    Side of Jolli spaghetti
    Nini A.

I've been here a few times to this location to attest that the fried chicken is delicious! It's right next to the Tacoma Mall (literally on the corner). Parking is shared with the mall parking lot; easy to find when it's not busy, but can be challenging to maneuver when it does get busy. Seems like there is just one entrance at the front to the store, where the line is set up from the door so it doesn't feel like there is much room, especially if you're ordering takeout and have to wait for your order. I like to order ahead with the Jollibee app since it offers rewards with a points system and also to limit social interactions. My order is usually ready by the time I arrive, so no complaints there. What's great about Jollibee fried chicken is that it's fried perfectly, even when it's not fresh. I'm not going to question the magic behind it, I will just say it tastes crispy and yummy and tastes great with rice or the gravy that it comes with. The portions are fair for the price. My pre-teen son likes their spicy chicken sandwich; for the "spice," it comes with Sriracha mayo and jalapeños but we usually exclude the jalapeños. The chicken tenders taste a bit mediocre and chewy for me, so probably won't order that again. When it comes to sides, the mashed potatoes and the spaghetti is good! The spaghetti is a bit on the sweeter side for me, but I like all the ingredients mixed into it. I can taste some meat (beef or sausage?) and cheese. I tried it for the first time yesterday and might order it again. I haven't tried the fries here since the pics don't look all that impressive to me. You can't go wrong with the dessert pies if you're craving something sweet. They do have the ube pie here and the peach mango pie. Drink options are fairly limited though.. I mean, you have your classic soda options but the only specialty drink they offer is their pineapple quencher drink. I was expecting this location to offer similar drink options compared to the Mack Rd/South Sac location in California (I frequented that location when I lived there but recently moved to Washington). They had a coconut dream freeze and lychee iced tea and other drink options I really enjoyed, but there's nothing like that at this location. Hence the 4 stars since I'm mainly just coming here for the fried chicken. Another reason is because some items appear out of stock. I wad able to order adobo rice for my previous visit a few weeks ago but when I went earlier this week, that option wasn't available on the app (which was why I decided to try out the spaghetti). They currently are doing a limited time collab with Final Fantasy XIV where you can get an exclusive "Eat Chicken" emote with purchase of the FFXIV box meal or 6 pc bucket bundle, but personally, I feel that it's overpriced and you're paying about $7 for the emote. If you haven't had Jollibee before, I'd recommend trying their chicken at least once. Definitely better quality than Popeyes and KFC (with the exception of the chicken tenders).

1st time having Jollibee. It was delicious!! It was packed when we went but nothing to crazy. We waited about 10 mins for our. I got the 2 piece and my boyfriend got the sandwich. It was nice hot and juicy the gravy was great as the dip. The mac and cheese reminded me of chick fla but less thick more creamy. Still good. I believe in the hype. Service was just like a regular fast food joint. No complaints

I have been wanting to try Jollibee since it first opened in Washington. For one reason or another I never have. We changed that during a recent trip that took us through Tacoma, we needed dinner, and I finally got to try! Aaaaand...meh. I wanted to love it. I'd even settle for just "getting" it. I didn't love it and I didn't really get it, either. The kids got chicken sandwich meals with fries, a drink, and mango pies. My wife had the Katseye tie-in sandwich with mashed potatoes, and I had the spicy chicken sandwich meal with Jolly Spaghetti and an ube pie. I also added an a la carte spicy fried thigh and its accompanying half-gallon of brown gravy. This is largely just preference, but I find Popeye's sandwiches bigger, juicier, spicier, crunchier, and tastier. KFC's aren't any better, but they are a fair bit cheaper. These were kind of boring, especially considering the hype. The spicy one wasn't so much spicy as it was seasoned, while the regular sandwiches tasted kind of lacking ANY spice. The Katseye sandwich was better, but incredibly sweet. I did enjoy the flavor of the sauce though. The fries were fries, the mashed and gravy were again, fine but not notable, and the solo thigh, like the spicy sandwiches, was a tiny bit spicy, but for all the red grease that ran out, I'd expect more kick. I don't get the thing with the gravy; I didn't find it added to the taste in any great way, and made eating a messy food even messier. And you are given a LOT of gravy. The pies were awesome. I think they were fried, like McDonald's back in the day. Just 11/10. The pies were also the only hot thing we got. Not that other stuff was ice cold, but the pies were very hot, and the rest was barely over room temp. It was weird since we waited quite a while for it, and ate right there. I almost forgot the Jolly Spaghetti; if you're not familiar, it's sweet spaghetti with hot dogs in meat sauce. It wasn't for us, but I get that one. It reminded me of canned Spaghetti-Os with hot dogs I'd get sometimes as a kid. As for the service, the counter was super fast and friendly, but the place was absolutely not being cleaned in appropriate haste or thoroughness. Just greasy and sticky with empty tables sitting unwiped. It was unfortunate. One of the restrooms was out of order when we were there as well, so the whole vibe was not super pleasant.

