    The papered cookie

I was trying to enjoy a delicious Chick-fil-a cookie, and when I took a bite out I was paper like, I flipped over the cookie and it had a big piece of parchment paper baked into it. I couldn't believe that chick-fil-a, that usually has great quality food, has missed a HUGE piece of paper stuck to the bottom of a cookie. Makes me not want to come back

My husband and I were so excited to try the new honey, pimento and pickled jalapeño sandwich. I was so sad when I opened the container to find the sandwich and was even more sad when I lifted the bun and saw the amount of unevenly distributed cheese on it! My sadness worsened when I saw the measly amount of pickled jalapeños under the chicken. The second sandwich we added pickles which makes the the bottom bun look less bare. We were also missing 4 sauces and both our large fries looked half empty. I am hoping that management will make this right with us so we can continue to frequent this restaurant! We have had missing fries and sauces many other times before however this is the first time I am bringing it up. I did not see an email on the website to get in touch in a more discreet way and I don't want to hurt the ratings with a low star but my true rating of this meal would be 2/5.

This is hands down the WORST chickfila I've ever been to. So bad that the owner, Cheri actually called me on my cell phone on a saturday after I complained. I placed a mobile catered order to be picked up on saturday morning at 830 am. It was for 50 chicken nuggets chilled. My husband went up there at 845 am inside and there was hardly any customers in there. The drive thru was busy as always. He told them the name and the order and the cashier asked the back the status of it. Someone in the back said they were still "working on it". He's texting me and telling me it's still not ready while waiting inside and still being one of the few customers inside. By the time it was 917am I finally called the store to see what was going on. It's been over 30 minutes! I asked to speak to the manager and a girl named Ellie so claims she was the manager got on the phone. I explain to her what is going on. She puts me on hold and gets back on the phone with me and said that they just now gave it to my husband and he just now left. I asked her why did it take so long since it was supposed to be ready at 830. He hangs up on me. Dead air, nothing. I kept calling back and the line was busy. I finally get in touch again and she answers and I asked her why did she hang up on me or put me on hold without letting me know. She told me that I was the one that hung up on her. She said she spoke to her "staff" and they said that my husband told them the order, went to the bathroom, and waited outside for 20-30 minutes and never went back in. My husband came home by this time and I put her on speaker and told him what he said. He said that was a lie and that he never went to the bathroom and never once went outside. What reason would he have to go outside and wait on his own? I told her that was false and I did not appreciate her or her staff lying to me. She told me that the food was ready since 830 pm last night and has been in the fridge. I told her that my husband said that someone in the back said they were working on it so it really wasn't ready yet. She didn't say a word. I called the chickfila customer care team and told them what happened. Within an hour I get a phone call and it was Cheri, the owner of the store. The first thing she does is apologizes and then goes on to say that she did speak to Ellie and that Ellie said she never hung up on me. She said that she also spoke to her staff about the "miscommunication" and how they needed to see how it looked from a customers point of view. I told her I didn't feel like it was a miscommunication and that if someone would of just truthfully explain to me or apologize or tell me whatever is going on we would of honestly been fine with it. But to blame my husband and straight up LIE to try to cover themselves is just wrong. Cheri once again said it was all a misunderstanding and that the food was ready since 630am that morning. I told her that Ellie said it was ready at 830pm the night before so which is it? Either way, why did he have to wait 30 mins for nothing if it was ready? Cheri also goes on to say they are short staffed like everyone else due to Corona virus and the whole pandemic, while I do agree with her, I think lying has nothing to do with the virus or pandemic. Even though she did apologize and called me, it was very insincere. This location is always slow with the drive thru. The staff is never friendly. They have messed up on my order several times. One time I got a cold chicken noodle soup. The location has very low standards and I won't be back at this location.

1/2 empty containers of fries and one was mostly end pieces of potatoes.

Once again I received 1/2 filled containers of fries. Pictures are worth a thousand words... I'm very disappointed. I have brought this issue to their management before via their app. The said they would correct the issue of taking money for a large order of fries, but only giving a small amount in 1/2 empty containers. They're potatoes... really, why be so cheap with your customers. I paid $5 for this great disappointment I've been a customer since they opened this location, but to have such a big problem with giving customers what they pay for is inexcusable.

We were looking for a place just off 85 so we decided to give tropical burger a try. The Pepitos were huge and there was about 6 different types. 2 of my coworkers and I decided to try the pepitos and Endra decided to get the big momma burger. All of our meals had plenty of food. My oblesico pepitos was full of steak, chicken bacon and cheese. It seemed to be missing some flavor and sauce. It was just meat and cheese. For a side I got loaded fries with cheese sauce and bacon bits. The cheese tasted like it came out of a can and the bacon was more like bacon bits than real bacon. I ate the contents of the pepitos with a fork and skipped the bread. They had an interesting menu. I wish I would have reviewed the Yelp reviews before deciding on the pepitos. Thanks!

With that said, I debated on coming to Five Guys after a long day of travel from Honolulu the evening before. That lure of the custom burger that Five Guys knows is often inescapable. As such, I arrived here after 845pm on a brisk and quiet Thursday October night. The restaurant was relatively quiet and empty. Thankfully that they didn't close up at 9pm. The restaurant itself was large enough to hold about 35 ish people at any one time. It was relatively clean and nice ad the same time. My basic order was a cheese burger and large regular fries, since I had already purchased drinks elsewhere along the way to Greenville. The service here was weird, as most of the staff here looked like they were in high school or freshly out of it and working. The entire experience took maybe at most 15 minutes from start to finish. Too bad the location of this Five Guys wasn't closer to the Greenville Marriott. It was probably or felt like 1/4 mile walk from the hotel to the restaurant if not a lil bit more, crossing the parking lot, a grassy hill, a semi busy street that was surprisingly busy at that hour. For the most part though, the experience here at this Five Guys was uneventful. While the service was weird, it was fast, friendly, and pretty cool. The overall experience here at this Five Guys location in Greenville, South Carolina was basic, good, and typical Fast food flavor that you've come to expect from a business like this. This order was basically a take out order and I probably wouldn't have eaten in anyway. Felt creepy dining there after 830pm especially when I'm vacationing nearby in a hotel. That ambiance was definitely not good after 830pm especially when time for closing was quickly approaching. Still, Five Guys makes up for it with its delicious offerings on its menu. It is nice to have this Five Guys in the immediate vicinity when you're staying nearby, most notably the Greenville Marriott here in Greenville, SC. The location was basically perfect. Just need to not be lazy and lounging in your hotel room and grab what you are craving for dinner that night. That basically sums that night for me. And so, if you are staying in the area and craving a juicy custom burger, consider coming to this Five Guys location in Greenville, SC. Might just be the craving talking but, the fix is very real and very delicious! For me, it was just a coincidence since I saw it on the way to the Greenville Marriott. Lucky me. This Five Guys restaurant is located at 3935 Pelham Road in beautiful Greenville, SC. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. I would guess that credit cards are better due to the ongoing Covid 19 thing, but that's just me. As far as parking goes, there's a limited amount of parking here for those who choose to drive here. For me, I basically walked here from the Greenville Marriott, as mentioned above. Not sure about Greenville's public transportation here, but if they do, please use the correct bus routes to get you here. Five Guys is nationally known for their custom burgers. While they're certainly not cheap as to their other national completion, they stand on their own and the taste is grand. Consider Five guys if your travels include a stop here in Greenville, SC. Your stomach may thank you later. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 3.0 stars for the prices. 4.5 stars for the food and 4.0 stars for the service. Support local! B
