    Stacked Wild Mushroom Enchiladas

The food service and drinks are always a hit! we had the stacked mushroom enchiladas and the crispy veggie tacos, the tacos did end up a little soggy and falling apart by the time we got to the last one but otherwise delish! not a fan of the rice here( it taste kind alike a pilaf rice ) I love how they advertise the local establishments that they work with to source the things they use here. full bar avaliable!

Came for a midweek lunch and I ordered the Jamaican jerk salad. It had a ginger dressing which complimented the flavor of the chicken nicely. The other member of my party ordered the club sandwich with sweet potato fries and it looked delightful and she didn't have any complaints flavor wise! Our server was prompt and courteous. I look forward to returning and trying some different menu items next time.

As usual, this place is just amazing. This time we had tyler as a server. And he was outstanding, one of the best servers that we've had here. Also, i'm pretty sure every single one of them is like this, but he stood out more than the last person did

CFS looked better than it tasted.

Went for dinner tonight. The place is new and cool just like all other locations. Service was very quick and maybe a little too quick. My wife ordered Chicken enchiladas and she thought they were just ok. She thought they were also not very warm even though they came out quickly. I ordered the CFS and it look delicious when it was delivered and tasted good but have had much better. The breading quickly fell of the steak and the steak was very well done. The mash potatoes were great. Hope we just caught them on a bad night. Will try again next time in the area.

Delicious! Every dish we tried did not disappoint. The Mexican coffee (alcohol) was a bit strong so we had to add more coffee to it. The staff was welcoming the moment we walked in and our server was efficient and checked in on us the right amount of times.

Not sure how new this location is but it's kind of hard to find as it's tucked away in a shopping center off the main road. A lot of businesses are for lease in the shopping center and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they are nearby. As for the restaurant, very open spacing (love that), beautiful decor, amazing service, amazing food! You cannot go wrong at blue corn. The ingredients are fresh and the quality is better than most food places.

I have been eyeing this place for a while and decided to try it. Still celebrating my birthday month, I wanted to try something new. It's the perfect size, family friendly, but there is also a bar to sit and watch the games. The servers are informative and attentive. Everything that we ate was delicious. So good, that we even ordered extra food to take home. Looking forward to visiting again.

Meatloaf - very unique, almost more like Salisbury steak, very good still.

Delicious as always! Fried fish tacos are a go-to. Meatloaf is very good (8/10). Frozen margarita is strong and delicious - great consistency.

The vibe was very cool. Our server was very attentive and respectful! The food gave me New Mexico flavors. At least the steak burrito I ordered did. It was pricey but worth it. The margaritas were on point!

Family- and group-friendly place with good energy at the dinner hour. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Main pros: - seasoned homemade guacamole appetizer - fried oysters with tangy and slightly spicy aioli - smothered beef burrito that was full of tasty beef and fillings - friendly, attentive service - several local beers on draft - generous portion of sautéed local fish with well seasoned gravy Cons - the vegetable rice on the platters wasn't the classic Spanish/Mexican rice and didn't match the rest of the food Overall, an excellent experience!

Came here an hour and a half prior to closing and had a great experience! Our server was very kind and efficient. Everyone enjoyed what they got and I would definitely go back.

Quick service, friendly staff. We came for brunch and everything was delicious and hot. The chicken and waffles wasn't exactly what I was expecting since it was chicken fried chicken but still great. The chorizo breakfast relleno was amazing and I had never seen it on the menu before (I've only been to the cedar park location) and I'll definitely be getting it again. I also had never seen a popsicle mimosa but I had to try it (got it with mango purée) and it was delicious. Absolutely will come again for brunch, and look forward to coming for dinner as well soon!

All the small touches, outstanding service, and delicious food made for a great experience. Everything is from scratch and so good. The staff was very warm and friendly, holding doors and joking with us. If I lived closer I would 100 be a regular but this will be a must eat place when I'm in town.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

This charming, quaint boutique hotel is located in a residential neighborhood in Round Rock, TX. The Ruby Hotel & Bar is situated along Brushy Creek in historic downtown Round Rock. The hotel has 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, in the suburbs of Austin, TX. The hotel blends mid-century modern design with natural surroundings, creating a chic vibe. The property is distinctly divided into to major buildings...the hotel and the bar. There is a random small building up front also...not sure what that buildings for. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!

