Where do I start, I got a regular cheeseburger, so maybe that's where I went wrong, but I'm not sure. The bread was hard and stiff I think it was stale and the burger itself had no flavor whatsoever. I can make a better burger at home. The thing is, I've had Five Guys before in Louisiana, and I really liked it. Just an average burger definitely not worth the price they're charging. For the smaller burger with tax it comes out to $9.34. You can go to Sully's and get a burger of better quality at an includes french fries for about the same price. Solis is definitely a step up from Five Guys fast food burger. Way too expensive for the quality of food. The service was good. The people were friendly. They did not look like they were very busy which means the food is probably getting old. First time at five guys in this location. We have been once before back home. Staff was friendly and the place was busy. You could tell they were slammed because the place was a little dirty, tables not wiped down, etc. Ordered the lettuce wrap bacon cheeseburger which was good. Extremely messy but good. Lady who helped recommended I add some Cajun seasoning to it. I did and it was nice! Fries were a little greasy according to my kids. Worth the price of the name on the sign? Hamburgers had no seasoning. :(. Prices are high and they ask what kind of fries and drink you want with it so you think it's a combo the way they present it. A small fry is $5.40 and drink is another $3.00. So this marketing ploy adds $8.00 plus to each burger. It was an expensive lunch with almost no taste. Very disappointing. We couldn't decide what to eat so we thought to give this place a try. Smells delicious at the initial walk in. You stand in line and order your food. Free peanuts as your appetizer. Free refills and free toppings for your burgers. I got a bacon cheese burger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and grilled jalepenos. It was good but not great. I loved the free toppings tho! Fries were pretty good. Hand cut so there's no freezer taste to it! Always a plus! Would love a side of hot cheese sauce for my fries! That would bump this review up to 5 stars. read more

I've been hearing a lot about this place since it opened and we finally made it by. Overall I would say I was not as impressed as I anticipated. We are the first timer. We took sometimes to look at their menu. It was not difficult at all. Once we knew what we want, we placed our orders. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Not too many people in the cooking area, so we could easily took a peek on the food prep. I love their burger patty. It was fresh!! Not frozen patty like other burgers joint. I ordered Little Burger with mayo, lettuces, grilled onions, grilled mushroom, grilled jalapeno. It surprised me that the jalapeno was fresh not pickled. Give my burger more flavor, Love It!!! My hubby's ordered Little Burger all the way. It means with all the toppings they offered in black letters. We loved their fries as it's still has the skin on. Fries taste good. Talk about absurdity bordering on feckless! The Hattiesburg 5 Guys has pickles "covered" as a condiment. That's right, no pickles. They say they're out; won't have any more till January. I suggested going to a local grocery and buying some pickles. Unfortunately, 5 Guys management instructs their "crack" local crews that they can only buy pickles, should they run out, from Krogers. This one is not run as well as most Five Guys stores I've been to when visiting other states. The burgers are still pretty good, but they could do better, especially considering the cost. The fries are the real rip off. At other Five Guys they give you a very large helping that contains almost as many fries loose in the bag as in the portion cup (heaven knows you are paying for it), but this location gives you a sub-standard helping that barely fills the little cup while the prices are the same as any other Five Guys. read more

For a burger joint, this place is pretty good. I was warned not to order too large a fry. You get double the fries! I mean there's a cup full of fries, and another cup in the bottom of the bag. I won't go so far as to say that they have the best burgers, but they are pretty good. I was surprised when I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger and it was close to $8. Their burgers are kind of small, and for 4-6 bucks more, I could have gotten a bigger bacon cheeseburger at Cheddars, Applebees or any number of restaurants along with some fries. I should have paid closer attention to the price before I ordered it. Anyway, I've been here a few times now and the staff is always super friendly. I do like the fact that they offer a wide variety of toppings for their cheeseburgers and hot dogs. In addition to this, they have a great selection of soft drinks to choose from too. I do think they're a little overpriced for what they serve (of course, I'm originally from California and have a bad habit of comparing every burger joint to In-N-Out or the Habit Grill), but they're food is yummy and I always leave feeling full. read more

Ate here for lunch with my husband and kids. The place was packed, but service was fast and accurate. Very fun and lively atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. They even had the cool Coca Cola drink machines with all the options (I forget what they are called). I had the bacon cheeseburger with several toppings and received it in about 4 minutes exactly as I ordered it. Very tasty burger, much better than typical fast food. Driving around and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Based on all of the signage I was really expecting something extraordinary. Unfortunately, it was not. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger ($7) and a regular drink. My husband ordered a regular hamburger ($9), small fries and regular drink. Was a little surprised when the bill came to almost $28. The cheese was almost non-existent on my hamburger and the patty was smaller than the bun, very thin and very dry. Not juicy as stated on the sign behind the counter and I am not sure ketchup and mustard would have helped. The only thing that saved it was the bacon. Really need to fire this crew (5pm 12/28/15) and start over-walked in-only customers in store-were totally ignored by 5 employees who were playing or staring thru us or talking on phone. Finally ordered. Got stale, cold fries, sad burgers and the drink machines were out of all flavors of Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, and all Cherry Vanilla flavored drinks. Then found that the 2 giant ketchup dispensers were empty. Asked mgr for ketchup-she acted like I was an idiot and couldn't see the dispensers. No, you're the idiot, it's the beginning of dinner rush and you don't have the store prepared. Then we sat to eat and a girl began pushing trash cans thru the dining area. To top it off I went to restroom and it was repulsive. This place has lost its luster. Not worth it anymore. Owner needs to clean house or lose business, esp with a new burger place coming to town.
