Dirtiest fast food restaurant I've ever been in. Food all over the floors throughout. Tables were not wiped and had ketchup smeared on the one I sat at. It wasn't very busy - 3:30- so no lunch or dinner crowd. The people working never came out from behind the counter to take care of their restaurant. First chic fil a I've been in where they don't bring you your food, which wouldn't have been an issue if they didn't give me my order in three parts so I had to keep leaving the dirty table to get the rest. Unreal how this place can get worse with each visit. Their satisfaction with mediocrity is astounding and nothing like any other CFA I've been to. CFA is my wife's favorite place so we're going 1-2 times each week. Last night, there was almost no one there...no line...yet it takes 15 minutes for food to be ready and it is just the generic sandwiches/fries. The lemonade was not good...had forgotten to add sweetener. For those of you that have never been to a Chick-Fil-A, this is a place that only seemed to be in malls ten years back. I remember going for the first time and thinking...wow...this is a mall place? The menu is not huge...but everything they make is great...and they'll even do it with a smile. Chick-Fil-A is a great place to bring small children. They have sticky mats for your table, proper portions of food, and an indoor playground for the kids to wear themselves out. The chicken is amazing, but that's not what really captured my attention. The ice. Perfectly sphere, not too big, not too small. Highly recommend the lemonade ( with ice of course). These perfect perfect pebbles really did the trick. What is a drink without some really fresh, chilling, ice? Sadness my friends, a drink without ice is sadness. This place is amazing, as busy as it gets, they never seem frazzled and they move customers along with that trademark smile and saying, "My Pleasure". I grew up on McDonald's but finally had the last and final moment with them and promptly drove to Chickfila where I received great food, hot and with excellent service. We have never had a bad experience at any chick-fil-a Until this evening. This location showed several poor attributes. First, before we even ordered, an employee ran from behind the counter toward the door (apparently a customer who didn't pay or something like that) cursing about having to be the one to handle this. Then when she returned she began eating her fries behind the counter in front of all the customers. Next a different employee came from the back fussing at the other employees for putting boxes in the trash bags. The ladies restroom wasn't tidy and the changing table was broken. Also, maybe we are spoiled from our local location, but the gentleman cleaning the tables never spoke or checked on us, which is what we are accustomed to (but this may not be in his job description) read more

I keep trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but even after reconstructing the drive-thru, the service is still so slow. I would recommend that the employees who are taking the orders outside NOT be on their cellphones. It is a mess. No one tells you which car to get behind because they just don't seem to care if you get through in a timely manor or not. Most of us are on our lunch break and have limited time. Seeing an employee just standing around checking the email is just not good customer relations. I feel with a little more training, the line would move a lot faster. Going to stay away for awhile. Every time I go to this location the staff is very rude and the food isn't that good. I used to work at a chick Fil a and it is nothing compared to this location. I live off of Dave Lyle so this location is closer but I'm going to start going to the cherry road location. I got a wrap today and it was so soggy and half the tortilla was missing. We all know Chick-Fil-A is well know for its friendly staff, hot food, and fast service that sets it apart from all other fast food businesses out there. Well up you this point my experience has been the same in every state and city I've visited. I guess the Rock Hill, SC location by the mall did not get the memo or proper training when it came to what chic fil a stands for. Iv given this place 3 chances with this being the last as to every visit has led me to ask for "fresh food" after receiving (Luke Warm Stale Fries and Cold Nuggets) every time. When the worker had the audacity to scream "I need fresh fries! They want hot fries!" To the staff in the back. I was thinking to myself "ummm yeah of course we, that's what anyone in the rite minds would want . As I ate my meal inside, no one came to ask if I needed anything, not even a refill. The staff was not friendly and the food was mediocre! Will not visit this location again. Give 1 star. I have been to this chick fil a several times because I moved over here. Honestly it is worth the drive to Cherry road. The service is terrible and have yet to complete an order correctly for me. Paying a little extra for the food and experience is worth it to me at other chick fil a's. I would rather drive 15 min to another one. It was 8:20 & me & my Daughter were there, she was playing in the play area after eating. My husband wanted us to bring him something to eat home so I went to order his meal. When they called me up to order the man promptly told me that they were no longer making fries tonight. I was like seriously & he said yes ma'am. It's now about 8:35 & they don't even close until 10:00 but there done serving fries for the night??? Several people were in line & they were pretty busy. This location should not be associate with CFA. I went to the manager to tell him how hot and stuffy it was in the kids play area, he replied, "yea the AC was broken". I went on to tell him that my child said there was a wet spot up in the PG and there should be a sign or they should shut the playground down since its so extremely hot & stuffy in there. He walked in glanced around, said "the AC was probably leaking" and went back to work with out another word. I cannot believe his lack of customer edicate. Going through the drive-thru this morning was not a good experience. The greeter at the speaker was less than enthusiastic to take my order and after waiting a while to get to the window, my order was slightly incorrect. I decided to accept it as it was because I was now late to get my kids to school. Then when my son opened his biscuit we noticed that the chicken was missing! What!? So now, I am going to be late and have to walk inside to correct the mistake with kids in tow. I get to the counter and they address the issue just fine, however when Kortney returns with the biscuit, because of the inconvenience, I request the compensation of another biscuit during my next visit. She looks at me like I am insane and just stares! I repeat myself and then she says that "she remade my item" as if to say what more is there to do? After a moment of just standing there she must see that I am serious and then asks me my name. I am done at this point and just decide to leave. Once I get to work I decide to call and speak with Kortney, the manager, about my experience. She finally offered whatever I wanted but not before letting me know she reacted that way b/c she was just initially stunned that I requested a "free" biscuit and that most people just get their order corrected and leave. Well, after all was said by both of us, I still feel the same way as when I was in the store, disappointed and frustrated by the experience but, unfortunately, more so by the reaction and response than to the mistake. I decided to not get anything "free" because now this was not the point. Hopefully Chick-fil-A is not taking the McDonald's path to customer satisfaction and service. However, after previous experiences that I didn't voice and now this, they are losing favorable points with our family. I want the "pre-renovated" Chick-fil-A back!! This used to be my favorite go to place. Restaurant was clean, workers were polite, food was tasty, and I would have given them at least 4 stars. Ever since the recent renovations, it seems as if everything has gone downhill! The dining room has been a mess on several different occasions. Why renovate and put in 2 drive thrus when THERE IS ONLY ONE EVER OPEN ANYWAY??? Parking lot traffic is always a nightmare because there just isn't enough room!! Workers are no longer polite and just plain messy and in a hurry! My drinks are always overfilled and lids are never put on correctly, so I always have soda on me or in my car. My orders have never been messed up until now. Last 2 trips, there was something incorrect. The food just doesn't seem to taste as good as it did before. So, yes I will be willing to give up convenience for a better experience at a different location. Better shape up Dave Lyle! read more
