Perfect... just like I remember it back in Cali. The only reason it's a 4-star review and not a 5-star is because of the location. Location is key for a business and they couldn't have picked a worse one! The intersection of Costco?... Really? With that being said, when we got their we used the drive thru and there were 2 girls walking to everyone's vehicles to take their order ahead of time so the line wouldn't be jammed. That was a great idea. I think our overall wait time had to have been 10 min or less which is awesome for a jam packed place. We ordered the usual chicken sandwiches and it hit the spot as always. The fries were cooked to perfection and the lemonade was on point! Another great Chick Fila location in Washington. The store has a fun modern vibe and includes a play area- which is a good thing and a bad thing in some ways. The play area can result in more noise and a less of a deluxe dining experience but I see how for many it is a plus. The service here is what sets this store apart- it is top notch and the owner is clearly very interested in training their staff to the highest standards and wants guests to have a great meal and experience. I like how there are credit card machines where you can easily see your order total and swipe your card (vs at other locations which do not have this). This location also has easy parking (if you walk a small walk from Lowes). All in all a wonderful location that when driving I5 I look forward to a great meal at on future road trips again. My order recommendation is a number 1 add cheddar cheese and a small amount of Chick Fila sauce, then upgrade to the fruit cup for the side. First time we've been to a chick-fil-a up in WA (only had it somewhere south) and the food was good. There could be more seasoning in the breading and also the chicken sandwich, both tasted bland without adding any of the sauces. The sauces of course are delicious and that makes the sandwich/chicken nuggets yummy to eat. We also loved the waffle fries, those are the best. Service was super friendly and fast as well. Now for the area, not sure why on earth anyone would built a fast food restaurant that popular with 8 or so parking stalls? It is ridiculous! They were also trying to manage drive through traffic, which made it almost impossible to get into the lot. I've seen the lines and parking problems up in Bellevue too, that is why we never went there in the first place. We were fairly late yesterday, I think around 8pm, so it's doable with some patience. I don't even want to attempt getting food during peak times. Why not rent some space from the furniture store next door and supply them with free food? They had plenty of space, you just weren't allowed to park there. I will for sure come back and also try out the location up in Bellevue or Lynnwood, but I won't be waiting for 20min to get a parking space. Waited around 20 minutes and asked a worker what was taking so long only to find out my food was by another pickup station that wasn't visible. The hype is real. After months this restaurant still draws a crowd. Long drive thru lines and long lines at the counter. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich. My wife had the chicken wrap. The spicy sammie was the best i had ever eaten. It was very moist, tender and spicy. The chicken sandwich was ok. Nothing to gloat about. My wife enjoyed her wrap with ranch avocado dressing. I can't wait to the franchise opens in Federal way. What made this a 4 star is the horrible parking. I asked for extra pickles for the sandwich and received an additional side bowl filled! Yum. The meal came with their Chick-fil-A sauce and I requested a Polynesian sauce on the side. The Chick-fil-A sauce is a sweet honey-ish mustard with a smoky barbecue flavor. The Polynesian is similar to a sweet-and-sour without being overly sweet. Yummy. I'll be back. read more

So disappointed I went there today wanting a chicken biscuit and once again I got home to open my bag just to see they messed up my order. Instead of giving me a chicken biscuit with pepper jack cheese they gave me one with American cheese. Sorry to say this location does not meet my expectations. The person taking my order was listening when I asked for a number 8 and rang up 8 piece chicken nuggets. When I pointed out the price was wrong she apologized. This is the third time at this location my order gets messed up. The staff is friendly and there are several behind the counter just in the back socializing. Even the person taking my order talked to some behind me while I was in the middle of providing the information on what I wanted to order and I had to repeat it. I ordered to go asked for two chick-fil-a sauce with my order. It's even on the receipt. They hand me my bag and I walk out without checking it. I get to the car, no napkins ( I saw them put them in another to go orders so I figured I would get some too). And of course no sauce, I even checked the receipt and it was printed on it. Its absolutely ridiculous how fast they can be when there is that volume of customers. I went for lunch on Thursday and it wasn't as bad as I thought except you cannot access Chick Fil A from 8th st going west, you have to be going east. The only other way to access is to be going South 116th. That's a pain However once your order is in, it's super quick. My wait was less than 10 min from pulling into their lot to leaving. I took my grandpa here a few weeks ago for his 90th birthday. He is hard of hearing and has trouble communicating with people; thus, ordering at the counter was not easy for him. Instead of being patient with him, the person at the counter began to roll his eyes and raise his voice in a very condescending manner. My grandpa remained calm and polite--but the worker began turning around to his co-workers to laugh and snicker at them. My grandpa mainly had difficulty asking the worker not to put vegetables on his sandwich, as they will upset his stomach. The worker finally smiled as he told my grandpa there will be no vegetables. My grandpa and I began walking to a table