I haven't been to Chik-fil-A many times -- maybe five to 10 times in total -- but anytime I have been, they are always packed and there's a wait whether in the store or around the building. I've never visited this particular store before but found myself in this part of town and decided this was the best of the options I had for lunch given the amount of time I had. Wow! The drive-through was so quick. I've never done the drive-through at a Chik-fil-A but this was an incredible experience. The gal who took my order was patient, entered my order correctly, and the man who took my cash was super friendly. Why can't all drive-through places -- whether restaurants, coffee place, or banks -- have people so friendly and efficient? [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ate my meal in the car and then went into the restaurant to wash-up: the restroom was clean and the sink worked and there were papertowels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been to a few other Chick-fil-As: the one in Altoona, one in Lebanon, and I'm sure one or two others, but this was easily the best experience and I was just so wowed by the efficiency of the drive-through and the friendliness of the staff. Also, the food was good: it seemed a smidgen more pricey than other fast-food restaurants but the coke wasn't flat, the waffle fries were fresh and hot and tasted great, and even the chicken sandwich was well-presented despite it being in a box served in a bag in a drivethrough. I'm not much of a fast food person but I'll order nuggets from different places. However, lately I've been completely obsessed with spicy chicken sandwiches, so I set my fast food beliefs aside and pumped myself up for the spicy deluxe sandwich. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. The moment I opened that box, it just looked perfect. That smooth soft bun was calling me. What was between the sandwich was even better. I would say that they do a great chicken sandwich. It has a good amount of heat, nothing too crazy. Pour some chick-fil-A sauce on that and WOW. That is a great sandwich. Also, I don't particularly love waffle fries, but their fries are actually good. Nice fluffy fries and not too crunchy. I hate crunchy fries, so I was surprised that these weren't all crunch. They're opening a Chick-fil-A in Toronto soon, but it pains me to know that line will be long for dayssssss. I love the play area. For a fast food place, my wife and I often get a much better talk in than a more upscale place we visit with our kids. The restaurant is usually very clean, bathrooms are clean and the wait staff (wait, what, wait-staff in a fast-food joint?), is very pleasant. Again, almost more so than a real sit-down dinner place. My wife usually orders through the app, picks the bout up at the counter and joins me at the table to avoid the often loooooonng line. Ok, I hate to admit after hating Chick-fil-A for many years, I love the nuggets. Yes, the grilled nuggets, yes the breaded nuggets and all of those delicious and unlimited sauces for my dipping pleasure...and boy do I dip! All of the sauces!!! I would honestly say this is the best quality fast food place out there. The chicken nuggets are real chicken breast bites, not corn fritters like Mickey D's. The kale salad is an amazing side dish. My biggest complaint is that they don't cook their fries long enough for me. To me they could use 1 or 2 more minutes. By the time they get home they are soggy and meh. The shakes are very good. The restaurant is very clean and they restock the sauces in a timely manner. It's packed almost every Saturday we've been there so the best time to hit them up is during the week. Only had a few issues with staff messing up our order (ordered a breakfast wrap, got a bowl. Tried to use a coupon but the cashier had already rung out our order) As long as you mention you have a coupon BEFORE you order (and don't order the full meal just the single item) they don't seem to have a problem redeeming them. Worst customer service EVER!!!!!!! I have never had a bad experience at a chic fil a...until today. We were traveling and stopped here to get my kids food. I always choose chic fil a when traveling because I order a 30 count nugget meal for my 3 kids to share and ask for 2 extra 30 count boxes to split up the food and the kids have room for a sauce and ketchup. I waited a very long time for the order and when it finally came out there were no extra boxes. I asked the manager for them. She came back with the smallest boxes they have. I told her this wouldn't work for what I needed. She said "I'll ask her but she won't give them to you" I'm assuming "her is the store manager or franchise owner. The "her" lady came over and told me she wasn't going to give me the boxes. (I was so dumbfounded that I didn't even offer to pay for them...which I would have been happy to do!) I explained to her that we were traveling and I always ask for the boxes at every chic fil a I have ever been to all up and down the east coast and it has never been a problem before. She again told me no and that each chic fil a does their own thing. I responded she was the only chic fil a that refused to help me out and that I would be happy to call corporate.
