I have never had an issue with any chick fil a placing and order for me since I can't fit through the drive thru. I kindly went up to order snd they refused to let me order unless I went through the drive thru... that I don't fit in. The employee was very ride and 'manager Kaitlyn' was even more rude. We placed an order over $90 worth of food and came home to 1 whole meal missing, most orders came wrong and when we called they said we could come by and pick up the corrected stuff, that we had two weeks to pick up since we are in Tracy and them in Manteca. Another chick-fil-a placed in a business center lacking parking and ridiculous maze to the drive-thru! Order taker didn't hear me correctly and rang me up for spicy sandwich instead of a regular one, but fortunately, the guy taking my payment was quick to correct my order and radioed the correct order to the kitchen. I had a big order and requested three small bags to separate the food for the kids. Had to still even request two spoons for the two mac & cheese in the order. The young girl (who seemed more concerned with the way she looked outside) comes back and gives a single bag and a single spoon. Obviously the lines show how delicious their food is, also the stats showing that they're the 3rd grossing chain in the US and that's with less locations and being closed on Sundays. So that isn't up for debate. What is also amazing is their customer service and this location is no exception. They are handling the crowds with great grace and smiles on their faces. We truly understand why it only caters drive thru customers...yet when the "director of drive thru operations" is far from having a decent customer service IQ - its more than aggravating. We tried to order online and when we got to the location and met the crew to confirm our order we added a beverage. Then came the second batch of crew to confirm our orders and gave us the queue. But when the food was handed to us on a tray the medium coke was missing(which we originally ordered from the app) they said it wasn't on the order blah blah blah...so we said just add a coke we'll pay cash or card but the manager helping from the inside said no we got to go back to the long line that will take us 20-30 mins take note we need to drive back to Yosemite Street then get in to the line! We make a fuss since its already past 9pm and we are starving! Then came the Drive Thru director who had threatened us to call the police and we would love to have the police there to witness how aweful their customer service is! read more

What is the point of ordering ahead if they don't bring you your food? I ordered on the app, and told them I was there. They said it would be right up, but I just waited. I watched people walk in and order and get their food ahead of me. I finally had to ask a second time only to find my food was sitting there the whole time! I wasn't the only one, there was about five people milling about waiting as well. They have a shelf where you are supposed to put pick up orders, but it clearly wasn't being used. Tonight this one got my wife's order wrong and what could have been a very simple fix turned into a bad experience. When they brought her the order, she notified them that she had ordered a large drink. At first they said she would have to pay the difference which she said was fine. I was skeptical at first of all the long lines and long wait times! However, I finally tried Chick-fil-a and I now know why everybody waits in line. I love the original flavor of their chicken and the fries are always so fresh! It doesn't taste greasy or overcooked like most fast food chicken sandwiches. We will definitely continue to go to this fast food chain. The girl was very friendly and let me know, since we were first timers, that if I waited 5 more mins we could choose from the lunch menu. The line moved quickly, we order nuggets and strips with fries and two drinks. Love the crushed ice in the drinks, my kids loved the chicken, however the cold fries was such a bummer!
