This was my second time in 2 months getting Ruby Tuesdays. The first time was to go, it took 45 mins to receive my food which was one plain burger with fries. This time I ate inside, 3 kids and 2 adults. It took 90 mins total. Service was poor. Food was BLEH. This is the $17 steak & potatoes... Kids meals are overpriced as well. My girlfriend and I decided to try Ruby Tuesday last night and quickly realized it was a mistake. The restaurant was COMPLETELY empty at 8:00 p.m on a Monday night., which should have been the first red flag. It looked so dark inside that we weren't even sure it was open and had to look up the hours before walking to the door. Once inside, we waited a full minute before anyone came to seat us. The table we were given was sticky. Our server didn't know the special of the day and simply told us to check the website. She seemed completely disinterested the entire time, especially noticeable given that the place was empty except for a couple of people coming in for takeout. The salad bar looked like it hadn't been freshened in a while, yet it was still the best part of the meal food-wise. When our entrees arrived, the presentation was terrible. The plates looked like something out of a prison cafeteria thrown on off-center with juices splattered everywhere. The 6 oz steak was a flat, oval pancake thinner than two stacked quarters. There's no point asking for a temperature when something that thin is basically done the second it hits the pan. The ribs were very dry. The mashed potatoes were the only thing on the plate that lived up to expectations. Although though still dissatisfied and disappointed. Service stayed just as lackluster. I had to purposefully and audibly slurp an empty drink to get a refill. We only received one refill the entire meal. When the bill came, the server stood right there while we figured out the total and tip, which felt awkward and made us feel pressured to leave more than we wanted to. Overpriced, awful food. Very unorganized. Food was ok that we ate. Cancelled the rest of our order. Took 10 minutes to get a waitress to take our drink order. Then it took me asking to speak to a manager to get them. Not the same service or food the we remember. Food was ok. Service slow. 15 minutes just to get a JD on the rocks. 1/2 hour to get meal. I ordered just an appetizer plate( not potato skins). Where to even start? The staff were extremely disorganized and unprepared. They kept bringing our food to the wrong table, they couldn't supply tables around us with silverware. We received no refills on any drinks, and it took 20 minutes to receive a water. We had to request them to remove items from the bill that we were never given. They kept rushing us trying to get us to leave the restaurant hours before closing while people at our table were still eating. There were pieces of tinfoil found in the salad. Our server never said a word to us and just threw food down on the table without asking who each entree belonged to and placing it at their spot. Ordered through my Yelp App which asked all the right questions about our order, tooooo bad they never read it at Ruby Tuesdays. We were tired after a long day of driving and love using the app so we're very comfortable ordering...and we could just stay put at the hotel. If I could give this place a negative zero for stars I would. First, ordered the Buffett salad bar there were gloves present No one using them, then there was lettuce which old and wilted. When I spoke to the manager and stated, I wanted a refund and the reason why he stated "No it isn't" before going to look at the bar. Then decided he wanted to see for himself after viewing he then had a server to quickly remove the salad from the salad bar. I then asked the Manager to show me the no refund policy. I didn't walk out the establishment or completed making the food. He then stated they said I couldn't get a refunded so I wanted to know who was "THEY". Who ever "They" was they never answered his call. He then stated for me to come back next day or I could provide an email. Then offered to make something else for what I paid. All I wanted was my refunded you shouldn't be forced to take something else or jump through hoops just to get your money back for food that you chose not to eat. I googled the policy after leaving the establishment and no where does it state that there is a no refund policy. It would be nice to train your managers/staff on the policies before telling a paying customer what they can't have back. I will never visit this establishment again. Certainly NOT on Monday! Ruby Tuesday was a mainstay when our kids were younger but noticed that it was going down hill a long time ago. Whelp...hunger hit last night and there were not a lot of options so we settled on Ruby Tuesday. To be honest, we were not even in the restaurant yet and I felt like we should turn around and leave. I should've listened to my spirit! As we were arriving, a young lady was leaning the door glass. We saw her and approached. She moved to clean the inner doors. At that point, I was 3 feet away and she HAD to have seen me. Still...as she opened the door to go into the store, I was right behind her and instead of holding the door, she let it close in my face! I stood there. She looked right at me and never moved nor did she apologize. My husband asked "do you want to leave?" and I said "Nope! I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt." Our server was wonderful (I believe that she was a manager). Friendly and responsive, she was the only real bright spot. The salad bar still has a lot of variety but this one just didn't look appetizing and wasn't fresh. I have never seen salad dressing that is so thick that can barely stir it. I have never seen fixings (e.g., cranberries, bacon, cheese) that has been left out then put in the fridge over and over again to the point that it's all stuck together). I was wondering if maybe a health inspector needed to stop by. We had wings (well they looked like they would've been wings HAD they been given more time to grow up. Tiny to the point that I felt bad asking for one! Not edible. I had Blacked Tilapia--greasy, over seasoned, and under cooked. Rice that has ZERO seasoning and Zucchini that was over salted and greasy. Not edible. Nobody asked us about dessert but that was fine--it's Lent. Even if it weren't, we would've passed! Also, he was not our waiter however he took the initiative to take great care of us with my friend in a walker. My family of 12 decided to go to this GC on Cherry for Thanksgiving. Everyone wasn't on board but due to having been sick for the most part of the week, we decided it was the best was to go. We are so happy we did. Right from the beginning, the young man at the register, the young man that found seating for a party of 12, to the server, everyone was absolutely kind and gracious. This speaks volumes these days when many employees act like they hate their jobs and customers service isn't that important. I would have to say this is an experience that I should have checked the restaurant inspection score prior to dining. They had the shortest wait of any restaurants in the areas and we had hungry kids so we chose to dine with them. The waitress(I cant remember her name) was good and stated that she had only been working there for 2 weeks. First red flag, I took my son and nephew to the restroom and it was in worst condition than a rest area or truck stop restroom. 1 out of 2 dispensers had soap in it. The sinks were so badly stained with dirt, grim, and something else that replacing them seems to be their only option at this point. The floors, no need to talk about that but let's just say its impossible that an inspector has ever set foot in their. The food, they had a salad buffet(which I though was weird during these times) where you out on clear disposable gloves to use to fix your salad. I'm still not sure how I felt about this(1. it's funny 2. It's smart but I'll pass 3. WtF). All three adults ordered the bacon chicken sandwich that was a new item and came high recommended. Well, the first order of onion rings came out cold and had to go back. I ate half of my sandwich and my first thoughts were Wendy's have a better chicken sandwhich(the closet comparison). The chicken sandwich was just blah. Needless to say, not one adult at the table finished theirs. My loaded baked potatoe was literally dark brown and shriveled up was served to me. It had to be the smallest loaded baked potatoe they had in the entire box. The entire insides was yellowish in color and I'm not sure if that was from the butter but even at the bottom of the potatoe prior to mixing it all together. The spinach queso was the worst possible consistency and taste on the face of the earth. We ordered three scoops of ice cream for the kids and against my better judgement I looked at the spoons after the waitress brought them to us. DIRTY/PERMANENT STAINS was all I saw. All I could do was ask for to go spoons. My overall opinion of this place is they should be shut down. The food is better at fast food and do not enter this location. read more

