Happy Meal box collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Hello Kitty and Friends
    Stephanie T.

I haven't been to McDonald's in such a long time and cannot recall the last time I had a Happy Meal! Starting on August 12, 2025, McDonald's has a new collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Hello Kitty and Friends, so what a perfect time to get a Happy Meal and feel nostalgic. The Happy Meal deal comes with twelve different toys to collect, with one in every Happy Meal. The collaboration mainly focuses on the four main turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello) and five different Sanrio characters (Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, My Melody and Badtz-Maru). The McDonald's in Seekonk, MA has a drive thru and plenty of parking spots. I walked in and saw 4 tall white self-service kiosks. Some people were ordering with the cashier. The Happy Meal has 3 options: hamburger happy meal, 4 piece chicken mcNuggets happy meal, or 6 piece chicken mcNuggets happy meal. I chose the 4 piece chicken mcNuggets happy meal which came with kid-sized World Famous Fries, a side of Apple Slices, and Honest Kids Appley Ever After Organic Juice Drink. Other kids drinks choices are: 1% Low Fat Milk Jug, Reduced Sugar Low Fat Chocolate Milk Jug, and for an extra charge-DASANI Water or soda. You can also choose which sauce you want for the chicken mcNuggets. It was very easy to use the self-service kiosk and in a few minutes, my number was called by the staff and I went to the pickup counter. It was pretty busy, people were ordering, people were waiting, and a good amount of people were seated and enjoying their meal. When I opened my happy meal, I noticed I was given 6 pieces of chicken mcNuggets instead of 4 pieces and I got the My Melody x Donatello toy. The toy was cute and glad I got one. The chicken mcNuggets were filled with white meat and tender. I dipped them in the sweet and sour dipping sauce. The fries were crispy. Definitely getting a happy meal was for sentimentality and not the quality of the food itself.

Hard to see from a quick snap, but all of their masks were well below their noses thus rendering them completely useless.

Rude, unhygienic facility where the workers can't be bothered to wear their masks correctly dripping nasal droplets with God only knows what all over the food. Don't bother ordering via the mobile app here either; you won't get your orders just a manager who would rather fight with you than make what you ordered 10 minutes prior to picking it up go to RT 44 or the Swansea McDonald's by Cardi's instead. Just FYI; masks are supposed to go OVER YOUR NOSE. Not seen are all of the other semi and fully mask-less workers who scurried out of view.

I don't really write reviews especially on a good chain like this but... I got a burger that was raw in the middle despite me having to wait 5 for my burger it wasn't cooked fully. Luckily the one right down the street to me was willing to accommodate me and make me a fresh one. These guys need to step their game make it they stopped standing and talking people would get their good on time and fully cooked!!!!

I walked into a space that is bright and well designed, with large windows bringing in natural light on a sunny day and a layout that works for both sitting with a drink and getting some work done. The matcha program is the reason most people come here. I noticed the menu follows seasons and trends in a way that keeps the offering from feeling static, and the flavor combinations go beyond what most cafes in the area attempt. I tried the strawberry matcha, which is the most liked drink here, and it was decent. The hojicha latte is a strong alternative for anyone who wants something with a roasted, earthier quality rather than the grassy brightness of standard matcha. Sweetener is an add on rather than included by default, which is worth knowing when you place your order, particularly if you are accustomed to cafes that automatically offer a simple syrup option. The menu also extends into wine and cocktails for evening visits, which gives the space a different function than a typical daytime cafe. Consistency on the matcha is mixed, with occasional issues around mixing and clumping that affect both the flavor and the texture. When it is well made, the quality is evident. The cafe gets crowded and loud during peak hours, so visiting on a weekday or arriving early on weekends gives you a better experience of the space. Parking in the area is manageable compared to most of Providence. For a matcha focused cafe with a unique menu and a bright, comfortable space, Ceremony is worth knowing about.

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer.
