I had stopped at this location due to it being late and they were really the only place still open. I wanted a small snack so I had got the kids meal and a piece of Texas toast. I went through the drive thru and I had asked for the cane sauce which should've been automatic. I got all the way home and when I went to open my box there was not any cane sauce at all. I wasn't happy about due to not getting the full experience. Of course I had some bbq sauce at home but I feel the tenders don't hit the same without the cane sauce. Customer service was good. It did take about 15 min in the drive thru that day. I would go back but I will just have to make sure they give me sauce before pulling off.

    $12 meal lol

Great food and a good atmosphere. Been here a handful of times, most recently over the weekend…read more Always have a wonderful experience when we go here. We started with the sauer kraut balls, pretzel with beer cheese, and pickle fries. All were delicious! The pickle fries have a great pickle to breading ratio, will gladly order these again! I went full toddler and ordered the chicken tenders and fries, they were exactly what I wanted and were a generous portion.

Brau Haus is a local German-themed locally owned tavern in the heart of Oldenburg. The place is…read morecute inside, not upscale, but has a small town feel. Some of the booths are German style, giving you a European feel. Madison, our server, was friendly and attentive. The servers know the regulars by name and welcome them warmly. We sat in a booth near the kitchen and could hear a lot of laughter coming from the cooks in the back. The place is jovial. We ordered the Chicken Dinner for Two ($32) which includes about 10 pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and choice of salad or slaw. This was a massive amount of food and could easily feed a family of four. The coleslaw was delicious, the best I've had in a while. The slaw was creamy and tart (not too sweet). The hand-breaded chicken is a winner in my book. The breading is crispy with lots of seasoning, especially pepper. The chicken is hot, moist and tender - perfectly cooked. This is some of the best fried chicken in the State. The potatoes and gravy are an indulgent treat for me. Yes, I had seconds. The green beans are cooked with bacon, yet light. My husband really liked the beans. We took half the meal home for dinner. The menu is German- themed, combined with traditional Hoosier classics. The Tenderlojn sandwich they serve put them on Indiana's Tenderloin Trail. I wanted to try the sauerkraut balls and pretzels, but I was too full. There is free street parking. There are tv monitors to watch the games at the small ball. Brau Haus is totally worth a visit.

I got my order to go but the gentleman who took my order was kind enough to offer me a cup for some water. The spot was happening. Music, good vibes, the decor was fun. I couldn't decide which meal I was trying so I'm definitely going to make another trip sometime soon. I got the tenders with mac but added a side of greens. Boy oh boy the greens were the star and wow my tastebuds were incredibly satisfied. I've had greens but these were like some ultimate flavors and holy greens i definitely could just order some of these every now and again by themselves. Mac was great. Definitely complimented the greens. The tenders though omg. The flavor was insane. I gotta try them with the waffles next time for sure. Overall the wait wasn't long and my food was still hot. I ended up sharing with my son and he was even raving about it. Great service, fun and lit atmosphere, last but not least food was fire. Side note: people complain about price but I'll be honest, when the food is good and staff are amazing, the price to me doesn't matter. You get what you pay for and let's be real, this isn't chic fil a, this is hot boys and the chicken is definitely that.

The…read moreother four people I was with got "medium" and "medium plus" (they are hot sauce / heat lovers) and they all hated the food. It honestly hurt to see all that chicken go directly into the garbage, but they claim it was inedible. Since it's not a saucy type of flavoring, but a dry rub, they said that the heat was painful, and not flavorful. Back to the sandwich I enjoyed... I felt that there was a sweetness to the flavor that I liked, which I could see not everyone enjoying. There is also a hot dusting over the french fries which exacerbates any discomfort people are having from the heat. There really wasn't anything to cool it down. The macaroni and cheese was piping hot, although not spicy.

I was able to purchase a bottle of their specialized salad dressing because it was that good! We made a game time decision after visiting YELP to find a good place to go to dinner on a Friday evening and this came up. Tucked back in a Washington Township neighborhood it is like going to grandmas house. There is plenty of parking, and they have a separate entrance if you want to just do a pick up order so you don't have to go inside it appears. They have a very set menu that looks like it probably doesn't change often. We ordered Family Style Fried chicken which came with two sides (corn and mash potatoes/gravy), it also comes with a starter salad, beets and biscuits with apple butter and finishes with ice cream and they give you different toppings to put on top (Carmel, Strawberry and Chocolate) at your leisure. Needless to say we were stuffed walking out of that place. Everything was good, the food was hot and the service was wonderful. We were seated next to a table of women who were having a great time and it got a little loud but other than that, it was a really nice visit. Not realizing how big the "sides" are, we ordered Mac and cheese and whew it is the biggest SIDE I have ever seen! A couple things: The salad, they only offer vinegar and oil which is not the table. You can request ranch but that's the only dressing they have. The salad doesn't have anything but iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots so don't expect a full fledge salad like you may be used to. Lastly, it can be a little pricey. For our meals the side of Mac and 1 drink it came up to $90 before tip.
