I was among the first 100 people on the grand opening day, enduring the wrath of a 19-degree wind chill. Raising Cane's did a superb job as far as managing the opening day crowds. First, we were handed lanyards with our placement in the queue. There was a live DJ playing good music. There was a coffee truck serving complimentary gourmet coffees, and they handed out swag like ballpoint pens (very unique), pom-poms, cow bells, koozies, hand sanitizers, sunglasses, and keychains. And for the first 100, you also got a coupon card for a free combo meal and a beanie with a nice embroidery of the Raising Cane's logo. It was also very nice that they allowed people to use the restrooms before the restaurant opened, and even opened the door 30 minutes ahead of schedule. It's much appreciated, especially given the weather being so brutally cold. They also enforced numbered order when the door opened to ensure fairness and orderliness. Very well done! This was the fourth Raising Cane's I've been to, so I'm familiar with their offerings. It is remarkable how chicken fingers seem to be taking over the fast casual food market: In addition to Chick-fil-A, we now have Dave's Hot Chicken and Raising Cane's on Carlisle Pike. Heck, even McDonald's started to promote its new McCrispy Strips as recently as this past May. Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, with chicken fingers being part of its namesake, is definitely in the sweep spot! While its chicken fingers don't have as much kick as Dave's or as crispy as McD's, they are indeed juicy and offer subtle and complex flavors as you consume them with their thick, custom dips. Another standout is their iced tea being part of their fountain drink offering. It's so tasty and addicting. I suspect parking space will be an issue. The back of Denny's parking lot and part of BJ's parking lot behind the gas station are doomed to be taken over by the Crave Brigade!

Stopped by 2 nights in a row - not bad at all! Had the 3 Finger Combo (inside) both times - service was almost instantaneous. Granted since this place is brand-new, I have never seen so many employees milling about the kitchen ..but if the service keeps up, they'll do fine. On to the chicken - I'd almost place it above Popeyes (will have to compare sandwiches) and right up there with Bojangles (which sadly you won't find in this area). I'll definitely add to my drive-thru rotation ;)

Chicken sandwich. Soggy with lukewarm fries. I was one of the first customers on opening day.

As a new canes customer, on opening day, they wanted me to drive around the drive through to collect my 39 cents for cane sauce that I ordered at the pick up window. Went in on opening day. Didn't know what canes was all about. As one of their FIRST customers at 10:30AM The line was short so we got our order pretty fast. They asked what kind of sauce we wanted. We didn't know what they had. We completed our orders which was a caniac meal and a sandwich combo with drinks. When we went to the payment window we asked what kind of sauces they had, but music was blasting too loud inside. We went to the pick up window and asked again what kind of sauces they had...Extra loud. 2x over the music. They mentioned 2 sauces and we asked for cane sauce. .39 cent up charge. A little annoyed by that, but fair. Husband pulled out a dollar. Handed it to the window guy. Guy at window said we had to go around the drive through line again to order the sauce and make the payment. What the actual fudge!?! We obviously complained and they said they couldn't help. It's launch day, give us a good experience. Make it happen. Take a .39 cent loss if it's that difficult for you. We left and parked, started to eat our food. No forks for our slaw. No straws for our drink They forgot ti pass us our 2nd drink. Luckily we keep disposable take out food forks in our vehicle. The lemonade was yummy. The chicken was just OK. Mine was kinda soggy any husbands was hot and fresh. Our fries had been out of the frier for at least 30 mins as they were lukewarm This is on opening day. They are gonna get a lot of upset people. Way better than Dave's hot chicken but chik-fil-a is a more consistent experience. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Today was test day, I was able to get one free drive thru meal. Meal included four tenders, fries, coleslaw, toast and a drink. Food was hot and fresh. Employees did a good job.

If you haven't been before, the vibe at Raising Cains is fun - think disco balls and Elvis art with a crown on top. The counter folks were all friendly, and I wasn't expecting that they would deliver food to our table, but they did. The food at Raising Cains was good, but didn't live up to all the hype for me. No complaints about the food, it was good. But my expectations were fairly high after hearing lots of folks talk about it. The chicken was crispy and not greasy as fried food can be. The fries were good -not soggy and not overcooked. I'm still assessing my thoughts about the sauce. I didn't feel like I was overwhelmed by the taste, but I did keep going back to it and dipping my fries and chicken in it until it was all gone. So maybe I liked it more than I realized? I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars. This was a 35 minute drive for me, so I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to do this again because of the distance. But we had a good meal here and a pleasant experience.

Not my favorite burger, kinda bland, tastes like there's no seasoning and that's with ketchup, mustard and wayback gold sauce, but if BOGO and we only have $15 it's worth it to get sometimes. We tried the pickle chips & they were also ok, not great. We've both picked up there & had it delivered and the food is always a tad bit soggy. The employees are kind however, and it is never a long wait for food. Had to add: the cajun tots are SO yummy!! but not worth the $7

To be fair, delivery takes a toll on this kind of food. I ordered a burger and tots. Lady Matilda…read moreordered the same but with different toppings. I tend to go with meat, cheese, mushrooms, and a light combo of ketsup, mayo, and mustard. There's usually just enough of those three sauces that I can scoop it off the sides with my tots. I grade on a curve when I can't interact with a restaurant about my food complaints, but I do believe that restaurants that deal with UberEats and DoorDash should pay special attention to those orders that leave their store because they seem to be the ones at highest risk of being unsatisfactory. The tots come in cardboard which keeps them warm and crispy during transport. Most other orders, especially in plastic, arrive lukewarm and soggy. But these basic tots were warm and tasty. They also provide a healthy portion. No complaints. Nothing special, but then that's far better than most delivery tots and fries. The burger was less impressive. For a "burger joint" the meat was not particularly special. It was flavorful but overwhelmed by the excessive sauces pouting over the side, the ketsup extra acidic to linger on my tongue and back of my throat for a long time. There was no need for the dozen packets they threw in the bag with our order. For mushrooms, I expect grilled mushroom slices, not a stingy helping wet chunks. I had to come back to mention the cheese because I'd forgotten all about it. The burger didn't taste BAD, but it tasted like the person making it was inexperienced or impatient. Finally, as this was not the first order (Lady Matilda loves this place) I admit it is not typical but also spotlights that our orders are inconsistent. Other burger places will provide consistent product. This is probably the least impressive order. It has been great in the past, but I can't say when the best time is to get the best product. Let me know if you have advice.
