Wow, I see the overall ratings for this Chick-Fila- A franchise and I see why it's 3 and 1/2 stars. My experience this evening was a failed. You have to be patience when a place of business is busy. I understand that. But... Just got off a long shift and traveled out my way for a chicken sandwich and fries, bypassing other restaurants and thought I would get the better deal. Nope. I order a chicken sandwich and fries through the app at 6:30 and did not get my food until 20 minutes later. That's how super slow service was. As I sat in my truck I was going through the app trying to see where I can cancelled my order and go to Popeyes for a meal or even MacDonald across the streets. There is no excuse when you pay your money, show up, and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. It will be a looooong time I return to this franchise. I will definitely have to put a stop on payment for this mess. read more

We have been running errands and it was later than we thought. We needed to get something to eat. Walked into chick-fil-a, saw their sign said close at 9:00. What time is it! 8:55. ‍‍. We go to order and they said, dine in or carry out? It's an option? They offer a 15 min grace period!!! What? I feel like we found some cheat code. I wanted to say follow and subscribe for more tips. But they do offer a 15 min grace period for dine in. Then a nice man gave us 2 mints and said enjoy our meal. Side note: I wanted to make sure we were out before the 15 min grace period just in case it turned into some Jordon Peele scenario. Not me, not tonight. And after we ate our food the cleaner or lady idk who she was, but she came around and gave us stickers and mints and asked us if we needed drink refills. Def coming back!!! read more

I love Chick-Fil-A lot. This restaurant is amazing. They always have a smile on their face and always seems willing to help. I love that about them a lot. The only issues that I have is that my orders from time to time seem to be wrong. Ordered Spicy chicken bacon sandwiches but didn't get the bacon. I've also ordered chicken sandwiches and a large fry with other food items but didn't get my fry. After speaking with the worker there yesterday they stated that my digital coupon would be on my app within 24 hours. (Oh and by the way it sounded like the employee I spoke with was laughing at my situation after I told her.) So I double checked today and it is not there so I called and spoke to the manager and she said sorry that she told me that info but it usually takes a minimum few business days to a week. I informed her that I wasn't told that yesterday but I was told it would be 24 hours. So now I have to wait until I get my free fry digital card. They couldn't do anything but say sorry. This wouldn't be an issue had it been the first time, but this was the third time. Twice before covid-19 and yesterday!!! I get that it was a few dollars but during this time when people don't have jobs because of the pandemic it's an issue. I'm still going to go back but no one likes to be felt like they lost out on their money and food because I paid for something I didn't get and now I have to wait until my digital coupon comes in. Went right at noon, through drive through. Not there busy time for a Saturday. Did not have the usual punctual staff, didn't know when orders would be up, had me park at a pull up spot, then handed me half my order as I pulled away. As I pulled off to the spot, guy came out with my order. Seemed mike a waste of time and driving on my part. All Cokes were had no syrup, tasted disgusting. Was so happy when they built a chick Fil A in my area. Having 3 kids the play place amazing. Also there are no other fast food establishments that touches this franchise when it comes to meeting customers needs and expectations. My favorite thing they do is when the drive thru line gets backed up they will take there employees outside to get your order before you hit the intercom. It speeds things up immensely. You can never really go wrong with Chick-fil-A. I like to get their breakfast sandwich here you little tater rounds and a Diet Coke that on Fridays or so. The lines are always extremely long as people love Chick-fil-A I don't know why the lines are so long what they are and I wait in them too because I'm not that chicken biscuit because it tastes so good. This location is on bardstown road there's nothing wrong with it I'll check it out again like I usually do on Fridays I wish the prices were a little cheaper compared to like McDonald's or whatever but that chicken biscuit is phenomenal. read more

