Chick-Fil-A is hands down the best fast food restaurant I know of (aside from a few independently owned stores out west). It's so great Midtown has a location now, it is much more convenient than driving way the hell out to Mendenhall to get my chicky fix. I gave the Midtown location a 1-star penalty for an issue I've had with service here. I've never been to a Chick-Fil-A that did not have better service than every other fast food restaurant. However, I have had some issues at the midtown location. On a few occasions I have had to wait far longer than I am normally accustomed to - a problem I don't usually have out east. But, given that every time I go the drive-thru line is packed, I'm not that disappointed in having to wait - it's amazing that it's as fast as it usually is. And, even though the midtown location seems slower than the East Memphis one, the service here is still infinitely better than any other fast food place I know of. read more

Food is always good. Staff is friendly and I never have to wait long. The only thing that bothers me is they taped over all of their trash cans!! The only trash can I've seen was way in the back near the bathroom. This has caused people to put trash on the counters because there aren't trash cans around the store anymore. Love me some Chick-Fil-A. The service is as good, if not better, than most quality restaurants. Say what you will about their "religious" beliefs, but that is the beauty of this great country, we can all believe what we want to believe. Pretty much anyone in the South can tell you that Chick-Fil-A is a major cut above any other fast food establishment, both in quality of food and in customer service. That being said, I have had mixed results at this location. The employees are super friendly -- when they say "My pleasure," it seems like they might actually mean it -- but sometimes don't seem to really be paying attention. For example, I've been asked what kind of sauce I wanted, and then not been given any (my broken-record refrain: If you don't care, why did you ask?), been handed milkshakes that have slopped over the sides of the cup (I really, really don't want sticky hands), and been asked to pull around into the parking lot from the drive-thru to wait for my order (how do you not have enough chicken ready?). So, while I love their shakes and chicken strips (and please, please, I beg you, bring back the sweet potato fries!), I never know which Chick-Fil-A I'm going to get here, which keeps it from being a five-star experience. read more

This location has gotten much better with the speed of their app orders and I appreciate that. What I don't appreciate is how my sandwich tasted last time. Normally everything is good but the last time my chicken sandwich tasted like it was prepared with dirty gloves. It was so bad I spit it right back out. This location is definitely not like others. My application sent my order to this location and charged me and customer service emailed him 3 times to refund me in February and to this day no refund. This is the rudest chick fil a I have ever been to. The employees just stand in front of the condiment and napkin station doing literally nothing but chatting, and if you say "excuse me" then they ignore you. Also this location always gets your order wrong. ALWAYS check your bag if you get it to go/drive thru. It's just a terrible location. And honestly after they closed down to renovate it, I thought they'd make it nicer inside, but it's kind of gross on the inside. Dry crusty biscuit, cold dry chicken, the hash rounds were so soggy and cold I just had to throw them away. I have always loved Chick -fil-a food. In the past four months the service I recieved at the Union Ave location has been disappointing to say the least. Almost everytime I went to this location I would have at least one item missing from my order. About 1 week ago I went to this location through the drive thru and spent about $ 26.00 I went home to discover that not just one item was missing but several things were missing, I realize I should have checked my order before leaving but I had other things to do so I was in a bit of a hurry. When I discovered the errors I called to complain ( My first complaint) I spoke to a female manager who was very courteous about the incident and she told me that she was going to put my name and the missing items on a list and said they would be avilable to me for two weeks, I thanked her and went on with my day. Today I decided to go to the same location to get those missing items replaced and took a friend who was also going to place a paid order. Because I was going to use the drive thru I called ahead and spoke to an employee(also very courteous) who said that it would be fine for me to go through the drive thru and that he would let them know my name and the missing items. When I arrived at the drive thru I told them my name, who I had spoken to and about the replacement order and then told them I also had a seperate paid order. They seemed to understand what I had said as the woman repeated everything back to me. I get to the window and they handed me my friends order and the woman told me to move along......... I politely asked her where was my replacement order and why had they not took the payment for my friends order and they told me that they thought I wanted her order free, I said no that is not what I said on the phone nor at the speaker I asked her to take the payment for my friends order and to please replace mine...... she refused, looked at me and firmly said move along there are other customers waiting. I left but immediately called to speak to a manager who was not available at the time so I left my name and phone number with another employee who stated the manager would call me back in 5 mins.....which did not happen either . I gave him over an hour before I called back. When I spoke to the manager he seemed condesending, disinterested and kept saying he was confused and not understanding me. I was very clear about the situation and then he proceeded to tell me that he really wished he could find a way to resolve this situation but he didn't think there was anything he could do for me. What he could've and should've done would be to replace the missing items. They essentially paid for my friends meal with my money being that the order that I that I paid 26.00 for they messed up and I was missing half of about a week ago, so that didn't do me any favors. A big waste of my money. I guess I'll have to drive a little father to get better service because I've always loved Chick fil a. Very disappointed. read more

I ordered food for my coworkers from the app and went to pick it up. When I got there, they told me they were out of wraps. You would think they would have called and informed me before I walked in to pick it up but whatever. So after calling my coworker and changing their order, I received my food. I got all the way to work only to find out that we were missing TWO chicken sandwiches and ONE drink!! I called the manager over TEN times with no answer. Finally he answered and asked for the receipt number. I had to find the number and I proceeded to call him back. No answer. I called several times the next day and even left a message asking him to return my call. It has been 3 days and still no call or any resolution to my problem. I paid all that money and didn't even receive half of my food! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS CHICK-FIL-A AGAIN and I suggest you do the same!
