My favorite item here is the Spicy Chicken Deluxe, and it never disappoints. I absolutely love the flavor of the chicken -- it's perfectly seasoned and just spicy enough without being overwhelming. The fries actually taste like real potatoes, which makes a huge difference compared to other fast-food places. Everything always feels fresh and well prepared. But what truly makes Chick-fil-A stand out is the customer service. The staff is always incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers. Guess we came in at a weird time. The store is apparently celebrating 10 years of opening and the full store is decorated for the occasion, so a lot of the scenery is obstructed by balloons and other festive hoo-haw. Props to them, regardless. The food, though, is still very good. Crisp and warm chicken tendies with that thin breading makes for a classic taste. Ordered delivery from this location for breakfast and whether the staff couldn't be bothered to read the item title for the list of ingredients on my sandwich or whether they were too careless to ensure the right items were sent out in our order I'll never know, but fortunately GrubHub had me covered for their incompetence. A "chicken, egg and cheese biscuit" is an item that's so blindingly self-explanatory that someone wholly unfamiliar with their menu could hardly screw up an order for one, but that's just what they managed to do. awful experience, long line, didn't get what I ordered. I my last 4 visits (that will be it for a long time) EVERY chicken strip I ordered had a large piece of gristle in it. The chicken is being replaced by larger gobs of breading, and all of it has pieces of gristle in it. In addition, tonight I ordered my usual mac & cheese but go those greasy, cold and dry waffle fries! Then although I asked for 3 packets of ranch sauce I got 2 (they wrote 3 on the ticket but put 2 in the bag). And considering I had those awful waffle fries I really could have used the extra sauce. The last time I tried to eat there fenced off closed. I went in ok, till I got my food. Came out in paper bag. I said, I wanted it for here, "could I have a tray. We don't have trays anymore. Chick-fil-A is usually a great option for me to grab a quick meal when on the run. Today was an exception. I am a vegetarian and went to order a super food side and some macaroni and cheese. Strangely, I was offered a small, medium, and large option for the super food side. I've never been offered size options before nor could I see any prices on the menu. Just the typical $3.50 ish for a super food side. So to start I stick with a "medium" (see photo below) which was the middle size she pointed to on top of the drink machine. Seemed typical. My Mac and cheese and medium super food side arrived, tasted great. I was still hungry and decided to go back and grab a large super food side. I look at the size on top of the beverage machine and think it will be substantial. My grand total for a large superfood side was 6.11. WOW! EXPENSIVE! This is going to be stuffed full size and totally worth it, right? I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when my "large" superfood side was delivered. I received less than was in the "medium" super food side, thrown into some random container. I generally try to stay away from fast food because of the whole being healthy notion but it doesn't really always happen and sometimes my car randomly pulls into drive throughs so I just go with the flow. On this cold, beautiful night my car chose Chic-Fil-A so I obliged. Ignoring the fact that I somehow never get the drink that I order here, it happened for the third time tonight which I think is the universe's way of sternly letting me know I have to either get a car that takes me to Whole Foods or Sprouts or I have to make the decision myself to completely stay away from fast food. The girl who brought the food out was extremely pleasant and courteous, hence the reason for two stars. Not being able to get a single drink order right is seemingly a challenge for this branch since it's the third time. First time I figured ah just a mistake, cherry coke instead of coke, no problem, second time, Dr. Pepper, which I absolutely detest, annoying but ok, third time (tonight) unsweetened tea or a tea of some sorts. Needless to say, my car and I were extremely pissed, tried giving feedback via their website/ app, turns out you need to have an account to give more specific feedback, thankfully Yelp got my back and hopefully the relevant people see this and can address the very complex task of dispensing the right drink. read more

There are so many of these right now the fact that they are building another one is pretty gut churning. I can only order soup off the menu anymore, but it's a pretty good joint for kids. I've ordered a number 12 large fries and a large iced tea with no ice and three sides of pickles. I did not get my pickles when I got to my office my french fries were lukewarm and my sandwich was lukewarm. Business must be great for Chick-Fil-A! They keep opening more locations and often offer free promotions. I'm happy for them and glad that there's now a location in central Lakewood. I've always thought their fried chicken is the best of all fast food chains. Having tried the Chicken Biscuit, the same holds true for the breakfast! With a piece of fried chicken so darn tasty, perhaps the biscuit can be replaced with a healthier English muffin or something like that (the biscuit isn't even that great but it's the source of most of the calories!) Chick-Fil-A serves hot coffee! $1.50 for a small cup with free refill if you stay in the store. At first sip, it's darker/stronger than that of McDonald's, but maybe 2 cups of coffee in a day is still too much for me, I started tasting sour notes and impurity. I guess there is something to be said about having your own proprietary coffee. After some internet search, I found out Chick-Fil-A uses Royal Cup's 100% Colombian Coffee. Hmm, it may be stronger at first but lacks smoothness and probably suffers in quality if compared side by side with a cup of McDonald's coffee. However, they provide individual International Delight creamers for those who want a little bit more than just half n' half. Even the stirrer (wood) and sacks are of higher quality. To me, that shows they care and truly meant it when they say "it's my pleasure (to serve you)". Keep up the good work CFA. Lately the customer service, which is typically top notch at all CFA locations, has been lacking at this store. My last few visits I've felt rushed and unappreciated as a customer. Tonight that feeling peaked when the employee handed my food through the window while looking behind her, not acknowledging me at all, the way you might hand something to someone you despise. The drive-thru line is efficient (almost to perfection), and the COVID practices are solid. And of course, the food is fantastic. Solid all around I got my order before I even sat down. The sauce choices they have are astounding. The play place that is indoors is clean too. The friend I went with had their kid and that's the reason they choose chick FIL a over other places. Everything was hot and fresh. They won't ignore you if you are at the counter to take up drive through orders either and that seems like the new norm at most fast food places. This is something I'd never expect at Chick Fil A, wife and I went in the drive thru and ordered two chicken sandwich meals with Mac n cheese and a side of waffle fries. We got our food and checked the bag and the order of fries were missing so my wife walks back with receipt in her hand Alecia (may not be the correct spelling) wanted to argue with my wife about the missing fries and even made her go back to our car and let her look in the bag then said the fries weren't on their screen and she is sure the order is complete and kept arguing about it, if they were on our receipt wouldn't they be on your screen? In the mean time our food was getting cold so we went in and talked to the manager about it, she had our order made again, this time no texas pete sauce in the bag and that was on the receipt as well. Chick-fil-A is a joke. Have to order using the app only, can't order in the drive through at all. It's for pickup only. Lobby is 100% closed so can't go in and order to go. App requires you to save your credit card info, and that's after you have to jump through hoops to create an account and verify your email figure out a secure password. All for a chicken sandwich?! Nope. Certainly not when you're at the restaurant and doing the app nonsense takes forever and makes the line even longer. I suppose if you're a diehard fan you are good with all of this, but for the occasional waffle fry I'll pass. It would be smarter and way more efficient to have the app be for curbside pickup and the drive through be for in-person ordering. read more
