Just stopped in after a bit of shopping at this location ( Summerfield Crossing ) the people here were wonderful. Very kind and pleasant.. at least three of them stopped by my table while I was eating breakfast... one offered me a drink, another one offered to take my tray and trash after I was finished... and as I was walking out the door, a young man told me have a blessed day. The sweetest thing happened to me at this location. I came here after waiting at junk chipotle for an hour & 11 minutes (yes, you read that right) as it was a request from my sick son. I could no longer do it, started loosing my patience above & beyond. I get to CFA where I'm greeted by a sweet girl with glasses in the drive-thru line, asks me how my night is. I told her from where I came. She apologizes on their behalf to which I said "aw no, has nothing to do with you" & continue to place my order. She comped my order . I love chick fil a but with these one they really messed up I went through the drive thru and there was a long line but is understandable because it was lunch now but they actually move pretty fast i order a spicy deluxe sandwich with a Colby cheese with fries and a cup of water. I only give it three due to the difficulty it is to maneuver through the drive-through at this location and it's always super crowded....but the staff is very nice and they take your order as quickly as they can to try to get it to you as efficiently as I can. It is just something that's beyond their control. I received an update 5 minutes after I arrived that a team member would be coming out shortly with my order. 15 minutes later and still no team member..... So I must admit that this location is the worst I've ever been to. I have lived in multiple cities/states, traveled all throughout the United States, and have probably visited damn near every Chick-fil-A. I'm a Premier member and I eat their food way more than I will admit. All that being said. I'm used to the Chick-fil-A "it's my pleasure" type of experience. This location does not give you that. You will wait 45 minutes for a curbside order or you'll be in the drive-through for at least an hour. This location is hands down the worst Chick-Fil-A location I have ever patronage. I have eaten at this brand of restaurants throughout the United States during my time in the Army as well as working for a touring event. The brands commitment to quality and customer service is what always draws me in. This location does not hold to the companies pillars set forth by S. Truett Cathy. First of all the location has to be the most poorly planned parking lot and drive through layout I have ever seen. They cone off their own exits and make it extremely difficult to maneuver around causing many to utilize the neighboring businesses parking lots primarily. This location still remains closed many months after all locations have opened in the Tampa Bay area as well as St. Petersburg, Orlando, Clermont, Sarasota, and Bradenton. Whomever is training the food preperation staff must have started their own rule of filling all Large Fries 3/4 of the way but dont worry the missing 1/4 section is conveniently used to hold your condiments that someone touches with their bare hands for your COVID dining pleasure. So we don't open our inside because of "COVID" worries but we will gleefully indirectly add extra germs to your fries free of charge. Using the App to order you can only add a specific number of condiments to each order and it comulates the total number of each condiment on the bag label for Curbside pick-up yet they someone cannot seem to count correctly even though they are single digits. If you order a shake be forewarned you will only get a teaspoon size splash of whipped cream on top of it. The staff also will not be as pleasant or cheerful as you would normally find in that uniform which I can only assume is the persona exemplified by their management and ownership. Yes, my warning and review is not my typical post. Today after 8 months of excuses and bad customer service the straw that broke the camel's back happened. I arrived at 9:30 after placing my order for Curbside pick-up only to find once I positioned my truck in its spot and opened the app to put my spot number in I was informed by the app that I had to go through the drive-thru as curbside was no longer available. Mind you that their masterfully planned parking lot does not have a way to enter their drive-thru once you are in a spot unless you leave the place completely to U-turn in the road and re-enter. So I had to do so with my truck which is not small or made for drive-thru which is why I selected curbside. Then I recieved my order with 3/4 full large fries, missing condiments, and half melted shakes. I asked to speak to a manager which I was informed one wasn't available which seemed odd since indoor eating is closed and curbside was shut off so where on earth could the manager possibly be? I asked for a manager or owners business card to be told they don't have cards. I was told to call the restaurant. The kid at the restaurant is telling me to call the restaurant I am currently at to speak with a manager. I told him that it is impossible to get someone on the phone to which he replied "Yeah I know". So he told me to leave and call someone I was asking to speak with while I was there to only know I couldn't actually get through to someone??? This is indicative of the values and ethics known at this location. If you do a Facebook or Google search on this location you will see that there are a plethora of complaints similar to my own. I would HIGHLY advise driving much further to the Bloomingdale location to enjoy your Chick-Fil-A as they care and have a management staff that are hands on. Dude I don't know if they didn't dedicate this CFA to Jesus but this location sucks!!! We first tried it back when it first opened; we did a drive up order and we waited so long (20mins) that we were almost late for work so we just left. Not wanting to pass judgement on a place working through opening weekend, I staved off my review. Let me work out the link ya know? But that was last year. This year we again tried a drive up order on our way to a job. When we pulled up my wife said the app wasn't working and received a notification to show an employee. We show an employee and he deletes our order and then says, "ugh sorry man, I hate when that happens. Oh well! Try and order again! Oh wait you don't have signal? Yeah it's terrible. Sorry I can't help you." Luckily our friend who was with us, had his phone working and reorders everything for us. We pull forward in the "drive thru/drive up lane" and proceeded to wait an extra 20 mins for our food... was it worth it? NOOOOO. All of us left there with a subpar chick fil a meal. Is this a first world problem? Sure, yeah it is. But in our defense, when you crave CFA chicken you expect CFA quality and your cravings met. I've had better experience with gas station food!!! I was so excited when I moved five minutes away from a chick-fil-a! Quickly changing my mind was this location. Absolute worst chick fil a in the entire country that I've visited and I travel A LOT!!!! You WILL NOT get your food in less than 45 mins. It is an absolute horrendous logistical set up. Indoor dining and pick up isn't an option yet "because of covid" and you can only do the 3 lane drive thru. My mobile order wouldn't even let me do curbside today. Cooperate absolutely needs to get involved with this location because it's just so sad. I so much want to just grab chick fil a on the way home from swim practices or on the weekend with my littles, but we've tried it 3x since moving here, and I won't be back, that's for absolute sure. I have very mixed reviews about this location. Due to the fact that it's right off the 301 the traffic to get in and also to get food is insane. The woman who had taken our order seemed irritated and had an attitude. When I drove up to the drive through and pulled to the stop sign, several cars beside me and behind me were getting their orders brought to their cars before me. I felt as though I was holding up the line to the cars behind me who had gotten their order.
