Mr. Mason was very friendly and persnable and made sure that I received my meal hot and fresh!!! I was very impressed with how they handled the drive thru orders and that there was no long wait time to receive your order. Very very, very well landscaped and very clean.

This is a fail. For a company that's supposed to be family friendly.... Parking their company vehicle in the handicap spot is pretty low.

Oh indy. Your detours have detours have detours. Today's detour took me down Washington street. I was driving along blissfully, stomach growling, a tad hangry as I notice a brand new chick fil A! I am in and out of their drive thru in under six minutes! (Yep I timed it just for kicks and giggles). The fries were hot and perfectly salted. The lemonade was tart. The chicken nuggies were exactly how I expected them to be. I shall return when Indy once again shuts down all the roads I need to take and leads me to this beautiful Chick Fil A!

Gross and nasty. Soggy cold food, rude staff, nobody knows what is going on. Very disappointed.

Been to a lot of different Chick-fil-a's . This one has been the worst on service. Very slow and disorganized!

This is going to be the most bipolar review I've ever written because I'm so hit or miss on…read moreCulver's. On one hand, the food is delicious for a "fast food" joint. And that's probably due to the fact that it isn't really fast food. They make your food fresh to order. (Do we have a category for this type of place, yet? Fresh and fast food?) So, Culver's and McDonald's don't really belong in the same category, in my opinion. Butter burgers are made fresh to order, and I really enjoy their cod sandwich. The cheese curds are addictive and the root beer is top notch. I love their zero calorie diet root beer. Delicious! The staff is always very kind and helpful. Really, it seems like a great company. I wouldn't mind my son working there, and that's a huge compliment from me. On the other hand, Culver's just doesn't do it for me. There's no "it" factor. For the type of place it is, I would compare Culver's to Steak n Shake back in the day (when it was also 4 stars vs the 2 stars it is today). Back then, Steak n Shake was happenin'! It was the place to be so many times! Going late at night to get a fresh steak burger and a malt shake hanging with friends. LFG! That's want I want from Culver's... old school Steak n Shake for guys in their 40's. Alas, it may never be. I never get excited about Culver's. I know people who do. But for me, it's just an option that's better than other options. I give 4 stars, though, because that's 100% on me. The place really does all they can to make sure you have a great evening. It's just hard to drop $50-$65 to feed your family fast food. Really NICE fast food. But fast food, nonetheless. I hope you fall in love with Culver's. I really do. I hope in 20 years, you have the same nostalgia I have for the Steak n Shake that was from a whole 'nother, special world called the 90's. For now, I guess I'll just take out a small loan and go to Culver's for the kids. But I will say that diet root beer is the bomb!

I tend to be kind of hit-and-miss when it comes to Dairy Queen's food selections, though while I…read morewas out running errands today I was in the mood for some ice cream. So, I stopped in to this Cumberland location of Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. This is an odd location with a few closed businesses and a vacant church across the street. However, i've always had a certain fondness for this DQ location despite the fact it's seen its better days. The parking lot has a handful of potholes - including one right as you turn in that will be a bit jarring if you don't see it. I do believe this is actually in Cumberland - so, technically, no Indy pothole jokes here. This location has both dine-in and drive-thru options. I hit the drive-thru, but then stuck around to actually eat my lunch. I snagged a $7 meal deal that included 3 chicken tenders, a small fries, a sundae, and a regular drink. You can upgrade to a small blizzard for $2 more. There aren't too many places you can eat for under a ten spot anymore - that's a definite plus. The service was solid. It wasn't anything remarkable, but the employee was friendly and timely. The food was solid. I always think it's weird to call a small dish of ice cream with a topping a "sundae," but I get the point and it is what I was craving. So, it was fine. I didn't see iced tea on the menu, a bit disappointing. Three Cumberland police officers were present. Business was steady throughout my visit. While this is Cumberland, it's really right on the line. I think right across the street is actually Indy. They do have accessible parking. Most DQ locations do accessibility fairly well. There's an outside dining option here, though it really wasn't warm enough today. I'm surprised I'd never reviewed this place. While I won't say I get here often, I often do stop in when I'm in the area. Overall, things were what I'd call "just fine." I'll definitely return - not because it's 5-star dining, but because it's a comfort spot with decent food at good prices and ice cream I get nostalgic for once in a while.

On a recent Sunday afternoon we were passing through Indianapolis looking for a place to have lunch…read morethat we don't have at home (Louisville) and I said to the wife, I said "Hey, can you see if there's a Jack in the Box we can have lunch at in Indi"?, to which she replied "That sounds good, let me check!". She found one right off if I-70, so I told my car to navigate me there (My car can do that) and in 10 minutes arrived at the Post Rd location. This location is right off of the expressway and it's very easy to find. It was about 1:30pm, so we fortunately missed the lunch rush. Before we even walked in I knew what I wanted, and that was those outstanding Jack in the Box tacos. We were second in line behind a small family, so that gave us enough time to look at the menu (although I didn't need to because: TACOS). As we stood there waiting to place our order with the cashier (notice that I said with a cashier and not on an impersonal freakin' kiosk like a boatload of other fast food eateries any more?) I saw a sign touting the Monster Taco, only available for a limited time? What's better than a Jack in the Box Taco? A Jack in the box MONSTER Taco! Yes, please, I'll take two! (for $3, by the way). Wifey had a burger or something...I was too busy being excited about getting Dem Tacos! The restaurant was clean and well-stocked when we arrived, aside from the drink station with, let's face it, is trashed in just about any fast food restaurant. The floors were clean, trash wasn't overflowing, and all the tables were clean. My wife's whatever-it-was burger was good (by her account). The Monster Tacos were very much worth taking a short detour off of I-65. I had the Angry Monster and the Regular Monster. The Angry Monster had a red taco shell and a spicier sauce..and I Liked It! The staff we encountered (cashier, primarily) was very nice and helpful. For the most part the staff was busy taking care of things, but during the 45 or so minutes of our stay, no one came out to take care of the dining room. Now that we know there's a Jack in the Box easily accessible during our trips to Ft Wayne and back...TACOS!
