We love this place! Our absolute favorite restaurant! The food is amazing and everything tastes like grandma's cooking. It's so comfortable and inviting. They always have great music on and the service is always excellent.

... I'm guessing he was a chef. Sees my empty bowl and says "... you killed it. Extra shrimp and all. Wha'cha gunna do now? Nothing you eat from now on will have flavor like that. Wha'cha gunna do? Everything you eat just gunna make you sad. I guess we'll see you tomorrow." ... prolly not tomorrow but I'll definitely be back.

Off the beaten track, but fabulous food. Might be the best shrimp and grits I ever ate! I enjoyed a very large sweet tea with it. the place is not fancy, but the staff is friendly and the food was amazing.

I came here on a 12:30 on a Saturday and was able to get seated immediately. The venue is pretty small and I ended up parking in a lot across the street. It really feels like a hidden gem. It really feels like stepping into a mom and pop shop. I wanted to order a chicken jambalaya but it wasn't available so I ordered the crawfish jambalaya instead. I also subbed in dirty rice. The food took 10 minutes to arrive and it ended up up having chicken, sausage, and crawfish. I normally don't eat crawfish but this was delicious. I was scared for a second that I would have to peel it myself but thankfully everything was peeled. The garlic bread was good and so was the dirty rice. I ordered level 3 spice and I think it was perfect. I feel like I could do a 4 but the spice builds up over time. This was pretty good comfort food.

I enjoyed the heavenly jambalaya I ordered yesterday. Authentic flavor, delightful taste. Rice cooked properly. Lots of chicken and sausage. My main complaint is that I paid an extra $9 for shrimp and crawfish. There were literally 4 shrimps, maybe 5. They were fresh tasting, but severely lacking. Then there's the lack of crawfish. No decent sized crawfish, they were literally 1/2" long! Little portions! So the seafood was very disappointing. The peach cobbler came out piping hot and was exquisite. Overall positive and I'll be coming back again.

Loved everything about Lee Esther's Creole and Cajun. Top service. Ordered the macaroni and cheese crab balls and fish dish. Extraordinary flavoring. Can't stop thinking about how good my lunch was! The customer dining next to me said she's from New Orleans and this food is the real deal. Highest recommendation.

Came to Lancaster from LA with the sole purpose of trying this place. Service was amazing, our waitress was this gorgeous black girl with eyelash extensions who was a sweetheart. The lady at the cash register was also very sweet. Funny enough the other customers inside the restaurant were also a great vibe. This was my first time trying shrimp po boy, and it was amazing. Bro don't even get me started on the yams they were so good. The vibes inside the restaurant were also great. My friend and I will definitely be back to try the Jambalaya.

Boudin Balls - always have to stop by when I am in Palmdale

This place is nostalgic for me. It takes me back to those summers in the south. Good food. Family. Good company. Boudin is actually my favorite thing. When I was a youth, we could only have a little portion of the link my grandfather would personally buy and bring from Louisiana until he learned how to make it himself. He has been gone for 20 plus years now and Boudin is not sold in your family grocery store and hard to find so when you find someone who can make it, you stop in and patronize every chance you get. I have enjoyed their other dishes but these Boudin balls are good when I cant get the links! I will be back again, next time I am out that way.

The best creole and Cajun cooking I've had in southern CA. I tried the Louisiana Cajun Bowl and Crawfish Jambalaya and both were AMAZING! I wish this place was closer to my home in the South Bay Area but when in Palmdale, this is one of my favorite places!

Do they still have chicken and waffles special? I hope they bring it back again By the way the food here is delicious I've been here more than once and my family loves it too

Hello Maria, We are not serving chicken & waffles at this time. However, we serve Smothered Chicken on Wednesdays and our Cajun Chicken bowl and Cajun Chicken sandwich daily.…

Is there outdoor dining during covid?

Not from what I've seen. But there still is delicious food to go

Is it black owned? And to the people asking me why does it matter? Ask your ancestors. IT MATTERS! Black lives matters! Black businesses MATTER. The black dollar MATTERS. And I'm proud to put my dollar in my brothers and sisters hand PERIODT.

Yes it is and he is a really nice man. I am glad he is succeeding. Just like the Asians support each other and in Vallarta grocery store they only hire Hispanics. So why does it have to be if it is Black Owned it shouldnt matter🤔🤔 Yes it matters…

Butcher paper are placed on our tables with menus following. We ordered Boba, strawberry smoothies (our smoothies weren't quite sweet enough, and something was missing to make them the best they could be), and Sprite (in a bottle). We also ordered two lobster tails, which came with two corn and two potato sides and Combo Grilled Platters. The lobster tails were generous, packed with meat and flavor. Rolling Crab offers a variety of flavors: Rolling Crab Classic, Louisiana Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Butter. Bibs and gloves are available, and you can choose the lobster tails mild, medium, or super spicy, or go for the original. They come in buckets. The Combo Grilled Platters were generous portions, though we wished for more shrimp. The flavor was excellent, though. The restaurant was clean and cozy, with a small space that could easily accommodate a large group. We didn't feel rushed at all, even though it wasn't packed. We noticed a lot of takeout orders, but overall, the service was great, and the food was delicious. We're definitely planning to return!

Took me awhile to do this review…read more THE FOOD LOOKS VERY ADVERTISING looks great very photogenic looking!!!!! but unfortunately SMH I place the order at 3:43p.m. on Sunday November 17. I have my six year old niece visiting me for the weekend so I figure I'll do some takeout. traditionally in my family we enjoy Soul Food on a Sunday. Typically when you order soul food you expect to pay and get your money's worth!!!!!! (((((MONEYS WORTH))))KEY!!! When you order soul food the plates are normally big enough for two people. When i order my food the lady did inform me that she was doing a catering event and she will have to get to me last on the list she kept me fully updated that was consistent with communication gd. ((((8:38pm)))) we finally finally finally received our order. Here's where everything turned left. When I received my plate from her very unprofessional and rude passenger I noticed the plate was very light practically empty so I stood there expecting to receive another when I didn't I said Thank you gave them a smile walked away. Here's what i received. After a 6h wait i received 4 LITTLE pieces of party wings that were dry and cold. 1tbsp literally 1 tbsp of macaroni cheese literally 1 tbsp of greens which I did not ask for and a dry inflatable piece of dessert that we do not order that's all I got for $21 my niece ate it all a six-year-old And ask for more because it wasn't much in the beginning I didn't get an opportunity to really taste the food like I said great advertisement.