Eating at Ruby Tuesday can be "hit or miss"! This time we had a miss. We like to get the 6oz petite sirloin and salad bar. The salad bar here had all the veggies but it was messy and low on items ....like no one tends it and it was 7 pm so it should have been. The steak is only 6 oz so after cooking loss you want the rest of the steak eatable! The problem was at times they are too chewy, this was one of those times. I did mention it to our server and he gave the kids a free dessert so that was nice! They split a crispy chicken Cobb salad and enjoyed it so that was good! read more

Walked in and they are switching out booths so we waiting for 10 minutes for someone to seat us. The bartender came and said to wait longer. So we did. Finally got seated and got our orders ready and the waiter came and got our orders then left and we went to the salad bar.That's was half empty. Then sat back down with no silverware. And waited and waited for silverware. My dad had to get up to go look for silverware.He went to the bartender and she sat down saying just to wait. Salad was horrible. Service was horrible. Place was gross. Moral of the story do not come to Ruby Tuesdays. Food was okay. Barely okay. Dish washer has to bust tables and clean. Server was just bland. Lazy. Lazy. Finally one decent restaurant in Rock Hill, SC. We recently came here on a business trip and on our first day we were looking for some pretty decent restaurants because everything sucks in the south east and somehow came across this restaurant near our hotel and let me say, it was not horrible. We got seated immediately and gave us water right away. After our drinks came out, we had another waiter Take our order. I ended up getting steak which I had to get two of because I am an intermittent faster and need to get my protein somehow. There are also options for people who do not want fries and burgers, such as the endless salad bar, which had a wide variety of toppings and lettuce, which my wife ended up getting (my daughter also ended up getting some too). The staff members were super nice and very kid friendly! Overall, from someone who lives in Brooklyn, New York, this place is decent. read more

Yes, it's a chain restaurant and the menu is the same no matter where you go, but this Ruby Tuesday was something a bit different. First, salad bar - for a busy Sunday afternoon, the salad bar was fully stocked, all the veggies were fresh and crisp and it was clean. You can tell a lot of care is taken at this place with the salad bar Second, the service - our server's name was Keenon, and he has to go into my top 5 servers EVER! It was clear that he had a large section, but you would have never guessed with the amount of service and attention we received. Sat at the bar on a very busy Mother's Day holiday. I know it's probably not the best day to pick as far as eating out since everyone (and their mother....[insert laugh here]) were out and about. You could tell the waitstaff was a bit stressed and busy. The bartender was friendly, but we did wait a while for food. My guess is the kitchen was backed up... I ordered the Avocado Turkey Burger with a side of onion rings and cauliflower mash. Everything was pretty good, but I probably walked out of there feeling like I gained 20 lbs. I've been here several times and they just can't seem to get it right. Either the service is terrible or the food is cold. Today we stood at the front door for several mins waiting on someone.. Anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Finally a girl from the back walked up to seat us. They had everyone in the restaurant sitting on 1 side in 1 section..packed in like sardines.
