So I've been undecided on sending a review but I think the management needs some upgrades. I've been here several times over the months and my orders have been wrong. There is several things that needs to be changed from the order food line to the inside orders. It's not the workers it's management, it starts at the top. Your team is only as good as your leadership and your leadership is only as good as your management. Set expectations high at the beginning and you want be disappointed with your team. Except nothing lesser from them and you will have good service. Food is top tier can not take that away. Management needs some work and improvements. We came in when it was pretty busy, so I wasn't expecting the workers to be able to work as fast as usual, but I am so disappointed in the service. The food came out in a timely manner, but when i walked up to the counter for a few sauces i had multiple workers walk right past me without asking what I needed. Half of them were restocking so they could leave, leaving only 3-4 workers to do all of the work. When I needed a refill, it took about 5 minutes and 10 workers to ignore me until i was able to get one. The "ambiance" felt like they were annoyed and ready to go home. I understand being busy and getting ready for shift changes, but I've never felt energy from employees like i was just a bother the way i did today! I don't think the restocking and shift changing duties should be done in the middle of a rush, and definitely not with attitude! read more

My family and I are frequent visitors. This location like most businesses struggled during the pandemic. There was a noticeable decline in customer service more than anything. The past few months I think they've closed the gap. Seems to be a good staff that's friendly, personable and will do anything to make sure you're satisfied. We recently dealt with catering and were blown away by Cathy Kramer and that team. We highly recommend this Chick-fil-A for a regular fast food Friday night or a catering event. read more

Over the last two years the service and workers have always been nice and good. But the drive through takes 30 minutes minimum every time. Today I had to wait in line for 50 minutes. As a mom of a young boy, we have visited our fair share of Chic fil A locations. They tend to always have superb customer service, the food is always consistent, and the drive thru time is limited. Unfortunately, this location was not like most. The drive thru time was extensive for unknown reasons. When we got to the ordering speaker box, the employee was less than enthused to be at work and she clearly made it noticeable in the tone she used. When we got to the drive thru window, a different young girl was much more pleasant to speak with, but our order was incomplete. Unfortunately, we did not notice until we arrived home and by that time, we didn't have the desire to return. I completely understand that the majority of employees working for this location are either high school- or college-aged people. Very disappointed by our visit. We stopped while driving through town. They would not let us inside to use the restroom. The lady taking our order asked us the same questions multiple times and then still didn't get it correct. We pulled over into the empty parking lot (except those people in the drive thru). We got out of our car to eat our meal quickly in the parking lot. The manager came out and asked us to leave telling us it was that we could not eat on property because of the mayors regulations. I'm not sure what covid regulations say you can't eat in the parking lot more than 30 feet from the next person or car. We drove by multiple restaurants that were open for dining in and some that had people eating outside. To top it off, the fries were cold and a bit soggy. I'm a lover of Chic Fil A, and always try to find one when on the road traveling as it is my go to for fast food. This location in Hattiesburg is I think the best I have been to. I put in my order at the counter and before I even walked away to wait they already had everything ready for me. I know Chic Fil A is always fast, but I can't remember a time when I received my order this fast! The food was also warm and fresh as always and no different. The staff was friendly and returned the "my pleasure" when I thanked them( I always check to see if they'll say it). I'll make a note to always stop here when back in the area. Chic Fil A will never get my business again! I've been going here quite often because the location is really convenient to my job. Lately, it's been a drag pulling up to this establishment. It's constantly a long wait in the drive thru. Please be prepared for a 15 minute or longer wait before placing your order. Ridiculous!! After the long wait and your order is placed your food is incorrect, super soggy fries, very salty fries and rude staff!!! I finally had enough after waiting in line 10 minutes on my lunch break and getting to the window to pay; and the window worker stated how can I help you? I was like how can you help me I'm confused. She stated what did you order we don't have it? They didn't hear you? Pause, how did they not hear me after I had a response after I ordered this... they asked what kind of drink and sauces with the meal. But yet y'all didn't hear me?! How inconsiderate I've waited minutes and I get to the window and you don't even have the courtesy to apologize? Retake order? Never again!! I'm done with Chic Fil A! I have never received such terrible customer service from a Chick-fil-a in my life!! I realize we are in the midst of a pandemic, but this Chick-fil-a has been like this since I moved to Hattiesburg 3 years ago. First off, service is SUPER slow and that speaks low for a Chick-fil-a. I honestly could have went to another fast food restaurant and had a faster wait time. Now don't get me wrong the food is outstanding but being treated like you are less than is a disappointment. Here's where my review is going. I have had several instances of terrible customer service here, but in a matter of 7 days, I have had terrible service twice. The cashier and I am assuming manager was horribly rude to me. I wish I would have caught there name and the one sweet girl that did everything to help me despite them practically telling me I was lying about the rewards they had just scanned to redeem. Once again, I give this store a lot of my money despite the several flaws compared to other Chick-fil-a's. I sat in a held up line because they were trying to tell me that I was practically lying about my redeemed chicken minis then the second visit a redeemed diet coke. It was as easy as me looking up past redeemed rewards to get them to quit saying we need $2 and whatever scents over and over again for them to finally give me the drink when I proved that I had redeemed it and then not apologize for the way they treated me after I obviously was NOT lying. The fact that the worker didn't ask me to do that from the start of me sitting in line arguing with them for 7 minutes was ridiculous like how do you not know by now if your machines are off to tell your customers to look up their past redeemed rewards so that they can prove they are not trying to just get free food. It's like the manager or whoever she was just wanted to argue both instances. They blamed it on their new system but that gives no excuse to treat a customer so rudely when they give you so much of their time and money. I also apologized for getting stressed and catching a bit of an attitude but received nothing in return except a rude smirk. You can't beat their prices and quality of food. I've been here quite a few times, and let me tell you, there's a reason it's always packed. Fast food doesn't have the best reputation, and for good reason. That's probably one of the reasons people love Chik-fil-a, because it's easily a step ahead of everyone else. Their food always tastes so fresh, and from what I've seen, it's all made to order. My favorite meal here is the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe with pepperjack cheese. I love it so much that I could eat it just about everyday! Oh and next time you order some nuggets or french fries, get some Polynesian sauce. It's so good! My boyfriend and I can eat here for only $13 for both of us, which isn't bad at all. And yes, that includes drink. So, if you're on a budget but you want to eat out, give Chik-fil-a a shot. By far the rudest service we have ever had at any Chic Fil A. The young lady serving us never smiled and was just rude while taking our order. She took my name for my order then when the second young lady delivered our food never called my name just walked around the dining area, and on her second trip around she called my name and when I acknowledged her she proceeded to tell me next time leave the red sauce holder at the end of the table so it was easier for her to find me .... if the young lady that took our order wasn't so rude and uninterested in my business and would've told us to leave the red container at the end of the table, we would have. Kids these days are just rude and I feel bad for business owners whose businesses depend on these young people to represent their brand and livelihood. Don't know why anyone has posted negative reviews here. I've been going here twice a week for 6 years. Never had any of the issues mentioned in the negative comments excepts sometimes young cashiers (often high schoolers) getting nervous when there's a lot of customers, and it says a lot for this location and staff that they get flooded with customers. All of the managers and staff are always friendly and welcoming and eager to serve you. They are also typically well trained and serve you quickly and efficiently, save the occasional "first day" instance which happens at ANY business anywhere. So don't mind the negative nancies. Me thinks maybe grudge holders or competitors making stuff up. The owners are also very involved in the community and taking care of people, especially military and law enforcement. Really easy to support someone like that. read more
