I ordered one medium hot and one no spice. The chicken is very tender and all white meat. It came out pipin' hot. I could only finish one of the sliders. They're pretty big. The guy at the counter was super informative and helpful. He asked if I wanted Dave's sauce, pure honey, and any other sauces and I'm so glad he asked otherwise I would not have known the sauces and the pure honey were literally the highlight on the sandwich as well. Their crinkle fries are a little on the mushy side, which I really love. I do not like crunchie crispy fries so these softer fries hit the spot. I love that they have nugget ice cubes here. It was pretty empty when I arrived luckily because I've been here before, and it was jampacked to the max line was out the door and therefore I did not wanna wait to order at that time so I'm glad I came back and it was empty. Stopped in before work a couple weeks ago. I had high expectations. I was waiting for the new to wear off. They cook a good bird and the hot is warm. What didn't care for was the price. No combos or drinks included. My two piece, one side and drink was over $17. Then they don't even brew their own sweet tea. They serve that god aweful Peak tea that come from a syrup bag like soda. It seemed carbonated. When I drink it it tasted like a coke. Not my preference. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it or go back for a second visit. Overall, the chicken is pretty good! I ordered the tender and slider combo at the Hot Spice level. The crispy chicken and spice tasted delicious. One of the workers recommended putting honey in the Dave's sauce which tasted awesome! The fries were generic crinkle cut with some spicy seasoning added on. As a PSA, while fast food, it does take some time to come out. The quality is worth it but just a heads up for those that are in a rush. My only gripe with Dave's is the menu options. I would have preferred, for example, 3-4 tenders. The only options, however, are 2 tenders or various 1 tender/slider combos. You can add on an extra tender but it costs an additional $5. Regardless, Dave's was good and I enjoyed my meal. read more

Our family loves DHC so when we saw this location on our outing we were excited. We placed an order for pickup after we left the mall. We had 10 minutes before the order would be ready when we arrived so we opted to go through drive thru to pick up the order. I'm still recovering from a hysterectomy so anything that makes it easy is all good. We waited about 9 minutes before getting to the speaker. When we got to the speaker we were asked a name for the order which I gave then proceeded to say that we were picking up a mobile order. The staff member interrupted with what sounded like a script for how you can order and the heat levels. I waited. Once done I repeated myself to which she said "hello?" So I had my daughter who was in the driver seat repeat. She immediately gave attitude stating I had to come inside to get the order. I replied asking why to which no answer ever came. So we pulled forward to the window. Waited and the lady working the window and drive thru never came to service us. Instead another worker from the kitchen area came to the window and said "what" with extremely attitude and rudeness. I said we have a mobile order to which she replied again very very rude "you have to come inside and she already told you that" "we don't give mobile orders thru drive thru". Oh it was on at that point!! This momma is going through some hormone changes with the hysterectomy and that made me HEATED. We parked and I went in. Yes, fuming but always respectful. Asking and praying to myself for patience to talk to these folks. Went inside and went to the area at the front to get my order. Guess where she pulled the order from!? An area right near the dang drive thru window!!!! I ask to speak to a manager. The young girl comes over and I ask why they don't allow pickup via drive thru and explain to her that nowhere on their site or the email confirmation does it say that you have to go inside to pick up orders. I also asked what happens if a disabled person places a mobile order and can't physically get out to get it and drive thru is their means of picking up. She said they are ok with picking up drive thru and only really discourages it when it Uber eats or DoorDash. I said well that's a totally different story then I get from your staff and why was I given such attitude by your staff whereby they refused to service me because I went through drive thru. She apologized and said that should not have happened. I am extremely heated and disappointed with the level of service I received today. The total lack of respect for your customer base is appalling and disappointing. We have ordered delivery from DHC quite a bit. But after today I have to take a break from you. read more
