    Fajita Bowl
    Kelse S.

I've been coming to Crazy Bowls and Wraps since I was little, and I love how I can always count on my order to be flavor consistent. It's a great way to get something quick on the go that's not fried fast food. I went to workout yesterday and decided to stop by to eat inside and listen to a podcast. Since the pandemic started, we've only done takeout. The service was quick at the counter. I ordered a regular sized fajita bowl with chicken and jasmine rice. I took a seat and grabbed some presorted condiments. I love their corn salsa! The seating area hadn't really been bussed, which I feel is due to short staffing. The crew was working hard and quick, I appreciated how they took care of me with my interactions! I love their black sesame seeds :) My bowl was good and spicy! I feel like the chicken portion wasn't as big as it typically is, which is why I'm giving the 4 stars. If you're looking for a good suggestion, you can't really go wrong with anything here! I love the chicken Caesar wrap as well.

    Salt and Lime Edamame

I wish I had an amazing "fast food" healthy restaurant such as crazy bowls and wraps in Chicago! Went to STL for work twice and had my meals here to make sure I stayed fueled up. The spicy teriyaki bowl is amazing and I was so full afterwards. Salt and lime edamame was good, but tasted like plain edamame- needs some lime zest or something! The cauliflower appetizer was a bit bland. Go for the bowls and you will not be disappointed. They also have bottled kombucha available here.

There is no flavor in the protein and everything is SUPER dry. Also the "vegan" protein is cooked on the same grill as the meat

Great service, friendly staff, but the blandest food ever. Nice try though. At least it's kind of healthy.

There are even 3 ways to order: at the counter on the tablet, on the QR code at the seats, or asking the staff directly. The DD Mau salad may have been the most delicious salad I've ever had. The greens were fresh, not bitter at all, and the ingredients were so flavorful. The textures combined with the sauce made for a very complex, umami taste and mouthfeel with a slightly spicy kick. Wow! So wonderful that it's a local collaboration too. We also got The Works, a generous swirl of basil and matcha soft serve with shards of sesame peanut brittle. My friend liked it a lot and I thought it was very interesting. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on their menu and there's also the option to make your own salad. Lastly, you can sign up for tours of their hydroponic farm (attached to the restaurant), which are held on weekends 1-2pm. You'll know where to find me on Saturday...

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. I'll skip the bread and try the soup next time. No matcha soft serve available the day that I went.

I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins.
