I came here to quickly eat with my friend but what we didn't know was that we were going to end up having to wait 35 minutes to get her food. No that is not an exaggeration. When we went inside they told us to sit at a booth and order there. My friend ordered first, and then i did. How i got my food first? I don't know. The quality of service at this Chick-fil-A is consistently declining at peak hours. I don't know if they are short staffed or what but I could've gotten in line for the drive thru and gotten my food quicker than I did at curbside just now. I just left from this place. There were numerous young employees working outside BUT it's sad that it takes so many people to be so incompetent! My order was taken, I paid for it in cash. I asked for a receipt and was told that it would be in the bag. I get to the window where there were another large group of employees who seemed confused and dazed.There was a red placard placed on my car door with my order #. A young lady received a bad from inside the window I reached for the bag but she looked at me and walked to the car behind me. I saw her give the bag to the person who opened the bag, reached into it and handed the bag back to her. She then came to me and tried giving it to me but I asked for a different one. GO TO THE SUMMERWOOD LOCATION IF YOU CAN! This location messed up my order which is completely fine because mistakes happen. I had a 8 piece chicken nugget with a milkshake. They gave me 3 piece chicken strip and the milkshake was yellow and chunky. I've ordered the milkshakes enough to know how's it supposed to look and taste, it was off. I only came to this location Bc Summer wood drive thru was unavailable. I wasn't going to bother to fix the order since I was already home but then I saw the milkshake and decided to come AFTER calling the store a few times and there being no answer. A young blonde lady in a Texans hoodie was "assisting"me and she continued to say "it's just ice cream how is it supposed to taste bad?". Seriously?! Just fix the order! I brought it with me for proof too. I work in customer service so I know it's frustrating when customers yell at you for a mistake so I was VERY polite to her. I'm giving this location 3 stars because I want to believe the staffing issue is because of Covid but good grief. I love Chick-fil-A. Worked there for my first job and get it a few times a week. This Chick-fil-A has two or three incredible employees and the rest are terrible. Every time I order I feel like I'm inconveniencing them by ordering food. I feel like I need to apologize for being hungry. And they almost always forget something. Fries, sauces, salad dressings, sometimes an entire meal. When you ask for the things you order, the employees second guess you, and look annoyed that you're asking for what you paid for. Out of all the locations I've been to, this is the worst. I come here 2-4 times a month since it's closest to my house, and my son is always begging for chick fil a. This is the worst chick fil a EVER. Unfortunately I have no other choice unless I want to drive all the way to kingwood. They forget something literally every single time. My husband and I keep a tally, and so far they have only gotten our order correct 1 time. In my humble opinion, Chick-Fil-A has perfected the fried chicken sandwich. If you've never experienced it - it's simple: one breast of chicken fried on a toasted buttery bun with sliced dill pickles. You are free to add condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup) after the fact but it's served meat on bun with pickles and that's it. Simple and done well. I always get extra pickles, but that's my preference. You can opt for lettuce + tomato for an up-charge but if you want to go healthier, stick with the char-grilled chicken. It's the same concept (chicken, bun, pickles) but with one third the fat. And if memory serves, you can get a toasted wheat bun for the sandwiches at a small charge too. I've never been charged for the switch but I imagine some places would charge for the switch. They also sell a variety of salads, chicken soup, wraps, chicken strips, and my mum's favourite their little nuggets. If it's chicken, they'll probably serve it in some form. No matter what you choose as your main, do not (I repeat) do NOT miss the opportunity to order their waffle fries to accompany your sandwich. These addictive things are crispy on the outside and tender inside with the skins on... so good. Grab a lemonade and you are set. I remembered that they sell breakfast sandwiches of all variety as well. I've never had their breakfast sandwiches at this location have had them previously at another location. They offer the usual egg + breakfast meat on biscuit but who knew chicken-on-a-biscuit would taste so good in the morning? Order one of those with their hash browns (like smashed little tater tots) and you have a breakfast! Not exactly health food first thing in the morning but again, not something to have every day. One last note - all locations are closed on Sunday. According to founder S. Truett Cathy, "Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God and directing our attention to things more important than our business. Unlike other drive-through fast food restaurants, the location in Atascocita, Texas (19220 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Humble, TX 77346) is outstanding. The food is always wonderful and their staff are the nicest people. If I go through at lunch time, I see a huge line! But don't let that fool you! They have several people taking orders outside and the line moves fast for their diligence. I love their food and I love this Christian Company.
