I love Chick-Fil-A, so much so that I have to make a stop every time I'm in San Jose. They seriously have the nicest, most polite staff of any fast food joint EVER! This location's dining room is always clean as is the restroom (which is important to us ladies). Now, it can be busy at times but nothing too crazy. I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich (sometimes regular) and it's yummy. The chicken actually looks/taste likes it's a real chicken breast as opposed to whatever McDonald's, BK, etc. serve. (I can't believe someone would actually choose another fast food chicken sandwich over this one). I also love their chicken nuggets. I do wish they were more uniform in size though since their chicken nuggets are more expensive then others. I LOVE their breakfast chicken sandwiches, so yummy on those soft biscuits! (I do not care for the minis though, the dough seems gummy and not cooked right). I honestly don't care for their waffle fries, they never seemed cooked all the way through and they are lacking in salt/flavor. Chick-Fil-A is not just any normal fast food restaurant - they close on Sundays for religious reasons. For the amount of times I've been to Chick-Fil-A (probably 3 times, haha), they've offered great customer service and the food has always been on point! They have employees walking around to see if you're enjoying your meal, and if you would like refills for your drinks. The place is clean and family friendly. Seating can be indoors with normal fast-food tables/chairs or booths, and outdoors on the patio. I love how they have small vases, included with yellow flowers in them. Makes it very welcoming in my opinion. This location has a drive-thru for anyone who doesn't want to eat inside, and according to their website, they cater too! Food! Coming here, expect mostly chicken and nothing else .. except their waffle fries! When you make your order, don't forget to add in your sauces! I love the special Chick-Fil-A sauce, it not only goes great with my fries, but my burger too! ;) So far I've ordered a #2 (Chick-Fil-A Chicken Deluxe Sandwich) and #4 (Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich) for the few times I've been here. Both orders have usually been delicious and fulfilling! The difference between and deluxe and non-deluxe is that deluxe includes tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and pickles. Don't forget that you can always refill your drinks at the restaurant by asking an employee who walks around! For other condiments, there is an island by the cashiers. To be honest, they're lucky their food is good or else no one would ever come here. This is the closest fast food chain with a drive through near my apartment complex for miles. If I had a different option, you best believe I'd be going there instead. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come here. The drive through design SUCKS. There's literally no place for the cars to wait in line. There are two directions cars can also enter the drive through so it's just extremely confusing. It's a pretty popular place for breakfast especially because of the delicious biscuit sandwiches! I recommend the Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit with Chick-fil-A sauce (comes on the side). I just found out this CFA location existed about a month or 2 ago (yikes). Well, now I can finally say that I have been to all 4 of the South Bay CFA locations. Today was cow appreciation day, and it was really fun seeing the staff and customers of all ages dressed in cow costumes. Even 2 full on cows came out to greet the customers. Surprisingly, it was not that busy around 1 pm. Some of the tables were dirty but there were enough open seats available where it was not a huge issue. I am happy and not surprised to say that all the employees were very helpful and friendly. When I went to throw my food away, one of the staff members handled it for me. The food was top notch as well. My chicken sandwich was huge and juicy + the fries were hot and delicious. I even got a well done fry in the mix. I would gladly return to this location. read more

This location is on the way home for me from work and I stop by sometimes for a quick meal. I haven't been inside so I'm not sure if the service is also slow but the drive through is a pain!! There is no directions to guide you to the entrance. It is extremely confusing. The entrance is near the main road where cars enter into the plaza so to me, this is a huge safety hazard! I vow by the Chick-fil-A sauce. OMG IT IS DIVINE. Like In-n-Out and their famous spread, you cannot go wrong with the classic sauce. I don't understand how it takes so long for their staff to get a simple order out in under 10 minutes, let alone 15. I was a bit disappointed coming here last week. My son and I were the first customers of the day (6:30 on a Saturday morning) and I had asked about buying the breakfast mini platter. For fast food it's actually pretty decent. When I usually come here I get the grilled nuggets or either the grilled chicken sandwich. I like that it's simple and they give you sauce on the side to flavor it yourself if wanted. The chicken is tender and isn't dried out. I love that this location also gives out a lot of the sauce on the side. I love just drowning my nuggets in the polynesian sauce. Chick-fil-A has a good variety of sauces like BBQ sauce, honey mustard, polynesian sauce (sweet-and-sour-sauce), and their special Chick-fil-A sauce. You get to choose as many as you would like free of charge! Neato! There is also a counter where you can get utensils, other condiments, napkins, and straws. We brought all of our goodies home and were happy to find each chicken burger in a separate paper box and the waffle fries on top. Appearance wise, the sandwiches actually look like sandwiches. Bright vegetables, crispy fried chicken patties with white meat, gooey cheese, and toasted buns, these were clearly not your typical fast-food items. I would almost bet that they made the sandwich to order! Of course, both my hubby and I enjoyed our respective sandwiches immensely since we basically scarfed them both down in silence. I loved the spice in mine, both in the chicken patty and the jack cheese, while my hubby complimented the crispy crust and juicy white meat. The waffle fries don't have any seasoning on their own so they MUST be eaten with some kind of sauce. After a 15 minute car ride home, they turned a bit soggy, but I like the way they look and how much sauce you can coat with each dip. The one in San Jose serves the entire Silicon Valley, with the next closest one being up in Walnut Creek. Expect parking to get crazy during weekday lunch hours. FOOD: ---------------- This was my first visit to any Chick-Fil-A (shame on me, I know) and dayum! that food was good. The honey BBQ chicken sandwich ($4.15) was made with fresh stuff and the chicken was tender and juicy. The waffle fries were enjoyable but the texture wasn't consistent - some of them were crispier and others were softer. They could've also been better seasoned. They would've been perfect otherwise. A medium sized cup of fries was $1.79, but for 20 cents more I could've had a large. As a bonus, the oils used for cooking are not partially hydrogenated, meaning no trans fat. Sweet! SERVICE: ---------------- I was amazed at the service here. My cashier seemed genuinely happy (woah, what?), and so did all the other employees from what I could tell. My food came out in less than 30 seconds after I ordered it. And at the end of our meal, employees actually came to our table to take our trays and offer to refill our drinks. Crazy! Try getting that kind of service at any other fast food joint. Not gonna happen. AMBIANCE: ---------------- Loved the attractive decor with earthy brown tones and wood paneling. The North San Jose Chil Fil A has to be the worst I've ever been to. Upon walking inside, the floors were covered in dirt and crumbs, every single trash can was overflowing with trash, half of the tables weren't cleaned and had dirt and crumbs on them. Behind the counter, the floor was littered with trash and grease, the trash cans behind the counter were also overflowing with garbage and boxes. Next, the customer service at this location was abysmal - most McDonald's has more respectful staff. A young short Hispanic woman was obviously annoyed and inconvenienced by a older gentleman asking is they received his mobile order. When he walked up, she said "what do you want" is the rudest tone I've ever heard. After he asked if they received his order, she snarking replied "I JUST called put it on the rack" with a huge eye role. I always thought Chic Fil A to be the "tip of the spear" in terms of cleanliness, nice customer service and timely food. But this location has consistently shown they are the opposite. I love chick-fill-a so I feel sad writing this review i had surgery and on the way home all I wanted was a frosted lemonade and grilled chicken nuggets. Didn't open the order until we got home. We received breaded nuggets which I can not eat because of allergic reaction's Called the store. They said they would contact someone else to call me to get a credit for the order. This was February 7, 2020After multple call and being told someone else would contact me no response regardless of their non response i have gone back a few times to the store on River road in St George Utah and twice they've got my order wrong and given me breaded instead of grilled nuggets.
