I received an unwanted gift card during Secret Santa last week at work. Since I do not eat Chick-fil-A much anymore, I grabbed nuggets for the fur-baby as a treat. There were two lines, employees standing outside taking orders and payments. The young lady assisting me was super helpful and polite. I explained my dilemma, that I had a $10 gift card that I needed to use in whole today because I wasn't returning with a balance. I ordered 12 nuggets and a tender, only had to pay $0.30 over. My food was served hot-n-fresh, sauces requested and rec'd. I have never seen this before, the drive-up window is literally a drive-up door. With this location being newly open, I have to commend the operation and efficiency. I didn't experience any kinks, let alone a long wait. Kudos to the team working!!!

The CFA locations closer to where I live don't do curbside and I really liked how this one did, so easy and convenient! The employee was friendly and food was brought out in a timely manner. It was delicious but I will say they under filled my fries a ton, it was only about half full which was disappointing. I would come back to this location because the overall experience was good.

The place was super clean and the staff were really friendly. The food was set up on the steam table, and some dishes had just come out fresh when I got there. Everything smelled amazing. The spicy chicken caught my attention right away. That hot, smoky smell pulled me in. I got that with the orange chicken and white rice, and honestly, it was so good. I did notice a couple dishes on the steam table looked a little dried out, but the staff told me to order whatever I wanted and they would make it fresh. I watched a lady order beef with broccoli, and even though the one on the line looked old, they had the cook make a fresh batch for her right away. Only took a few minutes. She told me she comes here every week and loves it. I ate my food in the car and finished every bite. Super filling and seriously delicious. Definitely coming back.

Some of them, especially if they're neurodivergent, won't eat anything else. If their supply were to run out, they might die--like one of those unfortunate individuals who stays awake for weeks at a time playing some video game, only to be found permanently fused to a lime green office chair, his fingers curled around a can of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. There was a guy at the location I visited today picking up a DoorDash order, and I imagine he was taking it to someone like that. Otherwise, why wouldn't the guy just go get his own Raising Cane's? This place has such a well designed drive-thru. It's a much more elaborate setup than any of the other restaurants in this new strip mall. And on a corner lot, no less. They must have paid a premium. You can't get anything other than the aforementioned chicken fingers at Raising Cane's. It's an even less varied menu than Dave's Hot Chicken, which I recently visited, which has milkshakes. Those milkshakes might come in handy if you order chicken fingers at the burn-your-face-off spice level. Whereas, I don't think you can get anything on your chicken fingers at Raising Cane's other than Cane's Sauce. I guess you could put ketchup on them, if there's something wrong with you. But why would you do that? If I worked there, and I saw someone doing that, I'd take down their license plate number just in case. I ordered what I'm pretty sure is the most expensive thing on the menu, the Caniac Combo. It might be the most baller thing I've done in my entire life, for what it's worth. It comes with six chicken fingers, fries, slaw, Texas Toast and a 32 oz fountain drink, and it costs $16.99. That seems like entirely too much for what basically amounts to a $3 chicken finger basket at Dairy Queen that some recovering drug addict buys for his child during court-supervised visitation, but it's still $10 less than I paid for a burger, fries and a shake at the nearby Five Guys, and for a sandwich, chips, soda and a cookie at the also nearby Jersey Mike's. There were no desserts on offer at Raising Cane's. Otherwise, I would have gotten one, for the sake of citizen food journalism, even though the food there is disgustingly unhealthy. I already consumed so many calories. An ice cream might have pushed me over the edge. I wouldn't even be writing this. But it's quite possible that the food at Raising Cane's is low in sodium. The chicken fingers could definitely use a little salt. My little brother, who has no taste in anything, not just food, can't stand them for precisely that reason. He's not completely wrong, except that the chicken fingers are perfectly fine if you drown them in Cane's Sauce. They'd probably be fine even without the sauce, if you salted them yourself. I'd say they're still in the running for best fast-food/casual chicken fingers. They feel premium, like they're hand-breaded, made from chickens raised in relatively sanitary conditions. They may have even slept on pillows and been given individual names. The fries, weirdly enough, were perfectly salted, but otherwise they weren't anything to write home about. They taste like the fries at White Castle would taste if they were prepared correctly and not allowed to get soggy from steam in that cardboard box. (I still love them.) The coleslaw was like something you'd get at KFC, meaning it was delicious. I feel like maybe you should get a little bit more of it if you're getting the Big Baller Box. They do give you two cups of Cane's Sauce. It's the only meal where that's the case, and I definitely took that into consideration when I was ordering. You could just order another cup à la carte, but that seems weirdly extravagant, like having a live-in maid who's technically not allowed to leave your house. The Texas Toast was fine, but it's easily the least essential part of this meal--and the entire menu, for that matter, since I think this meal contains everything that's on the menu. It's soft, fresh and buttery. It almost looks like it could be garlic bread, i.e. the best thing you can eat, but it's not. They should seriously consider swapping it out for a biscuit. Just imagine, you could put the chicken fingers on the biscuits and make little sandwiches. I'd eat there daily, if that were the case. It's the rare overstep at a restaurant that otherwise seems so well thought out and well executed. This place is blowing up for a reason, and it's not just because tomorrow's thought leaders refuse to eat anything else.

The burger itself was really good; flavorful and satisfying. The fries were seasoned great, and I also ordered a side of cheese sauce, which was good, it had a hint of spice to it that I really enjoyed. This establishment is more of a pickup spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. There's only one small table with two chairs. I didn't mind grabbing food to go, but I would've preferred the option to sit down and eat comfortably. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots available in the lot, which was a plus. As for the service, it was just okay. Since it was my first visit, I had a lot of questions. They were answered, but the interaction felt very minimal. I didn't really feel welcomed or invited, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Overall, decent food and convenient parking, but the atmosphere and service could be warmer.
