Chick-fil-A - Fast Food Near Me - Palmdale, California

I have no idea what happened to the great service this establishment use to provide. From taking over 30 mins to bring out two meal orders, forgetting the condiments, forgetting free redeemed items (or even the one you paid for), it's getting ridiculous. I understand if there is an influx of customers coming in and out, but the times they've taken long to bring out our food, there was no such customers in sight. When using curbside pickup, checking our order, only to see the condiments we listed are missing or partial of the order is missing. Prompting us to get down from the car and wait until one of the employees decides to acknowledge us and we then have to request the sauces or the items. I'm not sure how many times we need to submit a complaint to the store or even call the number provided by the app, but it seems like management doesn't care to improve its service. A really shame to what it use to be like. This specific restaurant gets 1/10 from me. read more

I ordered 3 breakfast burrito meals and 1 egg white breakfast sandwich. When I opened my sandwich it was a fried spicy chicken biscuit. I went back to the restaurant but by this time breakfast was over. I spoke with the cashier that told the manager what happened. The pregnant manager said all they could do is give me a fried chicken sandwich because of a price difference and sent the cashier to tell me. I told her I didn't want something fried that's why I got an egg white and grilled chicken breakfast sandwich and asked to speak to the manager. The manager walked to the register 5 minutes later did something on it said we can do grilled but there's a price difference and walked away never looking at me or speaking directly to me. The cashier was kind walked over and asked did she help you. I said she said something about grilled and walked away so I have no idea what's going on. The cashier walked over to where the manager went and came back and said she saw it on the screen for a grilled sandwich and it should be ready in a few minutes. The manager never apologized and dismissed me not asking what I'd like after they made the mistake and could not resolve it because it was 10 minutes after breakfast ended by the time I returned. The sandwich I was given was terrible and not what I would have ever asked for. The customer service was so bad by her and she's the leader who should be the example. read more

One extra star for finally opening the playground! Love the convenience of mobile ordering from your table!! Helps so much when you have a little one in said playground, On the down side. Here is the actual picture of my '$10.39 + tax 8-piece nugget meal. Did the box get bigger or nuggets get smaller? Cane's opening down the street will be tough competition. I love chick-fil-a! It's usually very busy, I go thru the drive thru mostly. The last 2 times I was in the drive thru and the person in front of me was holding up the line because she couldn't find her credit card. I wish they would ask them to move out of the line and find their payment because it's so annoying. I coextensive a delay getting thru the line but not when there is only 1 car ahead of me. For a fast food restaurant, I'm quite impressed at the speedy service. I placed my order through the app which I highly recommend instead of waiting in the drive through lane, since it goes out into the Blvd traffic. I placed my order before getting there, once I find a curbside pickup parking spot, I input my parking number into the app (check in) then I just waited like 5 mins for a masked employee to bring out my order to my car. It was quick to get the food and leave. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe and was so delicious, just disappointed that they forgot to include my chick fil a sauce, ketchup. They always seem to forget the condiments so hopefully they fix that so I could give them 5 stars. Along with maybe filling up the medium sized fries a bit more, they are filled the same as a small. Best thing in the AV, bar none! Staff is always super friendly (for being a Chick-fil-a, it'd better be!). Prices are reasonable for the quality to portion ratio. More g-free options have been added to their menu as of lately with the availability of the new g-free bun option for the grilled chicken sandwich. My whole family loves Chick-Fil-A and we definitely prefer this location over the Lancaster one! It's ran so much more efficiently and makes for a quicker visit. I like the staff here better also. Everyone has been great, but Tony is the employee that stands out the most to me. He is always so nice and helpful. I usually encounter him while in the drive thru and he is just so pleasant to talk to. It's hard to find good employees, so keep this one around! His customer service is great. read more

It is SO frustrating to order through either UberEats OR DoorDash to have you order delivered and it is incorrect or missing items. This is the SECOND time this has happened. And I am infuriated because the items are more expensive through these apps; and to not get the fucking dressing for my salad NOT ONCE BUT TWICE if IRRITATING! So as my family eats, I do not; because I don't keep salad dressing in my house. I literally want to curse out WHOMEVER handles the to go orders. Terrible customer service for a Chic Fil A. I try walking in, and I'm greeted by someone saying they're closed even though it was before 9pm. I use the drive thru and I ask for them to refill my water bottle. They say they can't but they can give me a water cup. I ask if they can throw a used cup away so I can make room for the water cup, and they say they can't cause they have no trash can. No trash can.. in a restaurant.. that sells food. Never thought I would have to do this; I was raised on Chick-fil-A as I'm from the South originally and it was my mom's favorite chicken place at the malls. I even have a Chick-fil-A cow in my front dash, which people laugh at but I love. I have introduced so many friends to the deliciousness that is the chicken strips, the chicken sandwiches, the lemonade, the peach shakes (seasonal) and the outstanding and polite service, because for a "fast food" spot it can't be beat. When the app was introduced, it was the first fast food app I downloaded and I used it a couple of times a month to order for inside pickup and LOVED LOVED LOVED walking in, going to the side table and getting my order ahead of the huuuuuge line. During COVID, I ordered curbside and have never been disappointed. Until today. I am on a Keto diet and have been for 3 1/2 years, so the chicken strips have been out but the grilled chicken nuggets are a GREAT substitution and while I miss that sweet coating, the chicken is still soooo delicious and it's kind of my "guilty pleasure" because I always order some original dipping sauces (which aren't really too keto-friendly). I paid $5.79 for 8 grilled chicken nuggets -see image of the biggest and the smallest ones -- really? that's a nugget??? The small one was like a piece of chicken fell off and they tossed it in - $5.79 (that did include tax) for about 4 oz of fast food chicken??? Also NO sauces in the bag, despite it being on the receipt ... I asked for a manager - she said Yup - those are our nuggets - no one else complains. I said I wanted my money back she said okay she needed to take my credit card inside to do that or she could give me a reward on my app - I took the reward because honestly, I didn't want to give her my card to take inside -- I was in my car and couldn't see what was happening inside the store. I'm doing this Yelp because this is NOT what ANYONE should get or expect from a Chick-fil-A EVER. I did receive an email from "Randall Brookshire," who is NOT the manager I spoke to during my lunch today -- and there are no identifying titles listed in his signature - just: All the best, Randall Brookshire Palmdale. The email reads I will receive my "reward" via my app in a few days - well that was nice, I get a free order of 8 grilled nuggets but if they come out as poorly as today's order, really, why bother? I was so hungry and so disappointed I decided to hit up Carl's Jr. and get a lettuce-wrapped jalapeno cheese burger and it was AMAZING. And half the price (it was a junior burger LOL) - Today was NOT my pleasure to eat at Chick-fil-A and I'm not sure when I'll be back -- oh well, by Feb. 10, 2021, as that's the day my "reward" expires. read more

