I love chick-fil-a and it's remarkably consistent around the country except at this location. I think the change in ownership at this franchised location coincided with the decline in quality/service/experience. Whatever the cause, it is now a very painful experience. The most recent screw up was when a friend with a gluten allergy ordered a gluten free bun that was omitted from the order. My friend complained as this had happened multiple times. And what do they offer him, a free cookie....gluten and all. All my friend asked for was fresh fries to eat with his sandwich since he had to drive back to get bun and they were cold. Let me say the food was good... but the service was SUPERB! They were so nice and complementary by far the BEST people you would ever meet and the BEST service from any food place hands down! very organized in their lines to get people through quickly. They bring your food. It was fresh, hot and delicious. I know I can always go here and get a very good chicken sandwich or nuggets, I love the fries trust me it's amazing. This is my favorite Chick-Fil-A! Every time I stop at this location the service is amazing! The employees are informative, helpful and cheerful. Summertime the employees come outside to help take your order so the line moves fast and smooth. Love it! I think it's probably more fun for the employees to step outside as well. My orders have all been correct and delicious so far! I recommend the Cobb salad. Delicious! I also recommend the wrap! Also, delicious! The customer service at the chic-fil-a in Mt Prospect, IL on Elmhurst is superb. Hand ls down THE BEST place to go to. I work work at Abt on the delivery trucks. So the energy is needed during the mornings. My partner and I go to eat breakfast there every morning. The manager there is amazing. Always greeting us, asking if we need anything extra. My experience did not leave a good feeling. If you're a Seinfeld show fan, you may appreciate my experience: after waiting in line for 20 minutes, I finally placed the order. Afterwards, the order taker went over my order and it was perfect. A few more minutes passed and I was able to pick up my order and drive home. When I got home, I found that they had duplicated one of the items and omitted one of the items. This was my first visit to Chick-fil-A. I was very impressed with the customer service here! I cannot say enough everyone was SO friendly! They are a bunch of kids that were either trained really well or brought up by their parents really well. They gave eye contact, thanked us for coming in, checked in on us, etc. The restaurant is new so it's very clean and well maintained. The food was good too! I had a 4 piece meal of chicken strips. I have to confess, best chicken strips I have had in my life. They were huge, and as you would expect when you use real chicken pieces, all different lengths. The operator at this store refuses to give anyone a refund unless they come back to the store which I am to far away to do that. So, what this operator is saying is you need to pay even if we do not fulfill your order. So, I am paying chick fil la money for something they did not provide. Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food chain and this is my main restaurant closest to home; I'm glad this is the one. The food is delicious by far the best chicken restaurant chain. The sandwiches are delicious especially with the Chick-fil-A sauce. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious; perfect for hanging out with friends. The staff are extremely friendly, optimistic, and eager to help. The drive thru while normally long does go by quickly due to the staff coming out and running things faster. The consistency of the food is great as always, though when I arrived for the curbside pick up, it took about 10 minutes before I got my food after checking in via the Chick fil A mobile app. So much for the quick curbside pick up feature. Next time I'll go through the drive thru or go inside. Otherwise, the spicy chicken sandwich is as delicious as ever, fries were lukewarm but still tasty. Drinks are good as usual - can't really screw that up. Still haven't gone inside so I can't comment on the interior conditions and service quality. Upon going in, it was packed, but we got our order in a timely manner. Everything was fine, up until i picked up my sandwich. Underneath was a nickle-sized bug. I call over a worker, and asked for manager. Went through the whole yadda yadda, and ended up getting a chance to come back and get a meal on them. Cool, i thought, so they took my name down, and that was that. 1 month later..