The kitchen staff was exhibiting transphobia, deadnaming well known transgender celebrities, and doing so loudly enough that I overheard it from my table. As a transgender citizen and PAYING CUSTOMER, I expect better than this. Please provide more cultural diversity education to your staff. Whether you approve of us or even like us, we are still customers. As the manager was attempting to correct the staff, the cooks began to misgender me and said, "that's a MAN?" when the manager pointed out that the staff was disrespecting their customers. I've been coming to Crazy Bowls and Wraps since I was little, and I love how I can always count on my order to be flavor consistent. It's a great way to get something quick on the go that's not fried fast food. I went to workout yesterday and decided to stop by to eat inside and listen to a podcast. Since the pandemic started, we've only done takeout. The service was quick at the counter. I ordered a regular sized fajita bowl with chicken and jasmine rice. I took a seat and grabbed some presorted condiments. I love their corn salsa! The seating area hadn't really been bussed, which I feel is due to short staffing. The crew was working hard and quick, I appreciated how they took care of me with my interactions! I love their black sesame seeds :) My bowl was good and spicy! I feel like the chicken portion wasn't as big as it typically is, which is why I'm giving the 4 stars. If you're looking for a good suggestion, you can't really go wrong with anything here! Regarding the Rock Hill, MO location. Just picked up an order and ......not one, but TWO long hairs were in one of the items ....Talk about disgusting , nasty and vile! Called the restaurant, manager said "yeah , I just noticed the kitchen workers weren't wearing hairnets, and I just told them to." Seriously????????? During the dinner hour this woman just now told them to put them on? Can't make this up. What happened at lunch as well? And you just NOW noticed they were not wearing the most important piece of equipment they need there?!!!!! OMGGGGGGG. Filth and unhealthy restaurant conditions. Not only should she have offered me a full refund, she had the gall to ask if I was a reward member?!! Tell me..... what difference does that make?!!!!!! Amazing food and service! Speaking of service, I left my jacket there.. Upon getting home I realized I had left it. I contacted the restaurant and they had gone through the morning orders and found mine with my name and cell number. Outstanding!! They had gone truly above and beyond what I would have expected. Normally, I would have found my jacket on a hook somewhere but they had it bagged with my name on it. That is well above standard. I always recommend the Poke bowl! I wish I had an amazing "fast food" healthy restaurant such as crazy bowls and wraps in Chicago! Went to STL for work twice and had my meals here to make sure I stayed fueled up. The spicy teriyaki bowl is amazing and I was so full afterwards. Salt and lime edamame was good, but tasted like plain edamame- needs some lime zest or something! The cauliflower appetizer was a bit bland. Go for the bowls and you will not be disappointed. They also have bottled kombucha available here. read more

At $9.99 it was a lousy value, but now there is a $1.50 surcharge because of the current price of chicken, making a wrap with a little rice, a few veggies, and a whopping 3.5 ounces of chicken $12.51 out the drive-up window. I know what you're thinking.... it's a chain. However, don't let that fool you. Here's why they deserve a 4-star rating..... A) great and flavor packed food. I am stuck between the chicken pesto wrap versus the tia peanut bowl. Both are very good.... like addicting good. B) service is always good and friendly. C) it's clean. Head to tow (including the restrooms). D) it's modern, and the atmosphere and decor is updated. All around, it's good food. Price point is slightly higher than normal chain restaurants. read more

CBW, I love your food, and when I have done drive-thru here, everything was great. Tonight, however, when I went inside, there were three people behind the counter, no line, and they asked me to use the kiosk to order. Umm, okay, but the kiosk has lots of prompts to order additional items, and at the end it only included half of what I did actually want, so we cancelled the whole thing and walked out. Meanwhile, the person behind the counter started taking orders, so I am not sure what their thinking was in sending me to the kiosk. I am not a CBW employee, so I am not going to be troubleshooting your order machine. Nor does it seem wise business practice to decline to take a customer's order. read more

I am such a huge fan of CBW! I was in the area last night and thought it would be a nice treat for me to pick up dinner for a change. When I arrived a little after 5pm the place was empty. There were about 4 cars in line at the drive-thru, but I preferred to go inside to order. I walked in and was greeted by at least 3 people! I took a look at the menu and made a few decisions. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and even though he self-reported that he was new, he still knew the job and the menu pretty well. I placed my order and went to sit at a table to wait. While waiting I decided to fill up some cups with hummus and other dips from their dip station. I didn't see the lids so I had to ask, but the gentleman got them for me very quickly and with a smile. He eve offered me water while I was waiting. My food was ready pretty fast and a girl brought out the order to me, how nice of her! Everything was in the bag and I added in the dips before walking out the door. Overall, the service here was top-notch and since the ordering process was smooth and painless I give them a 5 star review! I will be back to this location for sure! read more

I really love Crazy Bowls and Wraps but after visiting this location---I wish I would have just hit up the Wendy's across the street.... I built my own bowl of white meat chicken, brown rice, veggies, and terriyaki..... The guy at the counter didn't say anything to me at all took my order and that was that..... My food was swimming in the sauce---too much and my chicken meat was questionable..... Also there was a worker just a sweeping all around my table for probably 20 minutes right at lunch time and I found this very annoying...I was going to just toss some shit on the floor for her to sweep as I couldn't figure out what he was sweeping for so long and right around the people not in a non-busy part of the establishment..... What is it that makes me come back, you ask? First, I used to frequent a certain CBW location while in college so visiting CBW gives me a nice, warm feeling of days gone (minus the stress of thinking about finals)! Second, they have a great selection of healthier fares that are fresh and quick. Perfect for when you are on the go or don't want to linger! And last but not least, if you actually care about how much calories you are taking in during a meal, you can easily find it on their website. I love their high protein bowl and will usually get it with double the chicken and either some regular teriyaki or spicy teriyaki. The spicy teriyaki sauce tastes more like regular teriyaki sauce so I am not sure what the difference is. If you are looking for "real" spicy though, this would not be it, so don't get your hopes up. Back in the day, I used to get their stir-fry bowl and still with teriyaki sauce. It was always so filling! As far as I know, this is the closest location to my residence. The service has always been great, except for one particular person who works here and acts like the world might be coming to an end anytime soon. She was at the counter one evening while I was getting a to-go meal. No smiles, no greetings... she just stood there and punched in the order on her keypad, took my money, and said nothing. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. I saw her in there another time, however, and she brought my bowl to the table with the same gloomy expression on her face, no words being exchanged after I thanked her.
