Destiny saw me here, and it was for the best. In need of some coffee to go with a super-special lunch I'd made, I had stopped at the Arby's, next door -- only to learn that Arby's doesn't serve coffee. Thankfully, there was Chic-Fil-A, steps away, and so, just like that, I soon had my sought coffee, losing only a minute or two. As it were, the coffee was pretty darn good, and served up by a smiling young lady who appeared to take genuine delight in my business. From there, I proceeded to enjoy my packed lunch, aided by the PDG coffee and an equally good book, all as my fellow patrons swirled around me in a chicken-scented carnival -- wonderful! Ultimately, I ended up lounging around the place for over an hour, feeling rather at peace with the world. And it only cost me a dollar and some change. So, a word of thanks to all the good folks who run this restaurant, for providing the scene of my enjoyably weird little picnic. I am sincerely grateful for your service. read more

This is simply the best Fast Food restaurant I've ever been to. The employees all were fast, helpful and super friendly. There is no doubt that the famous chicken lives up to all the hype. Whether it's in a sandwich or the chicken strips, all were delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we went there twice during our stay in North Myrtle Beach. Everyone else seems to agree. During the prime lunch hour of Noon to 1:00, the place is packed. So make sure to plan your trip accordingly. read more

This was the first Chick-Fil-A I have ever been to, and it was wonderful. It was bright and clean, and all of the staff was nice. We had no idea what we wanted so the girl at the front explained what everything was to us. After we ordered we sat down and someone brought our food out to us. A woman came by to see if we needed refills and also brought the ice cream cup my son opted for instead of the toy. The food was great, esp the chicken wrap and the people were very nice. I don't know why I continually (well, not continually, but on occasion) patronize Chik Fil A. Mind, I don't spend my own money here, but I don't know why I bother spending any money here. I guess I come back on occasion because the chicken is really good. But the chicken in the sandwiches is always so small. The bread engulfs the meat and the chicken barely takes up half of the bun/biscuit. The tea at this location was so watered down that I eventually had to discard the beverage. I fell for it again, but I am learning my lesson. I always hope for the best but generally get much less. On this occasion I tried the new egg white chicken English muffin things. It was pretty flavorless with a tiny chicken nugget on the sandwich. Im pretty sure Im done coming to any more CFA. read more

NMB location is ALWAYS packed during tourist season and service is fairly fast depending on time of day, food is always served piping hot and fresh! These guys do a consistently good job in summer! I've had to trek it to North Myrtle numerous times over the past few months and this Chick-fil-A has become my go-to for food and restrooms. The bathrooms are extremely clean which is a necessity when driving 3 hours one way. As with most Chick-Fils, you know what you're getting and you're getting it with politeness. Ok, bought a chicken biscuit this morning and I cannot believe this is what they are serving now at Chick-fil-a. What a disappointment. Seriously, their chicken is smaller than the size of a bar of hotel soap. They have steadily decreased the size of the chicken on their biscuits but this is ridiculous. I USED to visit this particular restaurant 1 to 2 times a week to feed my family. We really enjoyed the good and service. In fact, we were just discussing how ask the employees seemed so eager to assist costumers. I estimate that I spend at least $25-$30 on each visit. I went through the drive through today and was expecting the normal 10-15 minute wait with my car in idle. I haven't minded in the past because the customer service was usually outstanding and made up for it. Things went much differently today. A nice young lady came to my car window and was taking my order on a tablet. I showed her the coupon I planned to use and she confirmed it was valid. The coupon is for a free chick-fil-a nuggets kid's meal. (Picture attached) I finally got up to the drive thru window and gave the cashier my coupon. After speaking with another employee, the cashier stated that the coupon was not valid at that location? (Coupon states "Redeemable at: Chick-fil-a at Gator Hole Plaza North Myrtle Beach.) I pointed this fact out to the cashier and she gets the manager. The manager then tells me that because the owner that was listed on the coupon was not the current owner, then the coupon is invalid? (The coupon has NO expiration date). I expressed my concern to the manager and he responded with, "I'm sorry, but we're just not going to take this." I do apologize for the length of this review, but I'm just appalled by the type of customer service at this location. That manager would risk losing a customer (he probably thought we were tourist and he wasn't losing reoccurring business) over a $3.60 coupon? Especially when the coupon was specifically for that location and had NO expiration? I will do my research and find out who owns this location. I will be sure that I NEVER go to any restaurants this person owns. I know I won't make a dent in their revenue, but I absolutely refuse to support businesses that think they are above the people that keep them afloat. read more

The problem from my perspective is the management they are not friendly people. I assume they think they can make enough off of tourists coming only one time. If they can , good for them. I was a frequent customer at this location. Ate here 3-4 times a week during my lunch break. I never had any incidents or issues until (April 06, 2017) I always preferred Chikfila over any other fast food chain mostly because of the customer service and friendly atmosphere. The young girl at the drive thru window accidentally short changed me 10 dollars. (No biggie) mistakes happen! I had to call them, turn around and drive back to get my money. A little frustrating but again I understand nobody is perfect. Well one of the managers (Phil) showed no remorse for the situation when he gave me my money back. The lack of sincerity in his demeanor as if he could care less. His body language towards the matter as if I was a "nobody". Well I must roughly spend close to 30 dollars a week there. 120 a month which accumulates to about 1200 a year and I will never waist another penny at this particular location in NMB. Showing a customer a little sympathy can go a long way and I know chik-fil-a understands that and takes this with great graditude. So this comes as a complete shock and took me off guard .