The Bichota cocktail was a standout--sweet, refreshing, and with just enough of a kick to keep you sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned was equally impressive: sweet yet balanced, served in a stylish glass with a unique holder that made the experience feel elevated. For food, the chicharrón with fried yuca and tostones was perfection. The pork was fried to a crisp golden shell without being greasy, and seasoned just right--not too salty, but enough to make every bite crave-worthy. The yuca and tostones were cut to the perfect thickness for even cooking, with a satisfying crunch outside and tender inside, especially when dipped into their garlicky sauce. The cheese sticks are an absolute must-have--crispy outside, oozy inside, and dangerously addictive. And the arepas? Exceptionally good--stuffed with beans, cheese, beef, and sweet plantains for that perfect salty-sweet balance. Every plate showed attention to texture, seasoning, and presentation. Price Considering the quality of ingredients, creative plating, and generous portions, the prices felt fair for a fusion dining experience. The cocktails were crafted with care and worth every penny. Appetizers could easily be shared, making it easy to get variety without breaking the bank. Environment We sat outside and it was amazing for groups, dates, and inside it is super cool. The décor is not fancy but really fun Austin style. There is a section bar where they play music which I want to try. Service The service was cool and amicable. It looks the server was new but he did give recommendations. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great pairing suggestions. Dishes came out at a good pace, and drinks were refreshed quickly. You could tell the staff was proud of the food they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. Overall: If you're looking for a place where Latin flavors meet creative execution, this spot is worth the visit. Come hungry, order a mix of small plates, and don't skip the cocktails--or the garlic sauce.

Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

My husband had a combination platter with all the favorites - enchiladas, taco, and a tamale, which he thoroughly enjoyed. It's a little overpriced for what it is but it gets the job done. FAST FACTS: * Parking - lot out from of the building with plenty of spots * Happy Hour - couldn't find updated days and hours but they do have HH specials * Lunch specials from 11 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday SERVICE - We arrived around 6:30 pm on a Monday and they weren't busy at all (although it was Cinco de Mayo and they got busier as the night went on). We were seated right away and had complimentary chips and salsa brought to the table immediately (they're very mediocre). Our server, Fatima, made sure we had refills throughout the meal and the food came out quickly. PRICING - The total was $65.45 after tax ($4.99) but before tip for a Burros queso ($10.49), shredded chicken quesadilla ($14.99), Javier's plate ($17.49), and carne asada ($17.49). For basic Tex Mex, it seemed a little overpriced but the portion sizes are good. BURROS QUESO (6/10) - This is a basic chili con queso... it's topped with ground beef, guacamole, and pico but not much. I don't think I'd order this again because it isn't worth it for the price... I'd rather just order a small chili con queso. SHREDDED CHICKEN QUESADILLA (6/10) - It's a pretty standard chicken quesadilla served with shredded lettuce, pico, sour cream, and guacamole. You do get plenty of shredded chicken inside! This is great to split as an appetizer or get as an entree. I'd order this again. JAVIER'S PLATE (6/10) - It's a good portion size but nothing special. The grilled skirt steak had a nice flavor but is kinda hard to cut up and eat. You get rice, beans, and a small tortilla cup with lettuce, pico, and guacamole. I probably wouldn't order this again because I'd rather try other things. CARNE ASADA (6/10) - Again, it's a good portion size but nothing special. The grilled chicken breast is the same price as the diced skirt steak which doesn't quite make sense to me but you get a decent amount of sautéed onion, tomatoes, serano peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini. Again, you get rice, beans, and a small tortilla cup with lettuce, pico, and guacamole. I'd order this again if I want to get in some veggies with my meal. This was my first visit to Burros Tex Mex Bar and Grill and I probably won't rush to come back because there are other Tex Mex restaurants nearby that I prefer. It wasn't bad by any means, it just doesn't stand out (especially for the price). But, in a pinch, I'd stop by again if I was nearby and in the mood for Tex Mex.
