I frankly don't even know how to characterize my experience tonight. I went in tonight to pick up an online order I'd placed 15 mins prior to getting there. Upon arriving, the cashier was nice, friendly, overall pretty welcoming. However, as I sat in the lobby waiting for my food, I began to hear yelling from the back of the store. I assume it was the cashier and another employee arguing, but they were incredibly loud and vulgar. This arguing went on for nearly the entire 40 minutes I was there waiting for my food, which by the way is kind of crazy. Nearly an hour for a grilled chicken wrap and fries... at this point I just wanted to go home and nearly left without my food but thankfully my it came out just as I was about to just get up and leave. Have passed by this location so many times and the other day I finally decided to see what it was all about. Ordered the -6 piece original wings with Rajun Cajun sauce - side of Onion Rings - Carrots/Celery The wings were really good, a decent size and meaty. The sauce was OK, it wasn't as hot as the rating system suggested, I think next time I will have to up it to the next level. The onion rings were crisp and light and the carrots and celery were fresh. Now my minor complaints. 1) you had to pay extra for the carrots and celery which was a little rude, I mean it is the classic pairing for wings! I get that not everyone wants them but they should be offered and included for those that do! 2) I dont know if it is possible to have gotten extra sauce (it was not offered and I didnt think to ask until after I sat down) but if not, please consider. Even if I have to pay 25 cents or whatever for a small cup, I would like the option. Otherwise the shop was clean, the people working were friendly and the order came out straightaway. Good place! Our love for like Wing Zone went to like, since tonight I found out that they no longer have wedges on the menu. They changed to fries, which are ok but the wedges were what we would crave. This location is generally fast, 80 percent of the time. I like that I can order a decent fresh salad, while at the same time getting fast food. I don't trust salads from just anywhere. I will be seeking out a new place to get good wedges. read more

Ordered here with DoorDash for lunch one day. There were lots of wing flavors to choose from. My teenage son, a wing connoisseur, ordered the sweet samurai wings. He loved them. A perfect blend of sweet and heat. I try to eat a little healthier so I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with blackened voodoo rib. Had great flavor with a little kick to it. Soooooo goood!! I have been eating wing zone for years now. I would say the food is not top shelf but it's definitely good food for the price. I have had almost everything on the menu and my go too is the boneless wings and wedges. I've had all the milder heat sauces and love them all. As for spicy stuff I've only dabbled on the medium side of the menu as my body can take any hotter. I will say what I've had heat wise has been good, it's the kind of hot that allows you to still taste the flavor of the sauce and not just burn. For sure would recommend someone to give this place a try. read more

First be sure to check out the deals on Xooker. They have $50 for 25 or $20 for 10. I would not want to pay menu price. That said at 1/2 price it's a good deal. Plus they had a special where I got a free side with the purchase of 10 tenders. The staff is very friendly and fast. The food let us down a bit though. The tenders are cut irregular shapes and kind of thin. This makes them kind of chewy and tough. Every 3rd or 4th bite I got a strong celery seed taste. The ranch dip was weak and thin. She said the blue cheese tasted like mayonnaise and onions. I tried 3 sauces. The liquid gold honey mustard didn't not taste at all like mustard and just barely like honey. The honey bbq was better tasting pretty standard. The star was the sweet samurai. The ginger, teriyaki and soy blend perfectly. Her burger patties were very dry and looked heavily soy. The house salad was impressive with lots of interesting ingredients. The macaroni and cheese bites were better than some I've had but was still like fried blue box. I wish someone would use good oven baked Mac for a change. The mozzarella sticks had a tasty batter rather like funnel cake although I would have liked them a little more filled. read more

I went to Wing Zone on Poplar Level Rd in Louisville Kentucky for the first time. Was very disappointed that out of 26 wings I received 7 flats. I saw where I could have paid a extra dollar for flats. However I thought I would at the least. I would get 13 flats and 13 drumetts. I guess they reserve the flats for those that want to pay for them. Which is not how it should have been. A wing comes with one flat and one drumett. That is what I should have received. Saving the flats for those who want to pay extra is unfair. If the want to charge extra then make more flats. Do deprive paying customers of the rightful pieces. All in the name of your company wanting to make more money. Needless to say I won't be spending any more of my money at wing zone. First impression is a lasting impression.
