I've never been, so I did this evening and let me tell you it was one of the craziest experiences. I went through the drive thru and the nicest women greeted us and waited as we took time to look at the menu. She let us split the order and when we got to the window again one of the nicest men took our money and with a smile handed us our bags with no time wasted and told us to have a great night! I only ordered two sandwich and I just don't get it how could them be in the wrong box. The man who served us, Lawrence, who I believe is the manager was so friendly, helpful, and efficient and was juggling a huge lunch rush with the rest of the staff with ease. My sister and I had to come to Lansing from Bay City, for her dog Frankie,to see an eye specialist. When we were finished we were hungry, so I checked out this location, since it is the closest to us and I had it on my bucket list. We found it easily and decided to go through the drive thru. The person taking our order was very friendly, recommending something for a first timer. The window person was very friendly and when we asked about sitting in the picnic area with the dog, she they are welcome, in fact they were having fun dog event that weekend. We sat in the parking lot and enjoyed our food, the sandwich and fries were delicious. My sister went inside to ask for water for the dog and they also gave her some dog treats, nice touch. I liked the sandwich so much I went back through the drive thru and got some nuggets to take home. Very tasty sandwich and great service. read more

Disappointment has struck. I placed my order online using their mobile app and was confident everything would go well. Upon arriving at Chick-fil-A (approximately 30 minutes after placing my order), I drove thru the drive thru and indicated that I have arrived. I was promptly ushered to the drive thru window where the manager was there to tell me that my order could not be completed because they were unprepared for serving soup. The manager further indicated the soup would be ready in 20-30 minutes. This makes me wonder if I was the only person to order soup as a side or was this location lacking in their capabilities to serve the public. I was offered to take a different side, so I chose the waffle fries. When I arrived back at work with my order, I looked to see what I had in the bags. Everything seemed to be there. The chicken sandwiches were good as usual. The shakes were great, however would have been better if they included the usual spoons they provide. The fries were below standard. If you're pushing the fries instead of soup, you should at least prepare them so that they are done. I do not enjoy cold potatoes pawned off as fries. I'm hoping this was just an "off" day for Chick-fil-A. read more

Decided to stop here for dinner after tailgating for the MSU football game. It was one of the best locations that I have been to in terms of customer service and friendliness. Had the Chick-Fil-A Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries and a Medium Cherry Coke. The quality of the meat for the chicken sandwich was very good. The waffle fries are some of the best that I have had for a fast casual restaurant. An employee even dropped off mints at our table. Would recommend this location to anyone. read more

Stopped by here for the first time this afternoon and decided to go through the drive-thru. I had the chicken sandwich meal with the added lettuce, tomato and cheese. The signature sauce is very good. The person taking my order was very professional, friendly and efficient. The one hiccup in this whole experience was dealing with the person who actually collected the money and handed out the food. I was handed a lot of napkins and two straws for my one drink. The person explained that she was giving me extra napkins because my drink was overflowing the lid (which it was) and I asked for a new drink since I did not want to wear the soda or spill it all over my car. Next I tried to hand back the extra straw. She did not want it back. Then, I handed her the cash for the transaction...exact change but I needed three dollars back. The employee handed me my three dollars with the receipt stuck in between the dollars and a nickel on top, which I did not see till it fell on the ground. The employee said, "Your change just fell on the ground." I told her that I had given her exact change and she got pretty rude, insisting that it was my money. Since I wasn't going to fight with this person about a nickel, I just smiled and drove off. I am not sure how long this place has been open but I think you need to supervise the people at the window a little more closely. Customer Service is key! read more

What an amazing place to eat and play with your children. It's so kid friendly! Staff are so patient and polite and fresh flowers on every table setting is a treat! All products; cups, napkins, flowers, fresh fruit, foods are based here in Michigan, trying their best, locally first. Supporting the local community. The owner lives in Okemos and took an awesome opportunity to move from out of state and raise his family here. First time ever eating at any of these resteraunts and service was awful. Did an online order went to pick it up. First, Took longer for my order than people that ordered in regular line . Second, screwed up my order not once ,but 3 times. Then after checking and rechecking my order they assured me that everything was there. I got home to find out they still forgot a meal! To top it all off, they had put bad tomatoes on my sandwich. I complained to cooperate about this and got a response of these chains are privately owned. This happened last Saturday and still no response from owner or manger of this store? Really disappointed in how I was treated and how whole experience was. I would recommend going to a different store that might care more about how their customers were treated. I can't say enough positive comments about our experience at Chick-Fil-A in Okemos, Michigan. We took a group of 30 students to their restaurant and were blown away by their preparation, patience, and overall care for every person in our party. We called in advance to let them know that we were coming but did not ask for anything special. When we arrived they had a Chick-Fil-A paper cap for every student, had ample staffing, and were ready to go! During our meal they went above and beyond by bringing out their cow mascot for every student to hug and eat with. From there, they also provided a small cow stuffed animal for every student. I could not have been more please with their ability to handle our large group in a calm manner, while still meeting everyone's needs. Not a single order was wrong and every student had a smile on their face. Thank you Chick-Fil-A for making our trip such a wonderful experience for students and teachers alike! read more
