So I never thought I'd post a negative review on a Chic Filet restaurant. This is the most poorly run franchise I've ever been in. Waited 30 minutes and when I asked a manager where my food was she went around the corner and told the kitchen "we have a complainer." Then she accused me of not having paid. I generally LOVE Chic-fil-a, but the service at this location isn't nearly as good as others. I had a large order that I placed through the app. When I arrived, I was told that they turned off their curbside ordering unless I drive for a delivery service. I waited in line for 23 minutes before I was able to receive my order. Every other location is much more efficient. read more

I came here only because I had a coupon for a free chicken sandwich. It was good but lacked any lettuce, tomato etc so a bit bland. But 4 stars because the people who work here are so pleasant, parking is easy and the place is clean. I think they have one person who only walks around wiping tables. read more

It's nice that they have two drive thru lanes. But, the service wasn't the typical Chick fil A that we are used to. No one was rude, just not as pleasant. They have little weird things like only being able to sell small coffee - not medium or large. Why? But, chick fil a always seem to do a better job than others for breakfast. This is the slowest Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. If you are in a hurry, don't go. If you just love waiting then this is the place for you.

I've been here many times and I really do not coming to this CFA location, probably one of the worst and slowest locations I've been to but its covenant and a better option than what's around. Not only are they slow but they have messed up my order as well. This last time I was here it was obvious that one lane was having difficulty with the payments, she went in 2x to swap out the card reader until finally someone came out with a new one and helped her get it situated. She was new and still had her training badge on. I've actually had this happen to me at other CFA locations and when this has happened the team member with working equipment would actually hop lanes so that both lines are flowing. Maybe something to consider? I waited at least 10 minutes maybe longer and no one ever apologized or offered any sort of discount or compensation which I have been given at other locations for waiting for a long time. Life is short and I'm not one to honk my horn and yell at people like I've seen many people do. But I wish they would have at least respected my time and apologized for taking so long. After sitting in one spot for 10 minutes after placing a mobile order, I get to the window and received my food right away. I was then told that I was waiting on my shake to get made and I had no problem with that. I waited 5 more minutes for a woman at the window to scream, "Order?" after giving her my name and order they proceeded to give me a shake that was made incorrectly after the really nice lady that was running food to other cars, told them the specifics of my order. I've been very disappointed with my last few trips to CFA, whether it has been the food quality or the service but i had high hopes for the one on Dave Lyle. I understand that this time of year is busy and stressful but this is a customer service job and as a customer that treats everyone with respect, I expect the same. Updating my previous review after 10 months and a couple of visits. Same thing all over again. I've specifically asked for my egg white grill to be toasted and it isn't. Every. Single. Time. I'm officially done going to this Chick fil A. I really like the egg white grills because they're delicious and they're relatively healthy for fast food breakfast, but it isn't worth wasting my money on if I can't even eat the thing. I even spoke to the owner about this issue on Facebook. She said that their toaster was broken, okay. No problem. But, again, that has been 6+ months ago. Disappointing that Chick-Fil-A announced the teacher appreciation event but this location didn't honor it. After a long day of teaching I wanted to be able to grab my free sandwich as well as pay for my fries and drink. Once I was told that they weren't doing it I took my family to the Cherry Road location. They honored it there! I'm also looking forward to their other events in May. When did Chick-fil-a start skimping on the chicken? My chicken sandwich had a very small half piece of chicken. I remember when the chicken was bigger than the bun. This time I had to pick off all the extra bun. I'm very disappointed. The chicken sandwich was tasty and there was a sweet little old lady refilling drinks and clearing tables. CFA Is the only fast food restaurant we'll eat out if we're traveling. So we frequent many different locations. I also used to work at CFA when I was in high school many years ago. I know what it's supposed to feel like when you're there. But this CFA is putting off some seriously bad vibes. Every person we came into contact with(person taking our order outside, person accepting payment outside, and person handing our food to us in the window) were all very unfriendly, not one smile, looking like they hate their lives. This is not normal for CFA and threw me off. We felt very unwelcome and unwanted. This is not CFA style. This is Burger King style. On top of that, the woman handing out food to us literally didn't even speak to us. She just handed us our food. We had to ask for coffee stirrers for our coffee and cream(duh- why am I asking for this) and she looked super annoyed because we asked for a few other things. When I worked there, we were trained to always ask- "do you need any sauce or anything else?" Shoving a bag at someone, turning the other direction, and waiting for them to drive away is not how you handle a drive thru window. The chicken nuggets were TINY. So that was the cherry on top of this crappy experience. And they were chewy and lukewarm. The ice cream was very melted in my cup, looked like it hadn't been frozen all the way(a result of someone probably forgetting to check on the ice cream machine and refill it before it runs out- remember- I worked here). This Chick Fil A is complete trash. I won't ever come back to this one. CFA corporate needs to take over and find new owners for this franchise. read more

I'm a HUGE Chick-fil-a fan and unfortunately this is the only one near my house and is VERY hit or miss. Line is ALWAYS wrapped around and today I waited for over 15 minutes in line for my one chicken sandwich and after receiving it it was cold. After previous experiences of getting wrong orders, small nuggets, and fighting the drive thru experience this was the last straw especially for the price point. I don't get the vibe this location is managed with the same care or standards as EVERY OTHER chick-fil-a. Won't be back and I will drive across town to another location. read more

Although this location says they have curbside delivery and even have the actual curbside spots, it was not available when ordering through the app. We chose carry out instead. When we entered the store, we were given dirty looks and not greeted. One drink was only two thirds full. We went back inside to ask for more and it seemed an inconvenience to the employees. Recently moved tot he Columbia area, so I stopped here with the youth group on our way to the Operation Christmas Child distribution center in Charlotte so I could try it for the first time. While my food came out promptly, it was luke-warm (and that's with my first bite being taken in the parking lot as I pulled away). Furthermore, there were no napkins in the bag for a to-go order. Have never had a "bad" experience at a Chick-fil-A until today. Was driving with my fiance from Charleston to Matthews for a friend's wedding when we stopped here to grab a wrap and some waters. She pulled around to the drive through line that was unusually long. I ran inside to go to the bathroom to find the restaurant busy but not overly so. The bathroom was dirty and had not been picked up. I got back in the car and we made it to the speaker to find the person on the other end with an attitude. My fiance was asking about dressings for the charbroiled wrap and the girl was not being helpful. They took entirely too long with every car and it took forever to get to the window. Not sure why it was taking so long when we get up to the window there were employees milling around We finally get our food and get back on the road. First issue, no napkins. Second is the crappiest wrap I have ever received. Poorly made, falling apart, not full like it should be. Very disappointed and Chick-fil-A should look into this franchise. read more

Been to this Chick-fil-A several times and I have to say it's... ok. At best. They will always forget something in your order. Napkins, condiments, forks, The vanilla in your vanilla iced coffee. Something is always missing. The employees are very chatty with each other and not really paying attention to what they're doing. Food is classic Chick-fil-A. So no problems there if you like Chick-fil-A food. It's just a question if you can get good service and all of the items that you ordered. read more

I stopped by to get dinner for my family last Thursday and it was less than great. I ordered an original chicken sandwich deluxe, I got home and it was spicy. All the fries were cold and I ordered my 2 kids meals with fruit and they both had fries and no fruit. Very frustrating since I wasn't able to come back up there and get the order corrected and I was in the drive thru for at least 25 mins. read more
