    All done. Great meal!

I'm a huge fan of Chick-fil-a for over 20 years, and I'm delighted they finally found their way to West Omaha. This one isn't quite as friendly and helpful as other locations I've been to over the years, but they're nice enough to suit me. And the food is always outstanding. Real chicken breast, cooked fresh, rather than bits and pieces of mystery meat like others serve. Love the waffle fries and yummy peach shakes, too. Another favorite is the chicken salad sandwich. It is the standard by which all other chicken salad is measured. In the chilly months, the chicken soup is a perfect accompaniment to a sandwich, but not hearty enough to have as the only item in the meal. They serve breakfast, but I haven't tried that yet and haven't seen reviews for it. To be aware of: ** They need to put a bit more effort into housekeeping. Even during relatively slow times, tables and floors need attention. ** There is a play area for kids. It must be a fun one because this place draws a lot of families, and parents in West Omaha seem to have some neighborhood rule *against* teaching their kids how to use a quieter voice inside, not climb on tables, etc. If rowdy kids delight your heart, this is the place for you.

Love that we finally get a Chick-Fil-A out West! We have literally been counting down the days until they opened and now they're here. I'm not crazy enough to camp out for their "First 100" but we were crazy enough to go eat there for dinner on opening day! We arrive shortly after 5pm on Thursday/Opening day. The drive through was cray cray, however, the inside wasn't as bad. From the time we walked through the doors until we ordered was about 7 minutes and the food came to our table in under 5 minutes. Also we were handed cookie samples while waiting in line and they are amazing! You could tell they were overstaffed for opening day which meant you probably bumped and tripped over at least one employee, BUT it also meant the tables were spotless, drinks were quickly refilled, and employees threw away our trash. Much like the service if a sit down restaurant! (Obviously that probably won't be how it is forever) Food was perfect, hot and delicious and everyone was friendly. Bathrooms were really clean as well (considering how busy it was) and there was no shortage of yummy sauces! The owner of this location, Stu, is a really nice guy so be sure to say hi to him. See you guys soon!

Nice spot in Village Pointe to grab something in between, before or after shopping with the family!…read moreWe made a reservation and were able to get seated ahead of time which is always nice. If you get a choice of spots to sit, I would request not to sit on west side of restaurant where there is a long bench seat and tables lined up. It felt pretty close together, a little too cozy for me. The table next to us was in our conversation too often and we could definitely hear their conversation just fine. I'm also not sure what our "Universal Service Fee" was for, but wasn't an outrageous fee. We paid cash trying to avoid the extra fees. In all, it's a good spot as long as you get to chat with your party and not have unintended visitors from neighboring tables.

Gilberts you've been knocked down to number 2. I love the calamari and the dips they came with. It has the perfect chew and wasn't overcooked. It's hard to remember, but I believe my husband had some kind of chicken Alfredo or pasta. He has to write his own review. It was good. I also had a wedge salad, which was delicious as well. The ambience of 402 is nice and seems upscale but at the same time casual. I like that because we weren't dressed up. The waiters and waitresses wore T-shirts and jeans, but the atmosphere is still fancy for a nice date night.

Noodles & Greens is a "ghost kitchen" out of Firebirds (only available via delivery on GrubHub,…read moreDoorDash, etc) I wanted something a bit lighter one day when I was sick and didn't want to leave the house or cook, so I found something that kind of sounded ok on DoorDash, and that's how I came upon Noodles & Greens. I ordered the Creamy Tomato Sauce Combo for my pasta and added grilled chicken for a bit of heartiness. It was super dry when it arrived, and I'm not sure if they just don't use a lot of the sauce or if it soaked into the noodles on the way or what. The chicken on top was fine but the lack of sauce was not my favorite. For the "combo" side, I did a Caesar salad and that was luckily without issues. It was equal size to the pasta entree I got, so that was nice to see they didn't skimp on the salad. I also grabbed a few more sides in case I was hungry later or my main entree wasn't great (which was the case). I got the Killer Mac (in a child size so I didn't waste too much food). It definitely tasted like a fancy version of Kraft Mac and cheese, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you like that. This child size was also the same size as the adult sized entree I got. My child size macaroni came with a side of fries (in case I felt up to eating them) and those were actually pretty tasty, but it's hard to mess up fries. I also got a juice box which was probably the best part of the meal. I think when I saw this was run out of Firebirds, I expected a little higher quality, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for the entire order.

So no dine-in experience here--just you, your couch, and some takeout containers. The first time I ordered, I tried the Killer Mac--once plain and once with grilled chicken. It was good, but I think I was expecting more. At first glance, the mac and cheese looked dry, but the cheese sauce had actually settled at the bottom. A quick stir helped bring it all together. The dish itself was solid, just a little underwhelming. The sauce was thinner than I'd hoped, and for something with "killer" in the name, I expected a bolder, more flavorful punch. That said, the BBQ Salmon Salad more than redeemed the experience. It was absolutely loaded with toppings--tomatoes, bacon, sliced hard-boiled egg, charred corn salsa, and cheese--with a BBQ-glazed salmon filet that was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It's now my go-to when I'm craving a salad that actually feels like a full, satisfying meal. Since this is delivery-only, I can't speak to the Noodles and Greens restaurant space itself, but having eaten at Firebirds in the past, I know the environment is clean and the service is great. Noodles and Greens is a good option for when you're looking for something a little different from the usual takeout--fresh, hearty salads or comforting pasta dishes without leaving home. Just maybe skip the Killer Mac and go straight for that salmon.

I'm not sure anyone had an amazing bite but the menu was large so there is still potential! I will say the one thing that stood out the most to me was the flavor. If the menu item said chipotle, Parmesan, honey, etc then that flavor was there and you could not get away from it! I had Parmesan in my potatoes and salad and it was overpowering. And my friend got the chipotle potatoes au gratin and said he could barely get the potato flavor. We all had the three course meal and most of us got the steak. We all ordered at different temperatures including medium well and they all came out rare or just uneven. It was good flavor and it wasn't too chewy so we all just ate it with no complaints! Along with the three course meal was a mini dessert so we all tried each and they all fell flat. We did get them to-go so maybe that had something to do with it but even a simple brownie wasn't anything great. Overall I want to chalk it up to wrong ordering and hope to come back and try other menu items and some suggestions!

First time here tonight, and it didn't disappoint!…read more We were seated within five minutes. A few minutes later, we were asked to move to a different booth, which was no problem at all. The restaurant was very busy for a Friday night. I wasn't expecting it to be so large, but there is plenty of seating, including bar area and outdoor seating. The décor is modern and inviting, with lots of plants and beautiful gold accents. For drinks, we tried the Donatella, which is made with gin, grapefruit, honey, and lemon. We also had the Pomegranate Mule, which was light and refreshing. For my entrée, I ordered the Braised Short Rib Marsala, served with beech mushrooms, snap peas, heirloom carrots, and black truffle risotto. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan, which came with crushed tomato sauce, aged provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, and rigatoni. Both meals were delicious and full of flavor. My short rib was tender, although a few pieces had a bit more fat than I would have preferred. The prices were on the higher side, but when the food quality is this good, it's hard to complain. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.