after we paid when we heard that same worker behind us make a joke to his co-workers about hoping my grandpa "doesn't shit his pants." I turned around and said, "what did you just say?" The worker ignored me and pretended he didn't see me. The food arrived and, of course, my grandpa's sandwich had vegetables. More vegetables than I've ever seen on a sandwich. My grandpa is stubborn and insisted on walking up to the counter with the sandwich. He patiently waited in line. Once the line cleared, my grandpa kindly told a female employee that he had asked for no vegetables on the sandwich. Instead of doing the right thing, which is to replace the sandwich with a new one, the female employee acted annoyed and questioned whether he had really ordered a non-vegetable sandwich. Her voice became louder and louder (when she wasn't blowing gum bubbles in his face) as she told him he'd have to pay again for a new sandwich. I told her that's not the customer service policy of Chik-Fil-A but she ignored me and kept yelling at my grandpa to "pay up or get out." I wouldn't have done so, but grandpa is a kind man who does not like conflict, and he offered cash for a new sandwich. She spent MINUTES holding up his ten dollar bill to the overhead light to make sure it wasn't fake--this seemed like an act of sheer aggression more than a standard operating procedure. By now our food was cold. I told her we were in a hurry and that's when she snapped and threw the ten dollar bill at my grandpa and said she was going on a lunch break and we'd have to get in the other line. I thought she was joking at first but soon recognized she was serious. As we turned to go over to the new line, I heard the worker refer to my grandpa as an "old fart" and an "ugly ass old man." She also made a comment about needing a hit of marijuana to deal with stupid people. Thank God my grandpa didn't hear. His birthday was now a disaster. While waiting in line, my grandpa informed me he needed to use the restroom, as the stress of this ordeal had caused him to have an accident. I went into the bathroom with my grandpa to help him out, as I've done for years. As we were going into the stall, we heard laughter by the bathroom sink. We turned around and the male worker who had initially taken our order was laughing at the sight of me accompanying my grandpa into the stall. I said, "what's so funny?" And he responded by stating, "I guess he really can't handle his veggies." I was furious. I wanted to scream at this person but I needed to go into the stall to help my grandpa do his business and change pads, as he was moaning in pain. The lights kept going on and off while we were in the stall. I don't think this was an accident. I think a worker kept opening the door to mess with the lights. This caused my grandpa to drop his glasses and a pen into the toilet. We decided in that bathroom stall, which was very poorly cleaned, that we were going to go have lunch elsewhere. We hugged and exited the bathroom and walked over to the door of the restaurant, I saw a camera flash from behind and heard the sound of a cell phone camera taking a picture as someone spoke the phrase, "zoom in on his butt." We turned around and saw three workers smiling at us, trying to act as though they didn't take the picture. I began loudly telling the employees I would hire an attorney and sue for discrimination and harassment. My grandpa, being the kind soul that he is, simply smiled and motioned for me to leave. I have always admired this corporation for its "Christian values;" however, this location is completely void of them. Avoid this poorly managed place at all costs. Don't let the hostile workers ruin your day, just like they ruined my grandfather's 90th birthday. I love you, grandpa. It's going to take more than rude, idiotic workers for me to stop helping you change in the bathroom. read more

They are always short staffed but this location doesn't have the best placement for parking and a long line. The food is good, always hot, fresh and quite tasty. Orders are accurate, I've never seen an error. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. All in all I recommend this place. "My pleasure" is the go to response from the staff. I love that. This location has a challenging parking situation. In what looks like a large lot, there are actually very few dedicated to the restaurant with most belonging to the adjacent furniture store. The furniture store monitors the lot at peak times with an attendant. Like most chick-fil-a's the drive through can be pretty long but moves at an acceptable pace. Chick fil a is easily my favorite fast food restaurant. I visit this particular location 1-2 times a week. The ingredients have always been fresh. The original and spicy sandwiches have a good amount of chicken and a great ratio of meat to bun. The sandwich is also simple so the flavor isn't lost on a bunch of sauces or other ingredients. The grilled sandwich is also good, but tends to have less meat and a poorer meat to bun ratio. The waffle fries are always a treat. They're among the best fries from a fast food place, but can also be some of the worse if you let them get cold before eating. Thankfully the restaurant has never given me cold fries. Lemonade, Sweet tea, milkshakes, and cookies are all great and worth the higher than average price you will pay for them. Everything about the food is good, and the service is the best you're going to get from a fast food place, but that parking situation is one of the worst I've seen. It's baffling the parking and drive thru areas designed or even conceived like that. I believe there's only 14 parking spots without having to park at another business' lot. The drive thru wraps around a different building. Very cramped space. There's been dozens of times I wanted to here but skipped out due to this issue. When we went through an employee with a cheerful tone welcomed us. His voice startled my partner but to me it felt nice. When I asked what dressings they had, instead of telling me that it was on the board he just listed it for me.
