covered half the biscuit and the biscuit isn't even large. Other times, the same issue occurs with the chick fila sandwiches. If I go to the other location down the street in Mission Viejo, the portions are much larger. I'll most likely be dining at the other location from now on. read more

I set my appointment for fasting lab test at Hoag/Quest at this location, So after test I can get breakfast. I was at this Chick-fil-A location because it's so close to the medical offices. While I was waiting for my order inside the restaurant, the manager Mark informed me someone had hit my car. He saw her car hit mine and she was about to leave. Mark had her come to me. We looked at my car and it appeared there was little damage. As this was happening Maria was getting my breakfast ready. Mark and Maria were so helpful and considerate. I have Parkinson's and sometimes things are difficult. When I experience the compassion and helpfulness, I want people to know. Thank you Mark and Maria you blessed my day. I've always liked Chick-fil-A for their food and usually friendly service, but my recent experience left me really disappointed and honestly disrespected. I came in to pick up my free reward and also my wife's order. My wife is recovering from an injury and wasn't able to come in herself. Unfortunately, the worker helping me had a very snooty attitude from the moment I mentioned the reward. She made me feel like I was doing something wrong just by redeeming it. On top of that, she refused to let me pick up my wife's order. There's no option in the app to indicate that someone else is picking up due to a situation like this, so we were basically out of luck. What bothered me most wasn't the situation--it was the attitude. The worker was rude, dismissive, and completely lacked compassion. Chick-fil-A promotes itself as going above and beyond with customer service, but this was the exact opposite. Usually my go to Chick fil a just ran into an issue. I placed a mobile order and picked it up in the drive thru. Noticed they forgot an item and it was already time for me to clock back from lunch. I called to inform them I didn't get this item. I talked to Alexandra and she let me know she could not return that item. Somewhat argumentative in a nice way. There is a worker here that is extremely disrespectful. Girl with tattoos all over her arm, with a head band. "Next time, click that you're here on the app." What if it never showed up?! It showed that I was indeed 'already here', but she assumes that my waiting was my fault? I suppose she was worried that she made me wait, which was not the case. My favorite thing to get here are the bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. Breakfast here is my fav fast food place to go to even though the prices are steeper, the quality of the biscuits are noted. There is just something about this biscuit that brings the other ingredients together to make a great breakfast sando on the run. The bacon they use is also great. The coffee though could be a little better IMHO. I also love their chicken sandwiches however, the chicken sandwich game has risen so much lately, this over priced smaller version has fallen out of my pecking order so to speak although it's still a great sandwich. The waffle fries and amazing assortment of dipping sauces are a very welcomed addition as well as tasty treat. Service here is always great, and the people are so pleasant as they are known for. But I think the reason I probably don't come here as much as I would like is because they are closed on Sundays, and that tends to be the day when I want a cheap and quick tasty breakfast on the go when I'm out and about. Came here around 3pm on a Saturday and I was surprised to see a super long line at the drive-thru. I parked, went inside the restaurant and ordered the seasonal peppermint shake with my brother. There was no line and service was quick. We were in and out much faster than the drive thru line! The peppermint milkshake is a yummy holiday treat with chunks of peppermint pieces. One of the standout items on the menu is the classic Chick-fil-A sandwich, which features a lightly breaded chicken breast served on a toasted bun with pickles. The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, and the bun is soft and fresh. All of these items are made with the same care and attention to detail as the classic. The waffle fries are my favorite, and the lemonade is always. One potential downside of Chick-fil-A is that it is closed on Sundays, but it's nice that they think of your employees. Stopped in this morning for a breakfast meal. Had some time to kill so I elected to dine in rather than take out. And really enjoyed it! The place was clean, quiet and very enjoyable! Quick, pleasant service really started the day nicely. And I am really impressed with the service team. The manager came into the dining area and was cleaning the tables, speaking with guests, offering to refill drinks, and asking if we were enjoying the meals. This manager is a leader! Setting a great example for his team to follow. Very pleasant. Very nice and friendly. Engaging with customers. Making one feel welcomed. I have NO idea how she could butcher this but my sons hate cheese so that was a waste of two sandwiches that I had to scrape off after being charged extra. This Chick-fil A customer service has gone from bad to worse. I am a local and I come to this Chick-fil-A a few times a month. Recently, everything is this store has gone south. Customer service is bad. Today, I have ordered a tray for 10 people to be picked up at 4:30PM. The order wasn't ready at 4:50PM. When I entered the restaurant, I have told a staff in grey shirt named Jana, she treated me like I don't exist. She didn't even go check the order, didn't check the register or kitchen to see if my order was ready. Didn't check the computer or what so ever. Then, after a while I told Jana again that I was there for my order that supposed to be ready and picked up at 4:30PM. Again, she just asked me to wait and continue to talk to other staff. No checking for me. Third time when I asked, she finally went to check the computer screen and couldn't find my order. Finally, a guy named Bryan helped me out with my order. read more

This location has so much potential. The individual workers are nice, but there's usually a really long line. Sometimes there isn't a line, but something happens in the kitchen that holds things up. Guessing this is because if you complain through the app (yes, I was a fan - that's why I had the app), corporate fields the complaint and sends it to the individual store where one of the kids working there (not the owner) answers the complaint. So basically I'm like, yeah, your wait time is unacceptable. Worker: it was 6 minutes. Why don't you try ordering ahead next time? Me: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm 99% sure my wait time wasn't 6 minutes, as cars were piling up and the poor guy at the window as getting really uncomfortable, but since no one goes to the drive thru window with a stop watch, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
