I'm not going to lie, I love the taste of Chick-fil-A. I've been a fan since childhood, and I'm in my 50s now. But today, I was disappointed in a way I've never been by any restaurant. Big warning: do not use the app to store money or pay. I paid through the app, but the cashier said the payment didn't go through. I scanned it again with the same result. I heard the beep, saw that I had enough balance, and even took a screenshot of my account to show her. She confirmed hearing the beep as well. When I refreshed the app, I saw that my balance had been drained and debited twice, leaving it at zero. Despite this, the cashier said I still owed for my order. When I asked for a manager, she was dismissive and said she didn't know when I took the screenshot, despite it being date and time stamped on their app, implying I could be "gaming the system," loud enough for other customers to hear. She told me to take it up with corporate since it was a third-party app. Even the cashier said she watched the app balance go to zero and it was an issue on their end but the manager was less than helpful and disrespectful. I was embarrassed, and people were staring. A kind couple even approached me afterward to say they felt bad about how I was treated. Sara at Chick-fil-A, you made me feel terrible today. Suggesting that I was trying to cheat the system and talking about me where others could hear was completely unnecessary. My youngest child recently started being interested in chicken nuggets, so we've been trying various fast food places to see which ones he likes best (and who has the best value) Today we ordered a chicken nugget meal and swapped the waffle fries out for their mac and cheese (for an upcharge) I tried a bite of each and thought the food was good, but found it to be very salty. My child enjoyed them both and chick-fil-a is a top contender on his list. I'm going to order the grilled nuggets the next time we go to see if he likes them. My server was a sweet young person who seemed to be slightly new at the job, however she was pleasant to order with. Been here several times and it has yet to exceed average. This is a super high volume area, which I attribute to the decline in their standard quality. The only real positive mark is that they keep the flow of customers moving right along. The fries are never fully done and lack any crispiness. Sad face. I have visited this location about 10 times since it opened earlier this year. Parking set up is different. A small lot to the side of the building near the drive thru and entrance with a larger side lot behind the building. Drive thru service is a little slower than inside and there are 2 drive thru lanes that funnel into one. The restaurant is very clean, as are the outside parking lot, patio dining and the children's indoor playground. When ordering inside the line moves quickly, even on busy weekends. If dining in the staff will bring the food to your table in just a few minutes, sometimes within a minute. All shakes are excellent, try the cookies and cream. I'll start by saying the staff was very nice and helpful, but my reason for the visit wasn't to make friends, it was to get good food, which it wasn't. I got take out so I was already on the road when I opened my food and couldn't go back. I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and as I opened the package it fell apart with the fillings all in the bottom of the bag. I was upset as I was very hungry. I moved on to the bacon egg and cheese muffin that I ordered. The bottom was so burnt and hard that I couldn't bite into it. The only edible part was the bacon. You can get waffle fries in the freezer section of your grocery store that are just as good if not better. We stopped here on our way back from Boston to NYC. I love Chick-fil-A. I would eat their spicy chicken deluxe meal every day if I could. It's phenomenal. And their waffle fries, I still maintain are the best out of every other fast food place, much to the chagrin of my boyfriend. The chicken sandwich was tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced to bring heat, but not too much. It was tempered by the pepper jack cheese that accompanied the sandwich. The classic pickles, lettuce, and tomato just ties everything together for a delicious sandwich. Again, would eat every day. The fries are perfectly salted so that they aren't overly salty but just enough to quell the craving. The beautiful waffle shape and meaty potato filling was perfect. We drive 30-35min to eat Chickfila here. Lately we've been disappointed with the service at this location. We've experienced chicken minis where the bread was too hard and received over salted fries. We came in around 3pm one day where it was relatively slow but were surprised because the dining area was really dirty. Sauce packets on the floor, crumbs on tables, chicken and fries by our feet...We were really upset because of course we want to eat in a clean space. So, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon (2:00 PM), during March of 2017 it finally happened!, we finally got to see what all the hoopla is about at Chik-Fil-a!! My coworker suggested it and we were finally able to try this 'new to the area' chain (building this moved my favorite air hockey games / Seekonk Grad Prix to the back of the plaza!) Okay, this is still fast food if you just order fried chicken and waffle fries but they did offer items such as fruit cups (coworker liked hers), salads, nuggets (grilled or fried) even a kids menu. I give it 3.5 stars. I did drive thru and was literally shocked that this place only had 1 car in each lane at the speaker! (I drive by this location almost daily for work and have seen the double drive thru lines wrap back out to Route Six at all times of the day since opening!!) The parking areas and drive thru lanes are well marked and the menu boards easy to navigate. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Deluxe - a breaded buffalo chicken cutlet sandwich with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles. I have to say it was really good. Had more buffalo kick than expected but I really liked it. The waffle fries were just eh. They should have been cooked longer so the were actually crispy! The salt was noticed but wasted on sogginess - the sauces made them edible but still not great! The employee working the drive thru window was super nice and made sure I got all of our items and sauces and had me on my way with a smile! We stopped for breakfast the day after their grand opening and it was not busy at all. Staff was super friendly and helpful with deciding what to get. They even used southern charm like "my pleasure". They have a great breakfast menu that's available until 10:30 am. There lunch and dinner menu has a wide array of quality ingredients. This is a must stop if you've never been. You will soon be hooked. Keep in mind they JUST opened this week, so they are going to be bombarded with customers and you will have to wait. Cons: Waffle fries not Crispy, nuggets are more like tidbits like the actual size of pineapple chunks in the can that's how small they are. My girl and I went here during the lunch hour on a Saturday (I wouldn't recommend doing that). They had people out walking through the packed drive through taking orders. I didn't catch the guys name who took our order but he was very nice and engaging in conversation. We both ordered the number 1 with three sauces. My girls sandwich looked very good with a soft bun, crispy chicken and pickles. It came with a heaping pile of fries that were not very hot or crispy. My sandwich was a little different as my bun was was completely flattened on both sides and did not have pickles. My container of fries was only half full and cold. The chicken and the sauces were on point but with the flat bun, cold and half full fries, and an incomplete sandwich I have to give this location a 2. Line went fairly quick. Five mins. Polite cashier. Table clean. Food delivered to table by polite server. Ordered one crispy chicken sandwich, one spicy, grilled nuggets, lemonade & chilled coffee. Everything was really good. Chicken was amazing. Hot & crispy outside, juicy inside. Didn't care for the tenders. Pass on them next time. Busser took our tray when she saw we were done. I placed an order and arrived at the restaurant late by exactly 1 minute, the app cancelled my order. I asked a staff member to speak to a manager. Peter came out and explained how the app worked, he then explained to me that he could get me at a bare minimum the entrees. I can't tell you how happy I was to have Peter save me from two hungry kids who were craving chick-Fil-a. Very unprofessional staff working here. I received a delivery order with half of my items missing. When I called to let them know, I was told they could "email me the items." I then asked how they would be held accountable for a mistake in the future if I ordered from them again and was hung up on. I understand mistakes happen but an apology along with my refund would have sufficed. Will probably not order from here again. read more
