For a cocktail bar, I give this place 5/5 stars. The alcoholic and alcohol free cocktails are delicious and the vibe is immaculate. I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. The appetizers, including the cauliflower, onion rings, and poutine are excellent but the entree menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and I've found the entrees just ok-to-good for the price. Searching for new resturants in stumbled across this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I want hungry and wanted cocktails but my husband had an appetite. When we arrived it was steady but we were seated pretty quickly. The atmosphere is really nice and intimate. Nice music and vibes. Tables are really small for a table of 2. Menu options looks great and the cocktail menu too. Our server was nice and friendly. For the table, we ordered chicken wings, onion rings and green chile cheeseburger and that burger was highly recommended. For my cocktail, I ordered a peach bite. Food came out at a decent time and it didn't really hit the spot. The wings weren't bad. I like the tangy taste of the sauce they are tossed in but i did not like dressing on the side. It's their green goddess which was not good to us. My husband did not like his burger at all. However the onion rings were a hit. My Peach bite was wonderful. I've had several recommendations for this spot from friends and colleagues. I finally had the opportunity to stop in for brunch. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. We were asked if we had a reservation, there were three other people in the restaurant. I've never worked in a restaurant so maybe that is standard. We sat down and the bartender was our waiter. It took a while for our order to be taken, food came out pretty quickly and was hot! Wings were great, crispy and perfect buffalo sauce! The cucumber salad was awesome too! Great crispy onions and yummy dressing. The patty melt is not something I would typically get, but was good and we love union loafers bread! I got the valentine mocktail, so creamy and delicious. Came here for brunch after spending some time at the farmers market. We were able to make reservations ahead of time but that particular Saturday morning was not very busy at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, suggesting some of their favorite items. I love the vibe of the restaurant. It's just very aesthetically pleasing and a cute space overall. I also appreciate their dedicated parking lot as sometimes parking in the Grove can be difficult to find, especially on busier days. I tried their mushroom fried rice and as someone who is not the biggest mushroom lover. I really enjoyed it! They have a great selection of cocktails, as well as some tasty apps before your meal. Went with my sisters for an early dinner. We got the deviled eggs for an app. The filling was smooth but on the salter side. I like mine on the sweeter side but they were ok. I got the half Caesar salad with the chicken thigh. The salad dressing was really good, the Brussel sprouts in the salad was different, I actually did t hate it though. The chicken thigh was boneless and pretty tender. It came with fingerling potatoes which were cooked to perfection and broccolini. There were two different sauces, they went well either the chicken but I could do without the white sauce, it didn't have much of a taste. I had been wanting to check out Good Company for awhile, and I'm so glad I finally did! It has the vibe of a place you'd find in LA. It's very cozy and modern. Their drink program is STELLAR! Over the course of my group's visit we tried what felt like most of their seasonal cocktail menu. Highlights were the Mexitalian, Peach Bite, and Savannah Slammer. Nobody had a drink they didn't like! The LA vibe does come with the LA price though....whenever I pay over like $12 for a cocktail in STL I cringe a little bit. I'm a bit torn on the food. Best deviled eggs I've had in my life, and the Brussels sprouts caesar was lovely. The poutine was also super yummy. My Cuban sandwich was fine, as were the onion rings. They had a great crunch, but the onion on the inside was very thin. Plus a $2 up charge for 4 onion rings was a bit much, I thought. I wanted an entree they ran out of, so I could have just been tainted by that. Nothing was bad by any means! Dessert was good. We opted for cookies for easy sharing, and we liked them! Went for drinks and cocktails on a weeknight around 5:15pm and so glad we did. Inside was kind of small, very clean, sophisticated, and laid back. The bar area was very nice and welcoming. I tried the Pretty in Pink cocktail, which was well-balanced and enjoyable, though the pour felt a bit light for a martini. Normally one martini gives me a slight buzz, but that wasn't the case here. We started with the onion rings as an appetizer. The portion size was generous, and they were tasty overall, though they had a tangy seasoning dusted on top that seemed a little odd at first. Surprisingly, it still worked. I ordered the Good Burger, and it was honestly one of the most flavorful smash burgers I've ever had. I was genuinely impressed. I got the sauce on the side since it also came with the onion rings, and unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of it -- it was a bit runny and lacked flavor. My friend ordered the vegan burger and absolutely loved it. The inside of the restaurant was cute and had a great atmosphere, though there was an unusual smell indoors, so I was very thankful we were able to grab one of the outdoor tables. Each time the drinks were masterfully prepared and served in appropriate glassware. Except for the Moscow Mule which was not in a Copper Mug. Their Happy Hour goes from 3-5 PM and is offered, Monday thru Friday. The special Happy Hour Sips menu offers 10 classic cocktails for only $10 each. Lucky for us, many of our favorite and go to adult beverages are on the list. We enjoyed; Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Dirty Martini and Moscow Mule. As stated earlier, they were top notch. Cheers! While we drank, we ordered some items to nosh. We ordered; Onion Rings, Olives, Fries with Garlic Parmesan. The onion rings are made in house and the coating was super crunchy. I wish the onion pieces inside were cut a little thicker, but the flavor was still good. The Garlic Parmesan Fries unfortunately did not impress us. They were nothing special. They were basically skinny fries from a bag, with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top. Again, I'd say they were just average. Our Marinated Olives were served a little too hot. They're suppose to be served warm, but we had to let ours cool down a bit before we could enjoy them. The variety and flavor of the olives were good. My friend was going home to have dinner with their partner, but I needed dinner. I ordered the Single Cheeseburger with House Chips. It