I grew up in Utah and had Chick Fil A from the mall. It really isn't as amazing as everybody thinks. The fried chicken sandwiches are cooked in peanut oil so maybe that's why I don't think they are amazing. (Peanut allergy) The fries are good, the grilled chicken nuggets are good but so small. I needed a quick lunch today so I went to the drive-thru at this Chick-Fil-A. How the parking lot is situated it's a little tricky getting into the drive-thru line but I thought it was smart that they had 3 lanes you can go into instead of the typical two lanes. (After you order it turns back to 2 lanes.) They had a few employees out taking your order so that made it go fast. The girl who took my order was really friendly. We ended up eating inside because dining is now open and we needed the restroom. The bathroom was clean which is always appreciated. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich and it was so good! I loved the different toppings. It has great texture and taste. My young kids were super upset to see the playroom but not be able to go in, as we left one of the workers gave them all a cow party hat to help them be happy even though the play area is closed. It's not safe to be a walk in customer at all chick fil a restaurants. You have to dodge vehicles on the way in and out as they loop around the building. Tonight as I was leaving with my order to walk back to my vehicle; a female employee with dark hair and glasses directed a truck to pull forward Just as I was about to walk in front of it between vehicles in line. I have been enjoying Chick-Fil-A for 20+ years and I have to say that this new location just off 12th St. and Washington in Ogden is the largest and nicest one I have ever been to! It is large inside with rows of booth seating as well as some standard single tables. Beautiful views of the Ogden mountain range outside the windows and fantastic service on the inside. Outdoor seating also! Super clean at all times with quick, friendly employees. This location even has a playland area for kids and families which is a nice touch. All that added to the great food they serve adds up to a winning restaurant! read more

I love chic fil a. This review is based solely on this location. Not based of food or service but the drive thru line. I workout at the gym behind this location, and the line is always so long, it is wrapped around the rows in the parking lot. I waited for 20 minutes to get out of my parking spot today because nobody would let me out. If you are going to have a line weave through other businesses parking lots, there needs to be an employee navigating traffic. I have never been to a fast food restaurant that regularly blocked vehicles in and did nothing to change it. read more

Honestly, I don't think I have had a bad experience at any Chi-fil-a. the service is always great. You know from being there that the company focuses on customer satisfaction and creating an environment where their customers feel like they are valued and respected. I love it. The food is good but of course its glorified fast food. Its not like its any better than fast food but the reason why I choose this over other fast food is because of the way they run their business and the atmosphere they maintain. Of course their chicken is always delicious, however their cookies are never just right- not even close. Either they are severely undercooked or completely crisped. Quite a number of times they have been "out" of cookies as well. Poor planning/business management and never once have they cared to make my cookie purchases right, even after I had taken the cookies back and showed them the pile of nearly raw cookie dough or crisped mounds of over-baked dough. So if I'm out for a sweet treat and I'm craving a delicious chocolate chip cookie, I'd rather drive out to the river sale store than stop at this 12th street restaurant- it's just not with the hassle or the price. read more

I like Chick-Fil-A, however, this location is not up to par with other Chick's. I have done the drive thru thing here a few times now and each time was a disappointment. They fill your beverage cup 3/4 of the way with packed ice, which leaves you with very little of the actual drink you ordered. They don't understand the concept of a half & half or an Arnold Palmer, even when ordering a half ice tea, half lemonade... It's always just lemonade. They never give out mints, croutons for salads or other condiments that go with the order. And lastly, their chicken always has the gross grisly bit. Even the chicken nuggets. I am closer to this location, but much prefer driving the extra distance to go to the one on 35th and Wall. They get it right! read more

Service and customer service is amazing here. Everything about my experience here was memorable. First impressions set the mood and this location was on point. Friendly smile along with open friendly dialogue. I don't really do reviews but use yelp as a resource but felt compelled to. My food was delivered in a timely fashion but the manger brought it over and apologized for my wait and offered me 2 free sandwiches. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Apologies were sincere and unsolicited. It was as though you could feel a positive energy stemming from this place. I've had chick-fil-a before and had good experiences ... for this this one to impress me says something about this location. Their training process works well here and they seem to take a lot pride in all that do(something that's hard to instill). I'm from Hawaii and love chick-fil-a and all it stands for. I had the most amazing experience here. I went through the drive thru to order some chicken and when I got to the window, I realized I had forgotten my debit card. I pulled into the parking lot and went inside to let someone know that I was going to run to the ATM to get cash so they would not throw my food away. The manager walked right up to me, said "What was your order?" I told him what it was and he said "That happens to the best of us. We will take care of you today. Don't worry about going to the ATM." I responded in shock with "Are you sure? I have every intention to pay. This is like $12.00 in food." He said "Don't worry about it, we got you." I cannot get over how incredibly kind and generous the manager and staff members are there. Now, this review is not to let you know that you can take advantage of people, but to tell you how incredibly important customer service is to Chick-Fil-A near 12th and Washington. Let me start by saying I have long admired how Chick Filet provides customer Service, Quality Food, and serves so many customers efficiently, but....I've noticed a disappointing trend in how they've treated customers, which is why I reduced them to 2 stars. In a down - economy as we are all in, no business can afford to take their customers for granted. I drove the extra distance today to eat at the Ogden location, and hoping I could walk into an air conditioned building and sit down to enjoy my favorites (I guess I'm just tired of eating food out of my lap in my truck in the hot summer). Several other businesses nearby all welcome -safe- open dining as well as drive-through. Sadly, this location still only offers drive-through. So in my disappointment I got in line and waited 18 minutes from the time I entered the line to the time I was finally handed my food. I could tell they felt overwhelmed and I was just an addition to their feeling overwhelmed. I thought the line moved so slowly and couldn't help but notice the hosts of trucks, cars, and so forth with engine idling and hot summer temps thinking this has to be great for our carbon footprint and "smog"...Then, when I finally got to the window where an employee handed me my food, she rushed over to the window grab the food and rather than facing me and thanking me, expected me to intercept the "sippy-cup-sized" water and bag while her head was turned clear around shouting at other employees that someone had arrived for their mobile catering. No apology for the longer than normal wait was expressed. Not a thank you was said. I was a clear nuisance to their business today. I'm not sure I want to go out of the way to support a business who clearly sees me as a problem. So many other restaurants nearby would be far more grateful for my patronage. read more