I had just finished having a colonoscopy and hadn't ate for 36 hours. All I wanted was chick fil a breakfast. We rushed there to make it on time and ordered. But I ended up receiving a spicy chicken biscuit instead of my other order, which you're advised not to eat spicy after one of those procedures. Can't get enough of the spicy deluxe chicken meal. The chicken filet is perfectly fried and dressed with a buttered bun, melted pepper jack cheese, and freshly sliced lettuce tomato and pickle. I opted for the waffles fries as a side and a Diet Coke to drink. The perfect duo. The service was friendly and fast, and im loving the Christmas decorations. This is my favorite Chick-fil-a store. The get my order right 9/10 times and when they get it wrong, they are always apologetic and very accommodating. Because of my job I eat lunch at different Chick-fil-A locations in Eastern Jefferson County. I almost always use the drive-in because of Covid and eat Chick-fil-A at least once a week. The Fern Creek location is TERRIBLE, by far the worst!! The following is without exaggeration...I arrived at 10:45 to avoid the lunch rush, there was NO ONE out taking orders, you could only order at the kiosk, the vehicle in front of me was at the window for over 5 minutes, when I got to the window NO APOLOGY!!! I was in line OVER 20 minutes!!!! Ironically there's a Popeye's right next door that probably gets 10+ customers a day just because of the way this Chick-fil-A operates. This is a review of this specific Chick Fil A... first I've never been without them having me pull into a spot and wait for my food after waiting in line for 20+ minutes. They always forget the sauces literally every time. This is the worst Chick Fil A I've ever gone to. Every time I go here they mess up my order in some way. Three straight visits in fact. The line takes forever (20+ minutes easy)... the workers always look completely overwhelmed. Last time I came here, which was my last, I called the manager to tell her about the situation.. she just said "sorry to hear that let me put a free meal on your app." I declined. I do not want a free meal and for them to walk away feeling like they solved the problem by slapping a chicken sandwich on my issues. That was a few months ago. I recently went back because that's where my grandma loves to go and get through the drive through and what do you know.. cold soggy fries, none of my sauces and they forgot the chick nuggets. Chick-fil-A runs like a well-oiled machine. This is the location that I frequent most often because it's on my way to work. The drive-thru line is usually long, but it runs very quickly. I've been to this location an embarrassing amount of times and I never recall them getting my order wrong. If you don't have the app - get it! You can earn free food and Chick-fil-A offers spontaneous free rewards throughout the year. Honestly, even though I do love Chick-fil-A's food - I come back time and time again because of the great service. The people working there are alway so nice and friendly. A few people who ordered after we did got their food orders before us (other to go people). Got the order and headed to our appointment. i had the worse experience at this location. i put my order in using my app. i picked curbside pick up. I parked and i waited 23 min and still no order. I only ordered 3 drinks. i went inside and there sat my drinks on the counter. I asked for my order and told them how long I was waiting. The young man just looked at me and handed me the drinks. I walked out to my car and both customers on each side of my car were also walking in to pick their ordered up. I was pulling out and the one man also walked out with only 2 drinks bo food... I always loved chick fill a for the fast and fresh food but It seems to me this chick fill a slacks a little more than the average chick fill a. As we know chick fill a is typically pretty busy but normally they have the best system when it comes to getting people thru as fast as they can. This chick fill a does not do that, that have no system what so ever it always take forever no matter what time of day you go. Sometimes the lines not even long and it still takes a while. The chick fila on outer loop is so much better. There's times they have a line all the way on the main road and still get you through the drive thru really fast. It amazes me how fast they are on outer loop. My suggestion is whoever runs this chick fill a go to outer loop and copy how they run it and everything will be alot smoother for everyone. I also doordash alot and this chick fill a never has the doordash ready when I get there I always have to wait at least 10 mins if not way longer. I honestly hate this chick filla it sucks. We live 45 min from this location and we regularly pick up food to take home. The last few times the curbside wait times have grown and grown, last night was the worst. I had my son picking up the food, at 8:11 the app showed the restaurant started "preparing my order". My son finally received our order at 8:46. During this time I tried contacting the restaurant as nobody was checking in with my son about the massive delay. The phone to the restaurant is a continuous looping tree where nobody answers. I even tried an instant message which they viewed but didn't respond to. After all this the order wasn't correct either. Had lunch here on Thursday around 1. It was a zoo. Kids and people all over the restaurant and in the parking lot. The drive through had 10 + cars in it at all times. I left me car in the lot when I went to hike with my friend afterwards and when I went back to get it at 6:30 it was still crowded in the restaurant as well as the drive through. I ate a grilled chicken salad. The salads are pre made but this particular salad had blue cheese on it that I don't like so they made me one special and added bacon to it at my request. It was very good. I like lite dressing and the balsamic vinaigrette was very tasting and complimented the salad, lettuce was fresh, it was full of berries, had a packet of granola and a packet of nuts for addition toppings. For a fast food salad it was very good. There was a man working, cleaning tables who was accommodating and willing to assist with needed items, extra dressing, drink refills, which was nice. Stopped into this location today for a quick bite with my husband on our way home. Glad we did. While enjoying our meal, we had some enjoyable conversation with an older employee. He was sweet as could be. Everyone there was friendly. We decided to try their deluxe fish sandwiches that are in season. Toppings we're crisp and fresh. Fish was hot. Tarter sauce comes in packets on the side. We also tried their new cheese sauce cups for dipping the fries. I sure hopes it stays on the menu. It was white hot liquid deliciousness. Me and my family eat chick fila about 3 times a week. This chick fila is notorious for screwing up our order and taking forever to get through their drive thru even with the new lane that they closed the store for months to build. This morning we placed an order on the app 40 minutes before breakfast ended for 50 dollars worth of food. We arrive at the store 10 mins before breakfast is over and we have to wait in the drive through because the app wasn't offering curbside pick up. After waiting 20 minutes I get to the speaker for them to flip the menu to lunch and say " we can't fill your order because we just stopped serving breakfast and you weren't here for your order in time", I explained that I had to wait in line forever which is why we didn't make it. We were then told that our money was refunded and the order was cancelled and there was nothing they could do. Our money was never refunded and We then talked to the store manager named Jarod who was a total duche bag, he told us it would be a FEW DAYS before the money would could back to the bank for the refund.