was served with Cooper White American Cheese, Pickle and Good Sauce. The smash burger was of good size and the cheese was melted well. I would have liked a slice of onion with mine and will try to add that the next time. Their "Good Sauce" is way better than the "Secret Sauce" at the Golden Arches. The side of House Made Chips were way better than the fries. They were super crisp and had just the right amount of salt. Over-all I'd say the adult beverages are outstanding and the food is between average and above average. The food was not disappointing, it was just typical bar grub, which is okay when you're day drinking. Minor details that make me happy are; Hooks Under The Bar, Unisex Restrooms, Linen Napkins and Little Cups of Ketchup and Good Company has them all. Outstanding. My husband found this place (on Yelp, of course) and it was immediately the best bites of our recent trip to the Southern Illinois/St. Louis area. Impeccable from beginning to end. The dining room is chic and comfortable. We began with cocktails. I got the Vieux Carre to start my evening which was beautifully rendered and absolutely pitch perfect. We also got their caramelized onion dip that comes with housemade chips to start. The onion dip was one of the best caramelized onion dips I've had the pleasure of enjoying. Good Company has been on our list for awhile. We decided to book a reservation for a nice pre Thanksgiving dinner. There is a nice bar at the entrance. The lightening is dim and romantic but the restaurant is casual. We thought the food would be good based on other reviews but we were kinda blown away. It was amazing. The Roasted Cauliflower was probably my favorite cauliflower I've had at a restaurant. The Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad was great. I thought all the greens would be brussels but it had roasted sprouts on top of arugula and another green. The roasted quinoa on top was a nice crunchy touch on the salad. We both got it and the Preserved Maitake as our main course. I love the Hen of the Woods mushroom so I was excited to try this dish. Everything about the dish, not just the mushroom was incredible. I love that this place has its own parking lot right next to the restaurant. I'm also grateful because they accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation for a weekend night. My family and I are from out of town and needed a place to eat late night. The service was chill and they were incredibly nice and welcoming. The server starts you out with some complimentary spirits. The one we got was quite bitter because of the grapefruit. The drink I got, which was a Clayton Cooler was ok. It was again, quite bitter, but needed later on because their mushroom curry is really spicy. If you can't handle heat in your food, I would not recommend the mushroom curry. It was so spicy, the people who ordered it didn't want it and we had to split the rest of the food so they could enjoy as well. The chicken Katsu was pretty good. It was a decent portion size. The flavors altogether made it a flavorful meal. The patty melt was delicious. The ratio to meat and bread was ok. The fries were the best part of our meal. We had to get some extra Parmesan fries because our party liked them so much. The onion rings are only ok and quite large so only get it if you're gonna share, but otherwise skip it and save your money on something else. The burgers were complete with all the fixings. No complaints from the people who ordered them. I appreciate that the server was able to accommodate all the details on how my family wanted the burgers done and what to leave out or substitute. If possible, skip dessert here. We got the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream to share. It was warm and tasted good, but I don't think it was worth the price. The bathrooms here often have a line. They're two gender neutral ones. There were plenty of friends catching up, dates going on and it's a great place to hang out late night on the weekend. The leek dip was also a favorite at our table but we ran out of pretzel dippers about midway through the dip - luckily the fries were great dipped in there as well! The server immediately seated us, and gave us a sample wine drink. We ordered from their extensive list of cocktails and got burgers. I got the Good Burger and it was delicious. Well prepared and the fries were excellent. I got a cocktail with pear included and it was delicious and even had a tree decoration on the ice cube. I enjoyed it more for the drinks and service. Great place to share lunch with a friend. Off my normal route but glad I found it. The menu seemed eclectic but everything was delicious.

This place is truly good company! My friend was craving their Caesar salad, so we met here to catch up. I arrived first and sat at the bar. I was given water and menus promptly while waiting. Once she arrived, we both got the Caesar salad, I got the kitty highball (mocktail) and a side order of fries. After we ordered, we were given complimentary aperitifs and dare I say, it was quite refreshing. The fries came first and were out of this world. Although they weren't as crispy as I had liked, I couldn't stop after one! I was expecting them to be overpowered with garlic but to my surprise, everything was well-balanced. The mocktail was good! Not too sweet, not too bitter, but just right. Of course I saved the best for last with the salad. I would have never thought to pair quinoa in a Caesar salad, but let me tell ya, it works! The dressing is as light but still packed a powerful punch and for a half-size, it was filling! Aside from the awesome food, great service and beautiful ambiance, I can't help but recognize the quick action taken by the staff. There were two seats open next to me and all of a sudden, a guest from the other end asked if we could move down so a person in their party could sit with them. We didn't mind but both looked at each other like, why can't they just sit somewhere else? The manager(I think), came and told us NOT to move because they didn't even have a reservation and we did, and he was happy to remind them of that! I was aghast bc obviously I wasn't expecting him to say that but was relieved because neither one of us wanted to move! He did it with quickness but was also discreet as to not cause a disturbance to the other patrons. After staying put, we finished our drinks/meal and then left. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Our supper club really enjoyed our evening here with our server Trevor. We started with onion rings, deviled eggs, the tart, and a leek dip that was fantastic! We all got a burger of some sort, and all seven of us thoroughly enjoyed them. Although I didn't have a cocktail, they all looked fantastic around the table. Definitely a great hang Oh I almost forgot to mention the Caesar Brussel sprout salad, which was to die for!
