It's been months since we went out for Chick-fil-A, so it was time for a visit. Not to mention they sent us a free sandwich to remind us of what we'd been missing. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly as always and the food was that wonderful, familiar taste we missed. The boys got their shakes to top it off and everyone was 'full, fat and happy!'

    Medium fries

Placed dinner order and only to find out once we get home that the order was missing an entree and fries were half portioned (see pic the picture of the medium fries). Seems like the quality of service and QC is really lacking at this location.

It's great having one so close and if you're a fan, the food is consistent with other Chick Fil A.

The bar itself is small with an even smaller stage, but where it lacks in size, it excels in everything else. There are clearly a good amount of local regulars that go there and for good reason. It feels like a place that will remember your name after one visit. The alcohol selection seemed decent (I can't say for sure as I am always happy with cheap beer) and although I didn't try the food there, my bandmates said that the hot dog was really good and the birria grilled cheese is to die for. I will make sure I go back and try them both! If you are looking for a good time at a local bar with good people, Papa's Public House is your place! Oh, and maybe catch me playing a show there on Friday!

Olivia did an outstanding job taking care of us, and Phil was excellent as well. We were hoping to see Murph, but maybe next time! I had the all-you-can-eat wings, and they were fantastic. My wife ordered the hamburger, and she really enjoyed it. Between the great food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving Papa's Public House a try!

The appetizers alone are worth the visit, do not skip the spicy tuna crispy rice cakes (perfectly balanced with just the right kick), the edamame (simple but elevated), and the hamachi, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. I am still dreaming about that spicy tuna crispy rice cakes!!! The cocktail menu deserves its own spotlight. The rosé spritz was light, refreshing, and dangerously easy to sip, while the margaritas were perfectly crafted and bright, balanced, not overly sweet. Cocktail presentation was A+! The Tajin rim on the margs...next level. For the main course, the salmon was nothing short of perfection, cooked flawlessly and paired with the not-to-be-missed cilantro lime rice, which honestly deserves its own fan club. Absolute chef's kiss. And let's talk sushi, because wow. The mango tango roll was vibrant and flavorful, the torched salmon roll melted in your mouth, and the atomic roll brought just the right amount of heat. Each roll was as beautiful as it was delicious!! Our only regret? Not saving room for dessert. Apparently, the bread pudding is the talk of the town, and after everything else we experienced, we have zero doubt it's as incredible as everyone says. Bottom line: if you haven't been to Smokin Fins yet, go and go hungry. You'll already be planning your next visit before you leave!!

Today's visit to this location of Wahoo's Fish Taco exceeded my expectations so I must write about…read moreit. Firstly, Wahoo's used to be my and my daughter's favorite restaurant (like 15 years back or so.) As we grow older, the test of time comes with waves of changes in our lives. I don't remember when our passion for this casual seafood taco place diminished completely where we simply stopped going. It's as if it fell into oblivion without a trace. Our go to location was the one on I-25 and Hampden. Right, it's no longer there and that could easily be why our stopping to go. This, especially for me, might be an excuse because my work (which I go in for 2 days a month ever since COVID) is only a stone's throw from this location in Highlands Ranch which I can casually walk to with no significant effort. Today happened to be one of those in-office days. I skipped lunch but at around 2:45pm or so, getting me a bowl of protein rich food (all of a sudden) hit me. After browsing where to go for such food, Wahoo's came up in my search. And after browsing more than a handful of photos uploaded on Yelp, some dishes looked so appealing. A little after 3pm, I walked over to it as I was getting quite hungry. Some past diners posted photos of what's called "Paleo Bowl" or something like that. Upon being greeted by one of the workers at the ordering counter (by the way, she was very welcoming!!) I inquired about it to which she said "Oh, it's now called Protein Bowl". Aha! That makes sense. Without any further thought, I wasted no time to order it. For this bowl, you pick two proteins of your choice. I went with fish and tofu. The total after tax was about $17 with sone change. Not bad. Within the next 10 minutes, my food was ready. The same pleasant lady handed me my food and off I went to go back to the office. I didn't immediately eat it. i actually ended up waiting until I got home to eat it. When I finally sat down at my dining table it was a little past 4:40pm. My super late lunch/early dinner finally started. And oh wow, this bowl is no joke about protein. There is absolutely no carbs or whatsoever in it. Besides the two proteins, there were only veggies such as broccoli etc. Absolutely a guilty free meal for sure. Well seasoned with just the right amount of salt, the dish will be a perfect meal to eat after workout. Sorry Wahoo's, I have forgotten about you for such a long time! I am so glad that I rekindled my love for you today! With the great service, great food and clean dining room, I was enlightened to say the least.
