I think it's a bit overhyped; it's good, but not life-changing. We shared the box combo which included chicken fingers, fries, texas toast, and a fountain drink. It was more than enough for the both of us. Price was fair considering it's freshly made. But my stomach decided to stage a small protest afterward. Would I go again? We went here because it seemed to be very popular after opening. The night we went, the line was not too bad and moved rapidly. I tried the "caniac" combo and was really less than impressed. For starters, it was over $17 for the meal with 6 relatively small tenders, and absolutely nothing like pictured where the photos have large generous tenders. I looked up pricing at chick fil a, and a meal + 2 additional tenders actually comes out slightly less but essentially comparable price. The chicken was just alright, the chicken itself was decent but the breading did not seem to have much seasoning or flavor and kind of bland. It seems the only sauces they have are cane's sauce and ketchup. The cane's sauce was alright but nothing spectacular. Coleslaw was also bland and not much of it. Honestly, the bread was the most seasoned side. Although the bigger combo has 2 additional (small) tenders, most of what accounts for the larger size is just fries, and the crinkle cut fries, to me anyway, taste exactly like what you get at the grocery store and cook yourself. Dare I say that a bunch of options at the grocery store are better than the fries we got, especially if you cook them in an air fryer. Raising Cane's fries were soggy when we ate them, which was right when we got home. Again they did not have a ton of flavor. To-go meals are served a sealed plastic container, rather than a paper bag meaning they do not travel well at all since they will steam during transit. Probably better enjoyed eating it right away. There was something wrong with my soda which was supposed to be Coke Zero. Instead I received what appeared to be 1/2 water and 1/2 dr pepper. It was literally undrinkable. Probably won't be back again soon, and lots of better options for food in the immediate area. read more

After being a few more times, I have to say I love raising canes. It's definitely something to eat there as it doesn't travel well. But the chicken is so good, I don't even use the sauce honestly I just dip it in the coleslaw which is so tangy. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because it's about 15% way too overpriced. 6 tenders, a fry, with a Texas toast and a small coleslaw with soda should not be $19 after taxes. $15 max is really an acceptable price for a one person meal at a fast food place. Unimpressed with this new fast food restaurant. Went there today and went inside to order. The ambience is very very loud, very warm with alot of hustle and bustle going on. We ordered 'To Go" and the order was done quickly. The French fries are crinkle fries which I am not a fan of crinkle cut. They were limp and soft. The chicken sandwich is just 3 tenders between a bun. As you pick up the sandwich to take a bite there is always a tender falling out, so you have to keep putting the tenders back in the bun every time you take a bite. I must say the tenders were very good, nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The bottom line is that it's nothing special, no better than Popeyes or Chick-Fill-A read more

Was excited to see this open locally tried it for the first time today and was highly disappointed this is a far cry from its southern counterpart. Chicken was soggy breading was nearly fully off all the chicken tenders, Texas toast was barely toasted and fries were a soggy mess. I really wanted to like this because I've been to Raising Canes a bunch of times down south and even the one in Boston but there needs to be far better quality control before this hits the customer. Staff is young and un attentive literally filled my drink to the point that when they handed it to me through the window the drink came pouring out of the cover all over my car interior. My rating is a 3.5, rounded up to 4. Service was pretty quick, the drive-thru line was long but it went fast. The chicken was nice and juicy, and the sauce was good. I needed an extra sauce for the four tenders. The fries were okay but I didn't bother finishing them because I had a lot of food in the box combo for $12. I wasn't interested in the toast at first but it was actually one of my favorite parts. Cole slaw was okay, but I prefer KFC's. The sweet tea is good. Overall it was decent and you get a lot of food for the price, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. After hearing great things about this chain, I was super excited when one finally opened in Seekonk. I waited a few months after opening to allow for the crowds to die down a bit and finally went to try it today. All I can say is that it absolutely WAS NOT worth the wait! The staff was super friendly but the restaurant itself was on the dirty side and VERY loud, maybe because it was busy but we decided to eat outside. The wait for our food was about 5-10 minutes and everything was hot and seemed fresh. The chicken itself is totally underwhelming!! It has no distinct flavor nor does the batter. It is soft and juicy but what is the point if the taste is not there?? Even the Cane's sauce that everyone seems to rave about was nothing special. The French fries were probably the highlight of the meal! The bread that it comes is like one half of a hot dog bun with some butter on it, maybe? It was soggy and also lacked flavor. One word: Overrated. The breading on the tenders was tasteless and falling off - why bother?. The crinkle cut fries were also tasteless, limp and could pass for any store-brand frozen fries. The Cole slaw was moist but it must have been water because that too was tasteless. The drink was 75% ice and gone in four sips. Do yourself a favor and save your $$$.