Chick-fil-A stands out from other restaurants because their employees are always very friendly and helpful. I love their waffle fries and chicken nuggets and strips. Their sweet tea is delicious! I tried their chicken biscuit, chicken strips, Chick-fil-A sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich and all were great. I especially love their variety of sauces. I always dip my chicken in Buffalo and Chick-fil-A sauce. I've met many employees from the grand opening team and they were all great. To name a few, Jessica, Diane, Jeanie, Abby, and Randall. I've only been at the restaurant before the official grand opening and everything was clean. Food was hot and delicious. I will definitely be back multiple times throughout the upcoming year! They have 2 drive thru entrances which will be helpful during the rushes. read more

There is some room for improvement at this Chick-fil-A. It is fairly new having only been open a couple of months. They seem to be consistently crowded so the people of Palmdale seem to be enjoying it. I feel the restaurant I visited in Charlotte, NC did a better job. That is not to say this one in Palmdale doesn't have its merits. Customer service was excellent. The cashier was friendly and accurate. The meal was ready very quickly. My mom and I didn't even have our drinks yet when the food was placed in front of us. We each ordered a standard Chick-Fil-A sandwich (a bun with a fried chicken breast and two pickles). I got the combo and we shared the waffle fries. There were a lot of fries but I wish they were better like I remember them being back east. These had potential but were either over cooked or had been setting out for a spell. They weren't burnt by any means but they were dry. We also seemed to get the bottom of the barrel as we received a lot of little fries fragments. The sandwiches were better. The chicken is real whole chicken breast rather than the chopped and formed patties you get elsewhere. It was tender and well seasoned. The two pickles that accompany the chicken breast on the sandwich are a great compliment. We both used a little bit of honey mustard on the the bun but I imagine ranch dressing would go well too. I may stop in the next time I am in town. Or I may just wait until they start opening up around Las Vegas. read more

What happened to the best customer service role model in all industries. This place is something else. We waited in line prior to 1030am for breakfast, at 1018am to be exact. At 1030 when the attendant walked to take our order he asked us to wait so he can turn around the menu, to lunch. Then with a straight face said sorry no more breakfast. When we asked to speak to the manager they both didn't care. It was like no , we have no more breakfast. Is this what this place has lowered its standards too. In the past I never had this issue. Just a few weeks back at the Pasadena store we were in line before 1030am. The attendants were kind to let people know that they were getting ready to switch to lunch. They ask if anyone had breakfast orders. Then we're kind enough to communicate. They made us even curse something that we normally don't do. But this second Manager was worthless, she needs to be trained on dealing with issues and solving them. Simple fact that both managers were basically worthless leads me to believe that corporate offices need to talk to these managers. I have never been to a Chick-fil-A before today, so I decided to give it a try. Got chicken strips for me and chicken nuggets (classic) for the kids and we all liked it. The drive-thru was quick (they've got 2 ordering lanes) and the employees were great, though a little over the top. They must've said 'Absolutely!' at least 4 times. My kids laughed when we were greeted with "Welcome to the magical Chick-fil-A..." (I'm paraphrasing but I know they used the word "magical"). We were looking for a pit stop en route to Tehachapi and stopped at this Chick Fil A. It was very clean and a perfect quick stop. There is a kids play area with a slide. Very fun area for the kids! The food itself came out fast and service was great. Our fries were super crispy and fresh! This chick was also very modern with trash cans that were motion sensor. So cool! I don't know what's happening to some Chik fil a employees I've been coming to this specifically Location for 5 years on Rancho Vista. Everything was really good for a while. Great Customer Service, very attentive and professional employees. But somehow by the end of 2023 year and now early 2024 it seemed to change. Some of the employees seem careless and I say some because not all of them but I see new faces at this location. These New Employees need more training especially on providing Great Customer Service just like before. I go here very often and on my last trips I've done here I have to get up from my table to ask for sauces or refills usually employees would right away ask if I needed something and now it's like if they can just move me aside,they would do it so that I can let them pass by. But they just stand there and be talking and laughing with there other coworkers. And I'm like hello my food will be getting cold. So I've waited to be asked what I need for over 5 minutes and I mean it because I timed it. Please Chik fil a do better! Feeling disappointed with your new employees.
