This location out in the burbs is clean, efficient, and well run. The staff takes your order in a timely manner and the food is brought to your table. There are also staff members walking around to check if you want a refill on the drinks. I had the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich, which was great when paired with the honey mustard sauce. The fries were good, but didn't seem overly fresh - not too big of an issue. The milkshake tasted like real ice cream - not like a concoction of chemicals churned together. It's also nice how the basic sauces are placed by the front for everyone to grab, rather than handing them out when the customers order. The bathrooms are very tidy and pristine. My first time at this location and I wasn't very happy today. My nuggets were cold, and the fries tasted burnt. Sometimes they get that "overly-oiled" taste when the fryer oil needs to be changed as well as the fryer needing cleaned. It could have just been the lunch rush as I stopped in at 1pm. I ordered on my mobile app at 4:05. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was hardly anyone in the drive-thru and no one in the line inside the restaurant. I waited a few minutes for my order, then, after it had been 20 minutes since I'd ordered online, asked to speak to a manager. When I told him (his name was Chad) how long I'd been waiting, he said he'd just gotten my order in the computer. Keep in mind he, and two other workers in the restaurant, were laughing and joking with each other instead of actually fulfilling my order. I showed him the app with the time stamp (it was 4:29 at that time- 25 minutes after I'd ordered). He said they only actually get the order when we arrive at the restaurant. I asked if there was a way that my order could be started on right away next time given that I only live a few minutes away from the restaurant. Chad said, "I don't really know much about how the app works." I then asked why curbside delivery hasn't been an option the last few times I ordered. He said something like "I guess we forgot to turn it back on." I then asked if he could provide me any compensation for the inconvenience of such a late order, and he said he didn't have anything on him. Clearly a manager should a) know how a mobile app works for the chain he works for b) offer compensation for poor customer service and c) act professionally instead of joking around with his coworkers. Ask yourself a simple question: Do I like chicken breast? If the answer is an enthusiastic yes then this place is for you. From what I have seen, this place basically runs and thrives on its many many variations of the breast of chicken. Examples: Chicken Sandwich: fried chicken breast patty. Chicken Nugget: clearly cut pieces of chicken breast fried the same as the patty. Chicken breast soup: Its in the name. Grilled Chicken Nuggets: same as fried nuggets but grilled. Chicken strips: Made from chicken breasts. Tortilla soup: probably made with chicken breast too. I'm sure there are more stuff that include the chicken breast on the menu. Some of the other stuff on their menu include waffle fries and a unique lemonade. The waffle fries I really have no opinion on, they aren't amazing nor bad. The lemonade is quite good and tastes fresh if super sugary drinks are your thing. The diet lemonade isn't as good because one must imagine how much artificial sweetener they need to dump in to match the sweetness. What really stood out about this place are the service and the sauces. The service was really good for a fast food chain. They had a lady going around asking if you want your drinks refilled and the speed they crank orders out is phenomenal. The two sauces I tried both surprised me: The Chick-fil-a sauce: Very similar to honey mustard with more spice added and kinda of reminds me a little bit of horseradish. The Polynesian sauce: I imagined it would be generic sweet and sour sauce but again, like the chick fil a sauce, has an added spice kick to it. These 2 condiments really stood out for me. Too bad I don't really like chicken breast that much. So again, if you like chicken breast, let this be your new fast food destination. Overall, customer service was poor, food quality was poor and price wasn't worth it this time. This Chick Fil-A needs a LOT of work. I use to come here a lot. Great service, fresh food, and never a mistake but the last dozen times I've visited here, it's always been a bad experience. Although, they're some great employees here, a good handful are downright, rude. For example, in one instance, I paid for a large fry and the young girl named Alex, gave me an attitude when I bought back an accidental small fry replying, "You asked for a small." She debated with me, even after I showed her the receipt. This is just one example of an instance employees have been exceptionally rude at this location. I'm updating my review to say NOTHING has changed. I once again, encountered an employee being rude for no good reason when I was simply ordering my food. It's just overall disappointing when that's not the atmosphere and service you expect from this sort of place. I advise you to NOT go here. Save your money! read more

I have had experiences with different Chick-fil-As, but this one is my favorite! I'm not just saying this because they're less than a half of a mile from me!! I am saying this because the owners of this location care about their customers. They care about their food. You can tell by just talking to them! I always have a positive experience at this location. I stop here often on my way home from work because it's on a really convenient corner for me! It may seem tricky to get in and out of, but I've found that it's actually quite easy!! My next door neighbor had surgery last month and I was taking care of him. I asked him if he needed anything, and the first words out of his mouth were "Chick-fil-A". So of course, I got it for him!! Today, the company I work for was having their ribbon cutting and Chick-fil-A catered the event. The food and drinks were excellent, and the presentation was wonderful. Everything arrived on time, everything was hot, everything was delicious!! CFA usually has great service, but was really disappointed on my last visit. Ordered 4 nugget meals and one spicy chicken sandwich, a $45 bill. After reminding the cashier about the sauce, which annoyed her, I arrived home with zero sauce packs. If I was told at the window they were out of sauce, I would cancel my order because I don't want dry nuggets so getting home without any sauce was really disappointing. I called the restaurant and spoke to a woman who stated she was a manager. Gave her my order number, address, etc. and she apologized and said she would send out coupons. For one, the young girl that took my order didn't even ask what size I'd like for my meal, she sounded like she was in a rush to take my order. This place just opened up a few weeks ago and the whole place is spankin' new. Staff were polite and wonderful as always. However, the place is a lot smaller than the east Schaumburg location near Woodfield. The whole interior felt cramped and crowded. It made me think of this place as sort of a "Chick-Fil-A express" place rather than the full featured location such as the one near Woodfield or down south in Elmhurst. Not a fan at all. This was my first experience here and I had heard so much about this place and how they had respectable values so I decided to come here with a guy I met on Grinder. We went through the drive through, and there was no one behind us but they were awfully pushy to get my order, I got the number 2, crispy chicken with American Cheese, and a root beer. (Never heard of american cheese on chicken it intrigued me) We could hear a bunch of woman talking to each other through the head set which made it hard to order. We then pulled up to the window where the window woman was laughing and laughing and I'm not sure if it was at me or not but I felt like that was very unchristian of her. I gave my money and left. When we got home and started watching Golden Girls and opened the food and this crispy chicken was soggy as hell. My only question is who the hell puts American Cheese on a chicken breast on general it was gross. The fries were not that great, and my root beer didn't taste very carbonated. I was not at all pleased with my food. Not to mention both me and my date got the runs from the food all afternoon. I literally was making spin art all afternoon in the bathroom. And he went home and had to stop off twice to flush the demons out of him. This was not at all good. I'm sorry you didn't live up to the hype.
