Food is always great, but what amazes me is that the employees and managers are just outstanding. By far best experience I've had with a restaurant. I eat here pretty frequently and due to work this is my go to option during the week. The employees have literally learned and know me by now. tonight was a very eventful night at this Chick-fil-A. Although the food was hot and fresh and delicious it struggled with their wait times. In addition, I was issued a full refund for my order, but they were hesitant to do so. also, my fruit cup was forgotten, but they quickly resolve that issue. Food is good. Consistent with typical Chick-fil-A. *The service here is exceptionally Slow by usual Chuck-fil-A standards. There were 6 employees on their break at 0800 during a breakfast rush. Seems like this establishment needs some adjustments. I go to Chick-fil-A restaurants around the southeast nearly every day, so my assessment is based on experience of many different locations. We were so excited to have breakfast here this morning before heading to the beach (hadn't had a CFA biscuit in a while) and ended up extremely disappointed. We ordered/ate inside. There were maybe 6 tables in the dining room with people eating-- not super busy. It took about 15 minutes for us to get 2 biscuit meals. That's fine. We're patient. However-- I wanted to show my biscuit. For perspective, this piece of chicken was smaller and much thinner than one of their actual chicken tenders. ALL BISCUIT. We stop for lunch and ordered the #1 combo, the process was professional and orderly. We Re entered the highway and learned the fries were hard. My wife called the store manager and we informed him of our fries. He spoke in disbelief and requested us to return. We had Re entered the freeway and stated we were just letting him know. He continued in which I received has I'm lying. I stopped at the very next store and spoke with the manager who examined the fries. Most of the reviews for this place are not the best but I promise you as someone who's addicted to cfa this is one of the best ones, especially with their chicken minis literally the best minis I've had and the most consistent cfa that makes the minis correct. They are a little slow when it comes to long lines though but if it's empty or not that many cars you can drive right through. read more

No doubt the worst Chik Fila i have ever been to. Chik Fila prides itself in consistency and always making above the top food. Every time i have ordered something from this specific Chik Fila, they either forget the toppings for my salads for my wife and I, I order something like cookies or a brownie and they wait until i have been waiting 20 minutes to tell me that they are out. I've been to several Chick-fil-A locations. I live 15 minutes away from 3 to 4 locations. This one is convenient to where I work and I came here for the first time for lunch today. I've been here once before, for breakfast, and service was quick and food was good. Today I placed a mobile order. It was very busy in the drive thru but I used it anyways. I should also mention I love pickles. Like, love love LOVE pickles. So I always order extra pickles. I max it out when I order online which is only 6 times extra(not enough) so I'd always ask for "as many as you're allowed to give me" and 9 times out of 10, any location would give maybe 5 pickles(NOT ENOUGH). So today on my mobile order, I ordered my food, maxed out the extra pickles, and then figured I'd try to do the "special instructions" for the first time. I've included a photo of where I said, "Please put a LOT of pickles :)" on my order. I also double checked in the drive thru that they saw my note. So I leave with my food after only about 15 minutes in the drive thru(woohoo!) and go back to work. I take my sandwich out of the bag and I notice that the sandwich looks very...thick. I look at it and realize there's pickle juice dripping from the bag, onto my hand, and the floor. So I open the bag, and hOLY MOLY. This sandwich was THICK WITH PICKLES. SWEET SALTY VINEGAR GOODNESS. The bun was soggy, the pickle layer was thicker than the chicken but tHIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY "EXTRA PICKLES!" I love Chick-fil-A, but this location is the slowest. The minimum you will be in the drive thru line is 20 minutes. I tend to go during what I would think is off hours, but still so slow. I have learned my lesson and go inside now. I'm amazed at how many staff members there are behind the counter just goofing off when the drive thru line is wrapped around the building. This is a bad representation of Chick-fil-A. If you can, go eat at the Oakwood location, they've got it going on!!!!! read more

I have stopped and eaten at this location of Chick-fil-a on multiple occasions over the last year and have remained perplexed at the low rating they have on Yelp. All of my experiences have been nothing less than five-star. I am normally in the area during the lunch time rush and this location is very busy during this period. Parking can sometimes we limited but the adjoining Kroger lot offers plenty of additional space and I typically park here just to avoid getting stuck in the drive-thru traffic which can be substantial. On today's visit, I entered near the end of the huge rush but walked in to find the line extending to the door and several people deep. In any other establishment I would have turned around and left knowing it would take forever to be served but in typical Chick-fil-a fashion the line moved and I was soon greeted by a friendly, smiling staff member who promptly took my order. I grabbed my condiments and found an empty table to the far end of the dining area and it was clean and free of any mess. Before I could be seated my meal was arriving and I sat to eat. From the time I walked inside the door until I sat with my meal, despite the large crowd, I had been there for seven minutes. I have waited to be seated at many places for much longer when they don't have a rush. My meal was hot, fresh and as at any Chick-fil-a it was excellent. My drink was half full and refilled and my empty tray was taken while I was attending to a few emails before getting back on the road. I would not hesitate to stop at this location anytime I am in the Gainesville area. In my experience it has always been EXCELLENT! read more

Overall, the worst chick fil a around. Corporate should step in and fix this mess. When i went, there were not a lot of people in the drive thru or inside. I was able to order inside quickly. However, I, like everyone else waited forever for our to go order. I waited over 20 minutes from the time i ordered until I received my food. This particular restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner. You have to catch it at the right time of day or else the line is extremely long and wrapped around the building. The staff is well trained and the food is always fresh. They have a great American flag hanging out front and plenty of parking for anybody who needs it. There are also several spots for handicap parking. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Gainesville. read more

I placed a mobile order for breakfast at 10:15, arrived to the restaurant at 10:17, by the time I got to the speaker box it was 10:33 and they would not proceed with my order. As I continued through the line because there is no way out, I got a notification and email that my order was ready and a receipt. So I pulled up to the window for the woman to say that there was no way I was charged because she hadn't tendered it, even though I had the receipt pulled up. I've worked at another Chick-fil-a and never experienced anything like this. We always honored things. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Chick-fil-a. I would not recommend anyone go here unless you want to be stuck in a drive through for 30 minutes just to be let down. read more

Chick-fil-a is my favorite fast food place. This location stays busy, so plan ahead. Everyone I've met who works there was nice. Not sure why, but they no longer have decaf coffee, however they do offer free regular coffees for seniors. They tend to run out later in the day, but if you ask them to, they will make you a fresh cup. Yum! read more

Not sure why I keep giving this location more chances. It's so disappointing that a Chick fil a is allowed to be run this poorly, it's a disgrace to the Chick Fil A brand. It took them almost 20 minutes to get my mobile order to me with not a single person in line inside. When I finally got it there was no "sorry for your wait" and they forgot to give me my drinking which had apparently been sitting there the 20 minutes I waited getting watered down. You shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes standing there (after you order) to get some chicken minis on a Saturday morning. I've never been in this drive thru & gotten my food in less than 10 minutes...usually it's 15 minutes or more which is a long, long time to wait in a drive through. This one location needs to fix its problem & service times b/c it's definitely giving Chick-fil-A a bad name. I'll keep driving elsewhere next time I crave chicken. read more

I had a bad experience with the way the staff treated me. Had me park next to dumpsters to wait for my drive through food, had me waiting for awhile until I walked in, they forgot about my food order, had the manager give me my food but got no one's name. I called back to ask, it was Gabby who was a manager on duty. They need a skilled manager to be able to train their team on how to talk to customers and treat people with care. read more
