We tried the half-size Strawberry Fields salad, the half-size Green Goddess salad (for a $2.00 upcharge), 1/2 Club sandwich, 1/2 Turkey/Avocado sandwich, pimiento mac & cheese, and the tomato basil soup. Everything was delicious. The Goddess salad comes with their special dressing, which has herbs, spinach, and ranch in it (they explained it to me as a tangy ranch dressing), which was very good. I love this place! It's clean and you get great service. It's so much better than fast food for about the same price, and it's always clean. I love the Italian sandwich and the pasta salad. The food is not cheap but the food is much better than most places in the area unless you like the junk Fort Smith and Van Buren has to offer. Oh, and by the way, even though their menu doesn't say so: all of their sandwiches are served warm! Which I find WEIRD. I ordered the Ham & Swiss sandwich, and after waiting forever, my sandwich didn't even have any cheese on it. I notified an employee and they brought me another half sandwich....but, still just a very, very small piece of cheese? This time it was cold instead of warm however; the bread was awful looking. I didn't even bother trying to eat that white glob of mess. Gross! My husband said his Chicken Tortilla soup tasted good, but it was not hot. Why is it difficult to serve HOT soup? My Mom said her Chef Salad was good, but the dressing wasn't served on the side so the lettuce got too limp, too fast. But, her salad was not worth the high price she paid for it. My husband and I were out and about doing some shopping and decided to try Newk's and we are glad we did! My husband got the French Dip sandwich and Loaded Potato soup and I got the Newk's Q Pizza and a house salad. All of our dishes/sides were very yummy, fresh, and overall enjoyable. We decided to eat outside and it was great. Very clean and the employee who brought our food out to us was very nice and came to check on us a couple times. We will be returning soon! read more

What a nice alternative to fast-ish food, you can get a salad, pizza, sandwiches, soups and much more here. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a build your own pizza which my husband weirdly put cucumbers on lol but it was fresh and delicious. And I ordered the salmon salad with lemon pesto vinaigrette which was prepared perfectly, salmon wasn't over cooked which makes for a tasty meal.
