Just a awful experience their drive thru service is there! 3 times I've been to this location and 3 frustrating times..

I'm going to keep the sweet and simple. I ordered a number 4 they gave me a number 8, no big deal things happen. They let me keep the number 8 and then they gave me a number 4 plus a gift certificate for a free sandwich.I have never had customer service at a fast food restaurant like that before. This is the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. I love Chick-fil-A so don't get me wrong, this review is only for the Mount Prospect location. This location is very dirty, I didn't even want to sit down in the booth. The fries are always stale and cold and the chicken is gristly and really bad! Spicy Chicken Sandwhich Deluxe with pepperjack cheese was fantastic. Drive-thru experience was quick during the lunch rush. I love waffle fries but the ones I got were cold. I finally tried it: 9:30 pm on 5/25/16 in Mount Prospect. Absolutely disgusting. Waffle fries; Soft and stale. Grilled chicken club; rancid tomato taste predominant. Pitched the whole meal after 2 bites. Going without dinner infinitely more satisfying. read more

So... I'm out and about, running here and there, when I decide to stop at Chick-fil-A. I thought this would be a healthy sandwich selection. As I go thru the drive-thru, I place my order for a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. That's it... nothing more. I mentioned to Janette (the speaker attendant) that I had never been to a Chick-fil-A. What does Janette decide to do? She throws in a free cookie as a welcome gesture. How nice was that? I returned home and devoured my sandwich. You know what they say, portion control. Even though I only ordered 1 item, I have to rave about not only the service, but the wonderful sandwich. I plan on returning whenever I am in the Randhurst, Mt Prospect area. Chick fil a is known for their good service but I had a horrible experience. I was waiting in a huge line to order drive through but once it got to me they turned off their light. They didn't even answer us or tell us sorry we are closed. We waited 30 minutes in line to only wait longer for the people ahead of us to get there food. All the employees refused to talk to us which is why we got so upset. read more

I am so happy a Chick-fil-A opened near me! Like others, one of the best services you'll get at a fast food restaurant. Almost over staffed but it's nice to get your food handed to you as you are paying and have multiple people walk around make sure the place is clean and refill people's drinks. I love their number 4. I love Chick Fil A and used to eat there multiple times a week when I worked in Lombard and travel for work in other locations, but this location needs some help. The first time I went, they gave my son the wrong chicken nuggets then fried his fries in peanut oil sparking an allergic reaction. Despite calling their attention to both, I didn't even get an apology. While I took a break from the restaurant, I couldn't stay away for more than a couple months. On my second visit, I order a salad and ask to hold the blue cheese. After getting home and realizing they didn't hold the blue cheese (let's face it...you either like blue cheese or are disgusted by a trace of it...there isn't much in between) they asked if I was close enough to come back for another one. They did end up putting me down for a replacement on my next visit, but that doesn't help my hunger pangs as I sit at my desk without an edible lunch. I tried the spicy chicken for the first time; it was good, but I think I would have preferred sticking with their original chicken sandwich. The employees here are so exceptionally friendly. I've gone through their drive-thru twice now and I love eating their southwest salad. I felt the need to write a review after having realized my interactions with their staff make a difference in my day and improve my mood, and their food is delicious. I love their waffle fries too. I've always said that chick fil a is overrated and this last trip absolutely confirmed that thought. I went through the drive thru this time and as usual the food was soggy and mediocre. Additionally, I figured I'd ask for a couple mints because I knew they had some in the restaurant. One thing chick fil a does do well is the customer service, so of course they said they would give us some mints. They even read our order back to us at the window, including the mints! Guess what was not in the bag of food? Mints. Subpar performance once again by the southern chicken chain. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a week or so now and I've finally gotten around to it. I even made a Yelp account just to post this because it really was such a good experience. This Chic-fil-A location is absolutely delightful! The food was fresh, hot, and scrumptious (as always when we go here) but nothing beats the kind employees that really know "service with a smile". My husband and I had an especially wonderful experience with an employee the last time we went. I believe her name was Sophia if I remember correctly. She looked about late teens or maybe early twenties and she was small and absolutely adorable with lots of infectious bubbly energy. I'm describing her in case I forgot her name wrong because she deserves recognition! My husband and I asked if we could order shakes with our meals, but have them made later. It was quite busy so I was expecting a "no" to this request since it might be an issue but Sophia was very kind and said "oh of course, it won't be a problem!" with a smile on her face. Even after just this, my husband and I were very pleased with the service and happy that we could enjoy our shakes fresh after our meal. We took our time eating and then went back, expecting that she wouldn't remember us since of course she sees so many people every day. Not only did she remember us, but she even remembered the kinds of shakes we wanted and the sizes! You won't find this kind of personal customer service anywhere else. Upon entering chic fil a I was greeted with bright colors and a very hospitable atmosphere for a quick 8:30pm Friday night meal. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were attentive and proficient. The cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant suggest chic fil a is a higher quality restaurant capable of delivering great food, however this is not the case. The foundation for the franchise appears to be spinoffs and mocks of the McChicken from McDonald's. Chic fil a has a very large potential, however they must improve their food first. read more

Great spot! I frequently stop specifically at this location when I travel on business because their food is consistently prepared perfectly and their staff is sooooo accommodating. I recently starting grabbing breakfast there as well after I tried the egg white sandwich. Fantastic! Their coffee is top notch as well.
