Called ahead to let the store know we were bringing a bus of hungry boys for ND State Soccer tournament and they said they'd be ready for us. When we showed up the staff jumped into action getting through taking orders and getting food out as quick as possible. Kids even got a free ice cream cone out of the deal. Chick-fil-a you are a friend of mine! I think this CFA is a little sadder than many locations, but it is in Grand Forks so it makes sense. But it's still really nice, because it is Chick and they have high standards. Our food was what you expect and ask for. The worker was nervous but nice, and she also made a really nice (and probably accidental) trick shot into the garbage behind the counter which was really funny. So shout out for that lol. Lastly, they have a small indoor kids playground which I've never seen at a Chick-fil-a before so that was fun. (No I didn't go in it even though I kind of wanted to) read more

I ordered two breakfast bowls, the cheese was melted, it was just solid and clumped together, the hash browns were just sitting underneath the clumped cheese completely soggy and the eggs were sitting on one side of the bowl, clumped together. Love this place. I am mostly vegetarian so I try not to eat any meat but they do have salads and the dream ice cream cone which is the best fast food cone and low fat. The chicken fingers are pure white meat and lightly battered. Nice choice of sauces plus the fil-a sauces. Staff was very nice and kind. It was so packed for lunch but I didn't mind waiting in line. The staff were constantly cleaning and were nice about the fact that I had to bring my bike inside the store bc there was no space on the rack outside and I didn't have my lock anyway. There is always a long line here, but they move at a reasonable pace. Our order is usually correct. I think the waffle fry portions are way too small for the price. Overall, tastes like every other Chic-fil-A. The workers are always friendly which is nice. read more

So you can't really go wrong with Chick-fil-a. I am really glad that they have one of these here and if i'm in the mood for a nice chicken sandiwch, this is exactly where I will always go. I had an offer for some free chicken nuggets so I came here on the last day possible to redeem the offer. While I was here and redeeming the free nuggets, I knew that it was not going to fill me up, so it was more of a side dish for me. I ordered a meal too. The team members working here were always around and offering to get any additional sauces, and check in on how things were with your meal. I had a kid, maybe around 15 years old, come up and ask me how everything was a couple times and wishing me I enjoyed my meal. It was also dinner time and really busy so I was surprised they did that. This is the first time that I was caught off guard at a Chick-Fil-A because when I said thank you to one of the team members, they said "no problem" instead of "my pleasure". Of course Chik-Fil-A is a staple for many of you Yelpers...but here in Grand Forks, it is a way of life. This place is teeming with energy, the girls that work here are literally running to serve curbside, which appears to be 50% of their business. But I opted to eat inside their immaculate dining room, socially distanced (every-other table) from friendly strangers. Im not sure if its because i didn't have to eat my Spicy Deluxe meal through my Los Angeles mandated facial covering, but the food tasted fresher. The meal was all packed in one bag with all the proper sauces and fixins, that i picked up from the counter. I suppose (due to COVID-19) i miss the friendly servers walking up and asking if i needed my drink refilled (refills-another COVID-19 victim), but they all smiled (under their cow-print masks) as they walked by. Each time the food has been average nothing to jump at and nothing to complain about, however today's visit late evening they forgot the other sauces, which is t too bad. But the food was off tonight, the food had a serious over taste of salt and or oil. The waffle fries were soggy and gross. Tried the sweet tea for the first time, I don't recommend it. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a stand-up guy from NC. I don't think he understands North Dakotan workers' disdain for giving good customer service yet (probably because he is so new to the area). A lesson: there is zero competition for jobs or business, so people here believe they don't have to work to keep your business.
