They were served flat on the hot plate. All the ingredients and sauces on the tacos made the corn tortilla shell soggy, to the point where I couldn't pick up any of my three tacos at all and had to eat them with a fork and knife. Each taco had 2 grilled shrimp, which were delicious, but they really need to be plated differently or served as a double tortilla shell so you can actually eat them. It came with a side of black beans/pico, which I was SO excited about, but my side dish of beans was mostly juice and maybe only 3 forkfuls of actual beans. You're only given a fork and a knife in your silverware, so I couldn't even try to make the best of it. I would've asked for a spoon, but our server didn't check on us for refills or anything once the food was dropped off. I will say - my husband got the steak and egg bowl and it was DELICIOUS. The steak was so tender and juicy and perfectly cooked, as were the potatoes. I do think it was a smaller portion for the price, but we both loved his dish. I'd definitely come back for that. He finished eating before me because I was struggling to eat tacos with a fork, but we still waited a while after we finished to get a small box and our check. Overall, we'd maybe come back, but it seems hit-or-miss based on what you order and who your server is. One drink and two entrees were $50, so we'd likely choose another spot before stopping here again.
