The drive-thru moves, but only after you question some life choices. No dine-in, just a covered outdoor area that's basically a convection oven for humans nine months of the year. And then there's the mobile order. You'll be greeted with warmth, smiles, and spotless bathrooms while your food enjoys a long nap in the kitchen. These folks are lovely, but they operate on a different time zone. The franchise owner needs a reality check and a stopwatch. Kind staff can't save a slow ship. I ordered nearly 20 nuggets & 2 orders of fries. I requested extra sauces. When i got my food i got 1 polynesian & 1 chickfila sauce. I looked at the receipt & they put the correct amount of sauces on the receipt but apparently just ignored it and gave me 1 and 1 for 20 NUGGETS & 2 orders of fries. The second I walked in and saw every single one of the White workers turn around and stare while making my order, I already knew what time it was. Instead of adding chicken nuggets like the salad normally comes, or at least chopping up the chicken, she threw a whole burnt piece of chicken on top of my salad. No apology. No accountability. Not even from the supervisor. This is exactly the problem in America right now: you don't want us in your establishments, you don't want our presence... but you have no problem taking our Black dollars. I have their App and ordered 1 frozen lemonades, 1 shake, and a 6 piece chicken nugget, waited 15 minutes. Customers not using the app were served 3 times as fast, but they still had long waits. This location is a new business model of drive through or walk up service only, no inside service and it detracts from what made them successful. Covid sent them the wrong message because having a staff ready to provide a drive up customer expecting faster service is not what this location dies very poorly. I then gave them another opportunity by using curbside pickup. I ordered 2 milk shakes, and 1 frozen lemonade. After 12 minutes I walked up to their counter and asked, the order was sitting there with the whip cream already starting to into a flat cream puddle on the shakes, and the frozen lemonade was starting to lose the frozen in the description. Unfortunately this location does not represent the ideals of the Chick-fil-a brand for customer service. After a significant delay with our mobile order, the manager Nate who claimed to be the owner of the Ocotillo location accused us of stealing the order and trying to get an additional order for free. Not once did Nate apologize for the inconvenience of the 30 minutes we waited and actually laughed when we said the customer service was subpar. Nate even went to the trouble of canceling our mobile app account to showcase his excellent customer service skills and told us to take our business elsewhere. I do not recommend the Ocotillo and Ironwood location and have never had such a negative experience at Chick-fil-a. read more