(yeah, i got a bug, anyone would be hesitant to come back immediately) i come back with my wife, and ask them about my meal, and gave them my name. They tell me that my name is not on the listing. I told them i was here, and got a bug in my meal, and yadda yadda. They said, sorry we can't help you with that. This was my first time in a Chick fil A and wow, the customer service is excellent! Daemon was so very nice that honestly I don't even care about whether or not it will be my favorite meal ever, he was so kind I'll definitely return for the pleasant experience. Everyone seemed so cheery too, which is such a turn from the usual surly fast food workers. It must be a nice place to work! I should also add the dining area was very very clean despite it being lunch time and the condiment bar was fully stocked. Considering this chain prides itself on chicken, I was disgusted to find out the 'grilled' chicken is a processed slab of mystery chicken. Think 'chicken McNugget' filling from McDonald's. Even McDonald's has a real piece of chicken on their grilled offering(s). I checked the ingredients online (after the gross sandwich was consumed) and the list for the grilled chicken is a mile long with unrecognizable ingredients....nasty. I love how nice everyone is and how clean they keep the dining area (for the times I am able to dine inside). Having mints is an excellent touch. They really think about all of your needs! I got into a car accident once in their parking lot (which wasn't my fault... you can call Progressive and Flo will tell you that I was a good boy), but in all sincerity, the layout of the parking lot is a bit odd, and does attract some problematic scenarios. So just be careful and refrain from putting mayonaise on your sandwich until you are out of the lot. Though we would stop in for a chicken sandwitch. I spent $19.90 on the worst 2 chickens sandwitches and coffees.The sandwitches were full of grease and the coffees was so bitter. Must have been from morning. When I complainted about it ,the kids behind the counters just said so sorry. Never saw a manager appear. We threw the sandwitches in the garbage with the coffees. This is always a popular choice for a lunch spot. Can't go wrong with their chicken. Cooked perfectly and tastes great. Their staff are incredibly friendly and always come by to refill your drinks. I was really impressed, their customer service should really be commended. I'd come here anytime. It appears that the only bad reviews come from ignorant people who don't agree with the founder's religious views or because of the over-politeness of the staff. What more can you ask for...besides delicious fresh squeezed lemonade of course. Unfortunately, Chick-fil-a decided to add a dash of politics to their recipe. That is the only...the ONLY reason why I would rate 4 stars instead of 5. Despite this, the Christian ideals pushed by the chain definitely makes for a great service experience: the employees are so nice and they really care about children. Went to Chic-fil-a today to try it again for the first time since we all found out the owners are heavily involved in funding the anti-choice campaign in America. I sat down, ate, and on my way out I brought the several unused packets of ketchup, mustard, etc. back to the counter so it wouldn't go to waste. "Here at Chic fil A we have strict policy of not accepting any condiments back across the counter." "But these are all sealed packages, and you just handed them to me, and I didn't ask for enough to choke a cow." "Sorry, that's our policy." And they threw it all straight into the garbage! Ordered 4 Cobb salads with avocado lime dressing. When I got home I only received two avocado lime dressings. My order was $74.00 order and they forget the dressing for the salads. I called and spoke to Annalise the manager and she couldn't give me a refund or any free offers and she only accused me of lying. She asked her baggers and they said they put four dressings in the bag. Like why would I be lying. This is the worst $74.00 I ever spent. I will never go to chick-fil-a again. This was my first time going to Chick and it was amazing! For being a fast food chain, it is REALLY clean (yes, this includes the restroom as well). I ordered the #3 spicy chicken sandwich and a small order of fries (don't worry, I got the Chick-fil-A sauce too!). The service was fantastic, quick, and friendly. One of the things I like best is that the sandwich isn't overly greasy like most fast food chicken sandwiches. After eating it, you don't feel completely self-conscious because of the fattening meal you just devoured (like I feel at McDonald's). The ingredients are fresh and the Chick-EN is of great quality, you can tell with every bite that it is indeed white meat chicken and not some "chemical chicken concoction patty". I originally wanted the grilled chicken sandwich but they were out of grilled chicken at the time. I didn't have too much of a problem with them being out of the grilled chicken temporarily because it wasn't made yet. This let me know that they in fact use real chicken and not some out of the plastic bag chicken breast. Can't beat getting fresh (real) food that won't empty your wallet.
