Very flavorful veggies as well. Really couldn't have been any better. I also got a side of hummus with the chips. I got the Hummus Stacked Bowl to go. So much hummus on the bottom it was like hummus soup...and that would typically be fine, except the hummus was just "ok." It was definitely on the thin side and there were less roasted veggies (a piece of cauliflower and mostly zucchini with essentially no flavor of their own) than I anticipated there would be. I was thinking that the lamb would be real lamb steak chunks since it was pricer than the beef option, but it was gyro meat texture. Granted, the gyro was DELICIOUS. The best bite of the bowl, probably the best gyro meat I've had. I thought there would be a decent amount of fresh tomatoes on top, but no dice. I think I maybe got four cherry tomatoes halves. The pita was good enough, unremarkable. I've eaten a decent amount of Mediterranean food and worked at a Greek restaurant for three years, and this meal didn't live up to my expectations. With the to-go plating, the meat was on one side and hummus and veggies were on the other side of a partitioned container. It just felt weird. They delivered it themselves and not a delivery service like door dash which I appreciated as delivery service drivers tend to handle large food orders in a more...carefree manner. The delivery person was a delight and set everything up in a thoughtful manner. The food was delicious. The portions were insane. They had gluten free pita. Came here just for a casual dinner, you order at the front and then they bring the food to your seat. they also had a lot of staff clearing tables continuously so if there wasn't a seat right away, one opened pretty quick! the food was amazing. 1st time eating here, didn't realize it was counter-service ordering. You order at the register, pay, grab a drink and a table number and they bring it out to you. Fast-casual set up which made it very quick, but they give you real nice plates, bowls and silverware. I got a Big Bowl with Lamb and get potatoes, rice and veggies. The produce is all very fresh, the dishes are well-seasoned, and the pita is warm, fresh, and not bland like so many others. I ordered a side of lamb Shawarma and it was so greasy. I understand lamb is usually not a lean meat, but it was dripping with grease and I had to use several napkins to soak up some of it. A bright spot was the watermelon radishes on the veggie plate. I see these so infrequently when I'm dining out and it was a lovely surprise and also added beautiful color to the plate. Meddys is a modern, casual restaurant in the Village Point shopping center. I love this spot! The portions are HUGE and the atmosphere is fun and light. I ordered the Meddys Main Plate and it was so colorful. The Spanish Eggplant side surprised me when it came out as it was served like a soup. I was pleased to find the mixture was warm and hearty. I had the lamb and it was delicious, and so tender. I got to try the hummus and it was also really tasty. We waited in a short line to order. I like that they have paper menus to review while you wait, so ordering is quick. Once seated there are several staff members to refill waters and run orders. When we went it was a beautiful evening and they had the patio doors open to let in some fresh air. They also serve complementary pita bread and olive oil. I have to mention the amazing price point. My entree was around $17 and was excellent quality. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. I would highly recommend Meddys! read more

Wow wow wow, what an incredible addition to the Village Pointe area! This restaurant is an elevated quick service meal, that is one of the best Mediterranean food places I've had in awhile. You order up front, and then you seat your self with a number card. There was lots of seating inside and outside, but the place definitely fills up quickly. I loved how there was even a bar if you wanted a little drink with your meal. There were lots of options whether you were gluten free, vegan, etc. They even had gf pita, which I was excited for. Everything is decently priced, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. I went with the garlicky chicken. It was so crispy, and moist. The sauce was very garlicky, but I love garlic so was happy. The hummus was one of the best tasting hummuses I've ever had. I did try some of their free sauces, and the red pepper aioli was one of my favorites. The service was also incredible. The staff checked on us multiple times throughout our meal, and got us refills whenever we were getting low on our drinks.