This was my first time trying Jollibee, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the two-piece meal with a side and a drink, and decided to try their pineapple juice which was absolutely delicious. The spicy fried chicken definitely lives up to its name. I loved how crispy, flavorful, and light the batter was. The chicken was juicy and well-marinated, and the meal even came with a biscuit. One piece was fresh and hot, while the other tasted like it may have been sitting for a bit, but it was still good. The food came out fast, and the overall experience was great for the price. The interior was super clean and well maintained, and the cashier was very friendly. Good place for fried chicken.

This Jollibee opening up was a big deal to my boyfriend and I and I'm sure a lot of others as we don't need to drive all the way to Tukwila for Jollibee cravings. This is my first time going in and I was there to redeem my free birthday pie and I saw that they have an ube pie now. I've had their peach mango one before so it only felt right to try out something else. I put my order in as I was running a few errands and just wanted a quick sweet treat. The inside looked really warm and inviting. They have some Christmas decorations throughout the store. The staff here were all friendly and patient with the customers and myself. The ube pie was really good but it is very hot so be wary!

I want to LOVE this location but it keeps falling short of my expectations. I compare it to the Southcenter location where the chicken has always hit the spot. The chicken here just isn't cooked like the Tukwilla location. It's not the crisp juicy chicken that I'm used to and sometimes it is oily. The pricing is kind of crazy expensive for a family of 4. Yes, they do offer Combo meals but the sides are so small! It's going to cost you more to upgrade to family sized sides. Rice doesn't even come with the meals anymore. That's extra. You better cook rice at home before you get the chicken! Lol Another thing that is disappointing is that they don't offer Palabok here. Bottom line- I will still come back because of convenience, if I am really craving this childhood treat.

Wow. Great tasting chicken, awesome biscuits and excellent choice of sides. Friendly clean and great experience all around. We had the 2 piece chicken with side, drink and pie for $14. We had more than enough food for two women. The rice and mashed potatoes were well made and flavorful. The biscuits out of this world and I did not miss the American style butter and jam add. But the chicken! Wonderful! And I usually go to a Korean chicken place but this is now in my to places for the best chicken. Pro tip: Don't want pie? Just say and save a $1 Service: outstanding Cleanliness: great Restrooms: clean gender neutral Myfitnesspal: Yes!

Please keep this business open! There are only 3 of these in WashingtonState and having the most Filipinos here in Seattle and Tacoma it is so nice to have. From the Filipino fried chicken, spaghetti, pineapple drink, palanok and so much more this is a must. The people are friendly and the ambience is all about the Philippines which I love!!! Please try it out and see why this fried chicken is touted as the best. Try for yourself. Crispy, juicy and flavorful. Yaaaaaaaas!

Chooksty loved the jollibee spaghetti and chickenjoy! Shoutout to this location for letting me order a party pack right when they opened at 0900 for my promotion ceremony later that day. No complaints and simply just went full send to ensure that I got all the food that I wanted to feed my 15ish guests. The staff was so accommodating and even had the store doors open a couple of minutes before the official time, so they let me sit on the side before I could begin to order. I really thank them for that! Good was like any other Jolibee restaurant, but the way that the staff made sure that I had enough condiments, plates, and utensils to bring back to my promotion ceremony meant so much. Not at all did the staff here limit me with the possibilities! I like that the Jolibee bee statue is outside because I feel like it is such an iconic photo op moment for this chain. I also like the informational tiles on the wall that detail the history of how Jolibee came about and the honorable accolades that it received throughout the decades at different countries.

Peace Peach Mango Pie - needs more filling
    Bianca J.

I wanted to try this place because I heard it has yummy juicy fried chicken that's pretty good! We got a 6 pc bucket, a 2 pc of their new Korean bbq sauce meal with a side of fries and a peach mango pie. I think the best time out of everything was the Korean bbq sauce (by itself), the gravy and the peach mango pie (although it needs way more filling, it was quite empty). The chicken was very fatty and kind of small and some pieces I didn't know if they were cooked all the way. Also, the fries needed salt. They have great and friendly customer service but the quality and taste of food is lacking. It wasn't horrible but I will not be back.

I ordered two Cheesy Yum Burgers, but the patties were very dry and tasted like they had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. Additionally, it seemed like they only put a tiny bit of sauce on the burgers, like why? That was very disappointing considering I paid $6 for each. Lastly, the fries were unexpectedly extra crispy for some reason. I didn't take a picture of the burgers yesterday cause I was rushing to go home.

I have never been to Jollibee and found myself in the area so figured I'd give it a shot for lunch. The parking lot at around 12:30 PM on a Sunday was extremely crowded but I was able to pretty easily find parking as it is a mall. The line was almost out the door but moved fast and efficiently. I ordered my meal and was given a buzzer. It took a few minutes but I got my order quickly, though it was a small order and i received my food before others who had ordered before me. As I walked to the seating area, a group left a table, and a worker very quickly wipes it down before I start eating which was kind. The chicken was some of the best fried chicken I've had in Washington. It was a good crispy outside, flavorful and juicy inside. I will say that I ordered the spicy and I didn't really taste any added spice. The spaghetti was fine, bbq sauce tasting with some hotdogs. I enjoy the novelty of it, but in the future I'd just opt for chicken personally. I also got a peach mango pie that I ate a few hours later after briefly microwaving and it was delicious too!

As a Filipino who has family that makes restaurant quality food, he is picky with his food but he said the flavors here are pretty close to how his family cooks it. I am always on the hunt for good kare kare and I saw they serve it so I was already super excited to go. We arrived around 1ish pm and we were able to find parking and enter inside where we saw three tables occupied with happy customers enjoying their meals. They have small tables and large tables, but definitely plan ahead as most of these tables seat 2-4 people. They have a section at the left end of the order area where you drop off dirty dishes in bins as well as a condiments section. We were greeted warmly by the owner who was cheerful and patient with us. My boyfriend got their longganisa and lumpia and he was asked if he wanted adobo sauce on his rice which I thought was neat! The food was served on paper plates with a scoop of rice, which didn't help with presentation and honestly made me lose my appetite a bit. The space also felt rundown and could really use a deep clean--you can tell it needs mopping and some general upkeep. That said, the owner or staff working was very nice, friendly, and easygoing. With some improvements to food quality and cleanliness, this place could definitely be better.

We tried Northwest Lumpia for the first time and were seriously impressed. While the exterior of…read morethe building may seem unassuming, the lumpia inside is some of the tastiest I've had. The lumpia come frozen in bags of a dozen, making them easy to store and cook whenever you're ready. We fried them at home and they turned out perfectly crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious - better than many restaurant lumpia we've had. Their vinegar and sweet sauces are also fantastic and pair perfectly with the lumpia. The banana turon were my favorite! The value is excellent for the quality and portion size, and I really appreciated their YouTube videos with clear, easy-to-follow cooking instructions. The process was completely foolproof, even for anyone new to frying lumpia at home. The only downside is their limited hours, which can make planning a bit tricky. That said, once you've stocked up, it's well worth it. Highly recommend if you're craving great lumpia at home--this will definitely be a repeat purchase for us!
